I haven’t checked your website but is there a way to get this tool delivered with a different blade installed rather than the straight edge without an additional purchase?
I also like that diamond file. The utility blade holder is also cool. I guess with it, the Roxon S501U multitool, is like a Milwaukee Fastback with scissors (or pick your favorite utility blade knife. For EDC though my current razor knife or as they call it the Olight "Otacle U1 Carbon Fiber Small Folding Tool." Well worth the 24.99usd. I used the exact title or name to make a search easy as otherwise one may not find it as there is not mention of razor or utility on the page--"regular blades" are mentioned.
How hard is it to remove the screw on the scissors for sharpening? I had the original KS2 and no matter what tool I used I couldn't unscrew them (had a small knick that I can't sharpen out now).
@ChrispyThings Yeah! Please let us know. I actually had the same issue with my KS2E. That's why I'm looking at this knife and scissor. I used my T bits (I don't know the size), but they stripped. Funny enough, I even used the Roxon bits that came with the KS2E, and they stripped. I put as much torque as I could with my mini ratchet, similar to the Topeak one. I just couldn't get it off. From what I could see, that oneside with a round piece like the one in your thumbnail. I don't think it's attached to the scissors, so when you try to tighten it or take it off, it spins freely. I tried to put some tape to hold it in place while I tightened it, but it didn't work until I loosened it. So, it might have a track that holds it in place because if you get it just right, it can tighten, but be careful if you do because I don't think mine performs as it used to idk. New sub as well!
very skeptical of “field-strip” knives like these; they tend to loosen up over time because they are engineered to come apart, not to stay together. i carried the ken onion slacker for a while - interesting knife, but after a year the lock over-engages and the blade is canted off to the side
It’s I have a Slacker. I haven’t used it that much so it’s still relatively in good shape, but it’s tough to say if that’ll happen with this multitool. I can say I’m using this a lot more than my Slacker!
@@ChrispyThings i worked in a dirty environment, so i took my Slacker apart every day to clean it; i think that was what did it in. i would be interested in an update video later on, to see if this multitool has held up
I mean just look at them in general. They update older models with slightly modified new ones that have better materials, so they basically start small and build up with the power of their niche. Now they have the money to start larger projects like the S501U and their new modular tool they are releasing. They are trying to innovate whilst pushing for larger projects/materials as they go, seeking to tackle down the multitools giants with truly priceworthy stuff. If they continue doing this they'll soon enough become a proper threat to Leatherman/Victorinox and so on (technically they already are cost wise to performance, but I mostly mean popularity wise).
Thank you for the video and the support! We appreciate it! :)

I don’t believe so. I’ve only seen it with the same blade it ships with.
I love this design I need to purchase A few of these for my son and myself. This will be his first multiool.
I got mine yesterday I like it very much knife is perfect and the price adorable keep up the good work Roxon
I love mine. I put a screw on thumb stud on the sheep’s foot blade which makes it much easier to open and close.
Roxon and Nextool are my go-to's, currently carrying the Nextool Sailor - great quality and price
Just ordered after watching your review 😊
It is a great tool design. My Leatherman Surge is my daily carry but Roxon rocks-on, for sure.
that is most have. awesome review .
the most underrated tool for that set is the diamond file
I don’t think I can disagree when talking about being underrated

I haven’t tried to remove the screw yet. I’ll have to try it and see

A must have tools 🔥💯
They do make a saw blade it is sold on Amazon
Put a zip tie on cut out to help flip it

It’d be awesome if they carried this over to the mini multitools or even made a ‘keychain’ Flex.
Be nice if they made a replacement saw blade
100% I wonder why that hasn’t happened yet!
