Every time I see AO22 match point, I still tear up. It was amazing. It was "The Miracle In Melbourne". An absolute WARRIOR of tennis - Mr. Rafael Nadal.
Rafa had more heartache at the Australian Open than at any other tournament during his career. I’m so glad he won that long awaited 2nd Championship in 2022. 🥹💪🏽🇪🇸🎾👑❤️🔥🥰👏🏾
crazy to think, even though he hasn’t won it the most, he’s been involved in all of the most memorable matches at AO; 2009 SF and F, 2012 F, 2017 F, and 2022 F
The world is just happy when Rafa wins. Look at all those smiles at the AO 22’ match point, the whole crowd standing up and cheering in unison 🥹. Rafa you didn't just produce miracles, you were the miracle. Enjoy your retirement, you've earned it and thanks for all the wonderful memories ❤🙏🏼
RAFA IS MY CHAMPION.. THE BEST… MY G O A T .. WITHOUT A DOUBT… RAFA IS AN EXCELLENT MODEL NOT ONLY FOR TENNIS PLAYERS , ALSO FOR ALL ATHLETES OF ALL DISCIPLINES.. THE PRESENT & FUTURE ATHLETES.. YOUNG & OLD A GREAT MODEL, WITH SUPERB CHARACTER & SPORTSMAN..
It's Djokovic who is the GOAT. But he is not my fav. For me it's Nadal in clay and Federer in other surfaces. Nadal and Federer never took extended toilet breaks when their opponents were winning, never started press conference after losing saying "I was not at my best today" or "nothing worked for me" to steal the credit of the opponent, did not break racquet or "Accidentally" hit ball boys, and do not have a toxic dad and fan base who attack anyone who criticise Djokovic and anyone who deny the GOAT title to Djokovic.
Rafa was so unlucky at AO, 2014 especially due to.injury and relinquishing 5th set leads in 2012 & 2017. Watching 2022 just felt like it made up for his past disappointments. Vamos Rafa, a true sporting legend ❤
Rafa is the greatest of all time. All heart; all heart work; all passion and resilience in the face of adversity. Talent blended with fight and tenacity. Not even injuries could stop him from achieving all that he did...
Andy Roddick's tribute to Rafa is moving and can bring a tear. These Rafa records are likely to stay in the dimension of time: 1. Rafa did not break a single racquet. 2. Respect for one and all and ludicrously humble even when no one's looking. Jon Werthiem finds it staggering, otherworldly. 3. Apologising for winning a Grand Slam. Remember the genuine compassion for Roger at AO 2009? It cannot be replicated, not even in a film or a cartoon strip. 4. Lost 4 years to injuries. 16 chances to have amassed at least half of them if not more. Yet ends up just 2 short of Novak's 24. 5. Perhaps his tennis academy could be unmatched in terms of nourishing human values in sport. As Andy Roddick said at the end of his tribute. Rafa, we love you.
Djokovic also could have easily won more GS than he has : couldn't compete in OA 2022, Wimbledon 2020, several US open because of the covid situation... And everytime, he was the favourite. Everyone has excuses but in the end the guy with the best results is the goat. And if Nadal is injured too often, it's a sad fact but he simply cannot be considered as the best.
I got Rafa's autograph in Cincy 2011. I'll never forget that moment. There will never be another Rafa. Even just isolating the practice session, nobody practiced like him, not even close. The intensity was unmatched and the fact that his body held up to even the brutal practice sessions is a testament to his athleticism.
2022 was the most spectacular match in Rafa career. 2-0 down and down break and close to lost 3-0 set but came back to win 3-2 against Daniel with so tired match even serve for the match got broken but still can find way to win. Other player may lost the spirit. Vamos Rafa.
Really missed seeing clips of the AO semifinal against Verdasco. The level of that match was sublime. Rafa's shots and strategy took my breath away. Disappointed that comments about the greatness of the Big 3 were included in a 14 minute Retirement Tribute for Rafael Nadal.
I was lucky enough to see the Hewitt Vs Nadal match and consider that Hewitt made the final and was in prime form.. and we had heard so much about Nadal as a junior it was a shock to see Nadal play so well.. Hewitt was very lucky that day to get over the line..
We are very proud of him in Spain 🇪🇸 What can I say there’s not another one like him a big player a great person most important . Humility and strength of character!
Coincido con uno de los comentarios, siempre me pongo a ver denuevo su AO 2022, los partidos q suben aquí, verdaderamente fue su último milagro. Your Last Dance. Gracias Rafa, por todo, por esas madrugadas junto a ti, especialmente en Australia, por el horario. Te adoro!!.
AO22 waking up at 5am to watch the whole match will be something i will never soon forget. Thank you Rafa for everything you have done for the sport and for making me fall in love with the sport. You will forever and always be my personal hero
Bro made sure to have produced some of tennis's best matches at the AO even if it wasn't his fav surface a true sportsman, entertainer and legend indeed🐐
Approved Nadal GOAT with many injuries still got 22 Slams , many more other titles and mostly also won against great players even against Novak and Federer and Murray total those matches already may 1/4 his matches in his career.
I become emotional whenever retirement comes to mind. I offer my heartfelt apologies to those who, after years of diligent work and saving for retirement, faced unexpected events that led to significant losses. This situation is especially harsh for retirees
Today, it’s easier to figure out how to improve your retirement savings. With inflation, you can use a professional portfolio manager to explore different markets passively. The impact of US dollar shifts on assets is complex
Even if finance isn't your strong suit, you can always bring in an expert. My $850,000 retirement fund took a nosedive in April, but I quickly called in a financial advisor. They crafted a smart plan to turn things around, and I’ve since pocketed over $250,000!
There are a few standout experts in this field. I’ve tested out a handful over the years, but June Renae Matthysse has been my top pick for the last five years. Her performance is consistently impressive, and she’s a real name to know in the industry. Check her out
I found her contact information, emailed her, and arranged a call. Fingers crossed she responds. I plan to start next year with a solid financial footing
Fun facts that make this guy one of a kind: - Never broke a racket in his life. - Is right-handed but plays with his left hand. - He always carries his racket bag on his right shoulder. Love you Champ.
I always liked watching tennis and there were the absolute legends in the 80s and 90s that you couldn't beat, Sampras, Agassi, Becker, Graf, Navratilova, etc etc - but the era of the noughties with Federer, Rafa, Novak and Murray was something very special; that 20 year period of greatness with those legends competing against each other will never be surpassed and I don't think we will see another Rafa Nadal again anytime soon.
Such unanimity has to mean something... We were so lucky to see Rafa playing... I wonder if there will ever be someone getting close... Of course we must never forget Roger and Novak, and Andy, but he was special...
Fortunately, my spouse and I were able to pay off our mortgage early. Both of us were still employed, so we immediately invested the money we had been using to pay off our mortgage more quickly. Due to nearly seven years of saving the amount that would have been our house payment and maxing out our 401(k) and 403(b) plans, we were able to retire early. Fortunately, both of our parents instilled in us the need of living within our means. I appreciate your advice. I'm confident it will benefit others. We're looking at options that can help me save for retirement; after all, I've heard of folks who made hundreds of thousands of dollars while
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
As the Amtal Principle says: "something can only be known if it's brought to its limits, to its breaking point". Rafa knows that, and that's how he came to fully know himself.
