I’m so happy you have an art channel! I only realised when you mentioned it in the last mudlark video. I absolutely adore watercolours but don’t play with them enough. You’ve given me some lovely ideas, thank you. Also, much love to Phil and Manky xx
Thank you Susan :) Watercolours are great fun to play with, especially as they are so unpredictable when used with a ton of water :D Phil and Manky said Thank you :)
This was the best video yet! Perfect music and perfect results! I didn’t know there are different qualities of watercolor paint, but it makes sense. I am definitely going to do this with my granddaughter. You made it look so simple. Thank you for all the pleasure you bring to us. And Happy Christmas to you! (Or Merry Christmas from the USA)
@@myhomeonthehillside 😀🎄 I must admit our decks went up this weekend, never have they been up so early. I think we needed a bit of sparkle and glitter in our lives😊
@@TorchTaleMiniatures I don;t blame you :) Yes, any sparkle and glitter is more appreciated than ever this year. We'll be putting ours up early, as soon as we get chance, so could be a while lol
What fun! I totally enjoyed watching and listening to you create your cards Caroline! Thanks for sharing! I haven’t painted with water colors since grade school! I may just buy myself some paints!
Hi Caroline. I love the cards. Never tried watercolors with water. I use watercolor pencils for doll face ups. So fun, I make my cards with stamping. Blessings
Thank you Jeriann :) I've never used watercolour pencils for that. Sounds interesting! I'd never thought about using stamps till I made cards. Another rabbit hole of online searching for me to go down on a rainy day :D
Hello Ruth :) A lot depends on your budget as you can get such a huge selection. My favourite is Windsor and Newton. I have several others, but always go back to those. If you keep an eye out on EBay, sometimes someone is selling them off as they don;t use them any more and can be a real bargain. I prefer pans to tubes, but that is just personal choice. They are easier to use and store. There are lots of great brands though, so if you spot a bargain, then go for it and see how you get along :) Bear in mind that cheaper ones tend to fade over time in the sunshine, but for cards, that isn;t a huge problem :)
The second tear drop card you made ... if you look closely , the first one has a Christmas tree on thr left lower side & the other 2 look like thr galaxy ! BEAUTIFUL ! I love it !
