    Guys nakakain ako nito kagabi lang, break time sa night ride bike, sa may Maginhawa st. QC malapit sa sm save more, tapat ng Andok's. Legit, taga dagupan yung chef, ang sarap... lalo na kung sawa na kayo sa tapsilog. 😎👍

    I was first year HS when we lived in Dagupan. Ive been wanting to try this food for a long time but i did not know what it was called. I tasted this during that time when i lived there. So now , after i warched Kuya Jake's vlog who was rsting this in a restaurant, i came to your vlog on how to make it.
    I'll try to make it, thanks to you. Its like Bistik but different because of the repolyo.

    Been looking for some authentic pigar-pigar and your vid didn’t fail.
    I believe Pigar-pigar is a quick dish, served during the unholy hours in Dagupan’s night market. Served with simplest ingredients, with a veggie (cabbage) you can easily grab or buy from the nearby stall.

      Tama, made even better if halong lard or animal fat ung oil na pinang deep fry... sa sa actual na pagluluto sa Dagupan theyve been using the same oil all day sa mga orders kaya yan din i guess sikreto nila dyan...

      Guess you can use beef broth or just water. It may alter the original taste but will still do the job

      pwede naman po natin e try gawin ang pan fry.saglit lang e pan fry para malambot pa din po... ganito po kasi talaga ang pagluluto nila nito kung sa pamamaraan po nila...

      hindi kailangan. manipis dapat ang pagkakahiwa para saglit lang lulutin.. kapag pinatagal. ang pagprito o pagluluto mas magiging tough yung meat

    Curious lang po pero kelan nagkaroon ng cabbage ang pigar-pigar? Nung bata pa po kasi ako walang kasamang cabbage ang pigar-pigar na nabibili sa Dagupan

      Yes pwede naman po kung yon po ang preferred ninyo. pero ganyan po talaga yan niluluto. kung magagawi po kayo sa lugar ng pigar-pigar, ganyan po talaga nila yan niluluto... salamat po 😊

      Pagkahango gumamit po ng strainer to remove excess oil and let it sit for atleast a minute, bago ilagay sa plato.. sa mag nag titinda gumagamit din po sila ng strainer to remove oil,. Not sure how long before they transfer sa plate

      para sa recipe na to this is for cara beef or regular beef,.. not sure how pork will go in terms of taste and texture if you follow the procedure,.but go ahead and try, it doesnt hurt to do an experiment though.. thanks for watching! 😉

    Overall Ok. Easy to follow. But, one thing is your knife. Next time make sure it is sharp enough for not to ruined the carabeef into preffer slices.

    Meron missing ingredient, sabagay un ung secret ingredient ng mga Dagupeño so hindi ko alam dahil hindi ako Dagupeño, comment na lang mga kaibigang Dagupeño natin jan.

    Sa pag slice pa lng mali na,
    At walang tuyo sa ingridients nyan pati Magic sarap
    Ikaw na kakain ang maglalagay ng toyo o patis
    Asin vetsin at Paminta lng
    At di sinasabay ang repolyo at sebuyas
    Una muna ang beef, hangoin at deep fried na ang veggies at onions 🤣

    *PLEASE* dont ever EVER use *”PANGALATOK”* in your videos or in real life.
    Use Pangasinan/Pangasinense (Both use to refer the people and language)
    if you did not know(or u probably know 😑)
    The term *”pangatok”* is an insult to us pangasinense, this term is used as a form of mockery by people from other provinces.
    Dont use this word next time, unless you really want to make fun of us again.

    Bakit lahat na recipe nang pigar pigar deep fried. Original is not deep fried. Ang nauna nagluluto nang pigar pigar yong nasa street, baba nang famous building Modesta in Dagupan city. Early 80’s after kami mag bar noong college bili kami karne nang bahong katay na baka.. dalhin namin sa kalye may magluluto sa gilid gilid asin, paminta at sibuyas lang.. tapos bili na kami kanin sa nagluluto yong ang business nila.

    Mas masarap pa rin ang pigar pigar sa early 80's. Bili ng Karne ng baka, small intestines, liver at mga litid litid, chopped into small cubes, lagyan lang ng asin at walang hugasan, diretso sa kumukulong mantika, lagyan ng maraming chopped na sibuyas, ilang minutos lang at hanguin na kaagad. Kainin ng mainit sa kanin. Yan ang rhe best na pigar pigar. Hindi ung hinihiwa ng manipis ang karne at di naman niluluto na parang beef steak
