This really makes u appreciate what happens behind the scenes. All the boys and girls put the hard work to make this the best tournament on this planet. Amazing job guys!
It's good to see that people are talking/feeling positive things in tennis again. Hope this stays for a while but when ones favorite player doesn't win the tournaments they expect this year we and also the players will of course get a bit salty again :)
Novak is right at the start of the video : No other slam strives to improve as much as the AO. They've improved every year, especially in the last decade. They've worked so much on improving the infrastructure, player facilities as well as media coverage.
@@bilalal-dujaily8375 it's the most fan directed, this channel is always really good with uploads and the facilities are really high class in a modern way.
AO has become my favourite slam, maybe even more than Wimbledon. As it's the first slam of the year and first big tournament after a long break it creates a lot of buzz and excitement. The players are all well rested and ready to go. I also love the court colours and general vibe/ good weather. You don't get horrible crowds booing players they don't like as you see at the FO and USO. Easily the best media coverage and most generous in terms of putting up long highlights on RUclips. Can't wait for next week!
@@llluciferangel6276Roland Garros would probably be a top 2 slam if Nadal wasn't so dominant. The fans may not be loud but they sure understand and care for tennis, not just the big 4 who get the attendance.
The USO is the best slam and becoming the most popular slam, it is the middle of the most important city of the world. The NY culture, fashion, marketing, nightlife and night matches makes it magical. The USO gives players the most access to media, sponsors and the fans ignite fire within the players. New tennis stars have been made in the USO then any other grandslam. The AO is a great grandslam, ran well and the people are super friendly but due to their location and proximity to other major hub cities, they are not as popular. They are more a local grandslam then becoming a larger than life grandslam.
Oliver McCall Why? He hasn’t beaten Roger on a hard court in years. If your reason is Roger’s age, then that’s acceptable. But if we are going on recent history, Federer would be slightly favored at AO.
Felt really emotional watching this now. Can't wait for the time when we can get back to scenes/atmospheres/productions like these--we will appreciate it 1000x more.
So nice to see the people behind the scenes who work so hard everyday to make a great event like this an amazing experience for everyone from players, to officials, to ball guys/girls, audience, etc. Good job AO TV!
Better take Medvedev , Tsitsipas and Dominic thiem seriously. I m the biggest Rafa fan but disappointed that he's so tired just at the beginning of the year. He played a lot of tennis last year even after that abdominal injury. ATP finals-Davis cup- Mubadala and now this exciting but exhausting ATP cup. Djokovic, as always, is looking the favorite. Tsitsipas, Medvedev and Wawrinka are looking like the one's to beat him,if he's to be beaten this year. Haven't seen much of Fed after ATP finals. I expect Matteo berittini to continue from where he left 2019. Go Rafa# Vamos
But for me Wimbledon is the favourite Grandslam, though AO has its own identity and also nice hospitality provided to Fans and Players by the Officials
I'm going for the first men's quarterfinal this time... Hope it'll be a great match. And I'm going for the Rally for Relief exhibition too. So excited..
@@michaelahass2695 thank you. It's my first even grand slam I'm going to. I'm excited to see Roger and Rafa and everyone else at the exhibition too. It'll be fun today 😁
Of course Novak is the overwhelming favourite based on history (greatest AO champ ever) and recent form, but for me there are 6 main contenders: Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, Medvedev, Tsitsipas and Thiem. Why the latter 3? Medvedev proved that he has the ability to go all the way at the last USO, Tsitsipas has got his game to a really high level that can trouble any of the Big 3 and Thiem has really improved on hard courts, nearing the level he produces on clay although I'd give him the least chance of winning out of those 6 guys all because of his inconsistencies. Who are the dark horses with potential but little expectation on their shoulders? Shapovalov for sure and maybe De Minaur.
This was a great video. Now I wish The Australian Open officials would allow people to make tribute videos, of players, which include AO footage. Come on AO Officials, show some love and share a little with the fans! Is it that big of a copyright issue to allow anywhere from 1 minute to 25 minutes of video highlights from The Australian Open? GEEEEZ...

I love how progressive and modern AO has become.
