I realize I said "20 cards" a few times in this video. It took me a few hours to realize that there are only 16 on that sheet. Sorry about that. I think because they are the size 5" x 4", my brain just automatically multiplied and came up with 20. Well, it WAS an early, early morning when I did this, lol. Thanks for putting up with me. 😂
I did watercolor winter scenes, cut them out with a circle cutter, punched a tiny hole at the top and added a string. The I punched a slightly smaller hole in my card bases and set the paintings behind the hole. They got a Christmas card and my art became an ornament for the next year.
Next year.....I will print a card from one of my paintings, because this year I've been ill and cannot sit for long to paint. I'm trying to be Frida Khalo painting in bed! It's not easy! Thanks for all your ideas, I will at least get some quick cards done after watching this!
Printing one from a painting works so well and you don't have to cringe (as much) when you think about your work being thrown away after the season. I hope next year finds you better. ❤️
Wow-good thing I don't have that many people to send cards to. Looks like a lot of work. Your idea with the greetings is genius. Much simpler than stamps i more likely to turn out straight.
Cool and clever time-saving process. I, too, love the three round ornaments piece - the metallic/shimmer details were brilliant. Other faves include the stocking and the snowman. ⛄
Thanks, Irene. I love those, too. I finished them up completely (except for putting on cardstock) and I'll try to show them at the end of Friday's video if I remember.
Your cards are beautiful. I love them all. I like the strand of Christmas lights, the Christmas ornaments, and the stocking the best, but they are all awesome. I will have to get better organized so I can do this next year. Maybe, I will manage a few this year.
Loved the video and the cards. I have a lot of favorites including the Christmas light bulbs and the Christmas glass balls. Thank you! Hope the class was as much fun for you as it probably was for your students.
From Amazon at this link: amzn.to/3QQPT1e and I really like this one, too, because it diffuses the light better and doesn't require a cord: amzn.to/46YrnRn - thanks for watching!
I loved watching you make all your cards, very cool idea to do them all on one big block! Also I just wanted to let you I saw you left a comment on one of my videos but I can't find it now unless you deleted, so I just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. I have heard YT deletes some comments though I don't know why.
Thanks, Naomi. Oh no problem about the comment. RUclips deletes perfectly good comments from my channel all the time. I see the orbit of them not them can't access them. Drives me crazy, lol.
Sorry to hear that. You can slow videos down by using the gear icon on the bottom right of the video screen and changing the Playback Speed. Regardless, I will keep that in mind for future videos!

What a great idea! I think I kept some cutters from my grandma's house. I'll have to look and see what I can do.

You could use a craft hot air dryer to make them dry quicker if you don’t want them to bleed. Or a hair dryer.
Thank you for the speediness of the video (there are tons of long ones elsewhere on RUclips) and love the ideas and your tips!!
Oh, thank you! I'm glad it was helpful and not overly long, lol!
We call the ones that hang off the tree baubles lol, loved the cards, LOVED the snow man
Baubles, got it. :-D I'm glad you like the snowman; I thought he was going to be a failure at first, lol.
Very fun ideas!
Thank you!
They're beautiful and do look fun!
Thank you!

Thanks, Beth. I was never very good at sending Christmas cards until I started making them on my channel, lol.

Thanks, Diane. Now to actually send them out, lol. I should probably do that today.
This was so fun to watch! Thank you!
I'm so glad you enjoyed watching it - thank you for letting me know!
Very well done and colourfull. Gave me ideas, but not for xmas cards. See you on Friday. V.
Thanks Valerie. I'm glad it at least gave you some ideas!
Great ideas and so simple.
Tfs.

Thanks, Eileen. Yes, we had so much fun in class and I'll show you the completed cards at the end of Friday's video if I remember.
Beautiful cards. Very nice variety.
Thank you, George. I love variety. It's fun not always doing the same thing on repeat.
Cute stuff! 🎄❄️❤️
Thank you!
How cute are your cards, I just LOVE the stocking! And the rainbow tree, and the snowman with carrot nose...and the baubles....oh, all of them! 😂
Lol, your comment made me laugh; thanks for that! Hugs.
Great video 😊 where dit you get the light box?

What is the best watercolor paper to use.
I prefer 100% cotton paper like Arches, Fabriano or Baohong. I also really love the Paul Rubens glitter paper. ✨️
Where can I purchase the Christmas template that you use in your Christmas video?
Which template do you mean specifically? 🤔

Where can I purchase a Chrisrmas template?
What Christmas template are you referring to?
Great design ideas for the cards but the voiceover felt so rushed it was stressful to listen to 😮💨

Not a fan!!!! You work way to fast and it seems like you just fling the paint anywhere!!!
You can slow the videos down by clicking on the gear icon on the bottom- right corner and changing the Playback Speed.
@@MirandaWatsonArt I apologize for the rude comment. You are a wonderful artist.
