So glad you're still enjoying the album! You're actually halfway through the album in terms of tracks (this was #5 of 10), but you're over halfway done in terms of overall time (You've heard roughly 30 minutes and only about 17 minutes left to go). What I like about their albums is that none of them are really remotely similar. They always seem to find new transitions within their songs which definitely helps them remain fresh even after hearing them several times. The Doctor that is marrying King's mom is Dr. Landau. He was King's doctor at the sanitarium when he was there after slicing grandma's throat at the end of the Them album. This is the dream that his sister Missy sent him as a warning. Will King understand the warning, and will he act on it? Only the next 5 songs will tell! Thanks Randi!!
My favorite song on this album , they are all good , but this one has a really insane twist . This album was not so well received, in the beginning.... it's actually , one of the most classical music inspired album King ever done . Lot of Tritones ( we call it horror themes ) the elder name is Diabolus in musica . It was not " allowed" in the middle age , but later on you can hear it it Wagner , Beethoven..and many more .... You heard Dave Mustaine, I heard Alice Cooper. With the vocal range of this, it wouldn't surprise me if someone somewhere heard Barbara Streisand. The music at the start held an air of menace, only because we know who put the song together, and won't be led into a false sense of security again. Having made that statement, I actually did get comfort from the more contemporary hard rock. But that's my comfort zone, and has been for well over 40 years. Especially those solo's, but even then we can't get too used to what we think is coming next. With so many jumps in tempo, twists in style, move from sweet to sour, it would be a fools game to expect normal. The theme wasn't what I'd label a dream, unless dread and hopelessness where the usual content of things occurring in my mind once asleep. If my creams took that course, I'd bo on my kneews at every dawn, giving thanks for being set free from such terror. Got to admit, I thought I was going to hear "look at his hand, he bares the mark of the beast". But there was no beating about the bush when he came right out whit it, "he's the devil". Not even a hint of being subtle here. OK got to go. TTFN.
the early voice on the early mercyfull fate album is a bit like listening to a young ozzy something is missing on the later albums king have also had problems with his throat later in his life, maby that is some of the reason. his old band mercyful fate was also in another league they recorded in the same studio as metallica in copenhagen when the bands made their first albums. if a metal band havent done a tribute to mercyfull fate, they are not a metal band. metallica have done a few for example

Throw the fact that its King Diamond behind the album into the mix and... Well, it probably won't be pretty, lol. There are some really lovely people attracted to this channel. It's very comforting to know that trolls gather around so many other places, and seem to bypass BED. I had already recommended the Abigail and Them albums in their entirety. Her reactions to all the songs on those albums are on the channel. I think, when she mentions only having listened to 1 full album, she's considering Them and Conspiracy as 1 mega album since they tell a single story.

Haven't heard of them. Great song. It reminds me of like Ozzy or some 80s rock bands because he uses his high voice a lot.
