I’m confused. You said you were “going through to add darker areas and at same time lift up” “ add second washes to darken and intensify the shadows” then it sped it up. Your next comment was “while I’m waiting for my second layer of reds to dry so I can do more lifting”. My question was did you use red? Did you do a second wash of red or just the maroon and maroon/ natural tint mix?
