Agreed. They're doing stuff nobody else is doing in a market where I thought most of the innovation with multitools has come and gone brands like roxon and nextool are just coming up with wild stuff that just works well.
Hope to see mine in the post soon. Roxon is crushing it atm with their updates and upgrades. Bringing in D2 blades and DIN 1.4116 scissors, in the KS2E. Wonder if they'll update the phantom too!?
i will order if there is an upgrade to the s802s. Like it a lot. I am waiting for the KS2E to arrive. I just received the M2 yesterday. What a nice little multitool. I like Roxon - they are coming out with multitools that are of their own design / innovations instead of just clones with some tweaking. The only thing is that for them to use better materials but they seems to be doing it slowly now.
@nitric75 On their homepage or ali-store description pictures, they say "You asked we listened." Just checked and the Flash (S803E) has been updated to d2/DIN 1.4116 as well.
@@marcuscrowell6964 I like timber handles on knives, but they seem to be increasingly rare, all the manufacturers have to do is give plastic a different name and people get excited.
Mr. Kincaid, totally love the plier and knife combination. I'm failing to see the knife and scissors combination. The modularity is cool but personally it lacks luster for me.
I do. I grow vegetables. Having a pair of decent scissors that can cut through twine and zip ties, and maybe trim the occasional plant, is way more useful than pliers
Ok comment people sell me on scissors. I've always just carried a normal knife and never have needed scissors to cut something a knife couldn't. So let me know what you use scissors for.
O MY GOD ROXON DOES LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMER. TOTALLY BUYING THIS ONE
Agreed!
The variety and innovation of these Chinese multi tool companies is pretty impressive
It is!

Agree the innovation is amazing and really follows what the consumer is asking for…isn’t that a new concept
I love this roxon system. I can't wait to see what else they come out with that uses it! This one is REALLY tempting
I'm definitely buying 2 of these tools..

@hvacbudget8600 Got my fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed for it.
@@Baggytrousers27 oh thanks for the info. hopefully can get the S802s upgraded too.
I really hope they make a folding scissor only version
Would take metal handles over plastic every time.
Same
More options for handles and finishes in general would be nice

Can't you just use your knife blade to cut all of that?
@@randybowman I grow a lot of tomatoes and climbing beans. If you're securing them to canes with string as they grow ... scissors
Where do you get the tanto blade replacement I can find every other blade but can't find the tanto
Never mind I just got in contact with Roxxon Customer service they don't sell it separately and it only available on the Roxxon Phantom Multitool
How far out does BA08 utility blade stick out of the frame when closed? Community post?
ruclips.net/user/shortseJKKOJuqXJQ
about 1 1/4" total height from bottom of tool to top of utility blade.
Wish the scissors had the tweezers.
I would have liked a somewhat more complete tool but this one is quite great I mean it's the original KS but with modular blades which is nice !
Agreed!
WOW ! They've actually made an effort to use modern design and tolerances !
It's not styled from 70's Russia 😲
I want one. Especially since I have a bunch of blades for my phantom
It is nice!
Can you show the ROXON S501U with the utility knife implement?
I did a short video on it. Hope that helps. Check under shorts on the channel.
@@hvacbudget8600Thanks it is perfect!
Is there another multi tool brand that has innovations like Roxon? bcs they really cool
Nextool is probably the next one that comes out with frequent interesting tools.
@@hvacbudget8600 agree! but that interchangeable tools is really temptating
Is this the same like the roxon flex? 🤔🤗
A bit different in that just one tool slot is available for exchanging.
Can the pocket clip be moved to the tip up position?
I don't think so unless you drill a new hole to secure the clip.
Are the blades the same for both the new and older models?
Yes.
👍🏼I like it.
That's 😎
damm look pretty good
