Seeing this for the first time after the live action announcement is so wild. THIS is what an adaption of Zelda should look and feel like. It's so full of color and life and the childlike wonder a true Ocarina of Time-era story would have early on. It's a bummer knowing that a big commercial studio will never be able to capture what you have in just this clip. Excited to see more of it!
Honestly now!!! Like this video right here is just ugh!! It makes Zelda look like a straight up fairy tale. Especially with the small details!! For example the Deku Scrubs and Lon Lon milk jars. Ugh......I'm so damn nervous about the Zelda movie being live action. I'm just so scared that they will make it appeal to the main stream media.

The cel shading on this really elevates the aesthetic to have that "Zelda vibe" missing in a lot of other Unreal Engine fan projects. This looks amazing! Can't wait ❤

It reminds me of the 3DS version of Ocarina of Time. Still astonishes me on how Nintendo ported a huge N64 game and made it almost better on a handheld console.

As a fan of both Zelda and Ghibli, I always wanted to see a collaboration with both studios... I don't think we'll ever get it, but luckily we have Rwan covering us. This looks so beautiful! I can't wait to November 21!

Studio ghibli style was a solid choice, even nintendo were heavily inspired by them, you can clearly see it in breath of the wild art work, this should be the movie we get from them instead of that live action they announced, amazing work Rwan, really hyped for this 21th
Where do you take the information that the Zelda team hired Ghibli workers for Botw? Seems completely new and pretty unlikely to me, couldn't find it online with a quick search either.
The only thing apparent to me is that they where heavily inspired by Ghiblis works.

Wow, this is the first truly beautiful Unreal treatment I've seen for The Legend of Zelda. Other fan projects look soul-less because they think that realistic looking visuals translates to a better looking game. This looks really great!
I can’t wait for this to launch on the 21st. Hope there’s a trailer that shows more. I hope Link and Zelda meet like they did in the Akira Himekawa manga. It was actually cute.

The dedication and luv to Ocarina Of Time is astonishing here bro! This game was my childhood too and my exposure to the franchise as a whole :3 I can tell you grew up with this franchise just like I did too.

The animation looks gorgeous, I can't think of a way to more perfectly mix Ghibli and Zelda (double nostalgia feeling...). The backgrounds are so lovely. As always I wish I could go in there, it feels so comforting. Eagerly awaiting the final release

You know, as much as I really love the ultra-realism showcased in your previous demos, I think this art style jives a lot better with the original art direction of the game. Also, when video games look like this, they're usually the most evergreen graphically. Seriously! This cel-shaded Ghibli style is ageless. I hope you continue using it! But I also still really love the work you've done in the past with ultra-realism.
Zelda and Ghilbi crossover combined. The fact that Jessica Angeles as Latin Spanish Zelda and Adeline Chetail as French Zelda also did voice over roles in Ghilbi films is such a huge coincidence! ☺️

I'm sure everyone has seen "'insert game' in unreal" before, but those videos always strive for "better graphics" over anything else. There's some real artistic intent here, and Zelda as a whole works so well with the Ghibli style. Very well done.

Looks amazing, dude nice work! though I think the celshading from botw/totk don't mix well, maybe its too heavy which makes the colors way brighter than they should be. if you look at the ghibli films, they have bright colors, but contrast it with dark outlines. Other than that, i don't doubt a large amount of effort was put into it. Can't wait to see it on the 21st❤
I really like the artistic direction of Studio Gibli on OOT with Link, Malon (who is my favorite female Zelda character, I love her so much 😍❤️), the characters in Hyrule Town, the colorful settings and landscapes, the music and atmosphere.
You are doing an incredible job, I have rarely seen such a neat and magnificent result, I will have the impression of seeing an official Animated Ghibli film adaptation of Ocarina of Time. 😯👏🏻✨✨

The attention to detail is amazing, all the background characters from the game are here too and at 0:15 you can see the guy running around with the bag to the bottom right for a split second

This is gonna be on Trending! You definitely know what you're doing by holding the camera still and let the players move with limited frames because that's how anime works, Guilty Gear and DBZ figherz ruined it by moving too much in 3D during storymode cutscenes, it also had bad camera angles apart from the finishers but yours are top notch! You showed UE5's true potential. hope Unreal can make a filter so the drawing lines wobble as if it was handdrawn that would be groundbreaking too.

Ok first of all the animation is amazing and is really well done! But to be PERFECTLY honest, this doesn’t really look like a studio Ghibli trailer or film (great animation tho)

Y'know I do think Ghibli might be the best studio to tackle Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.
If someone doesnt hire this person, the world is going to be robbed of some of the most inventive cel shaded 3D graphics I've ever seen. More games that look like this and Hi Fi Rush please. Cel shading literally never ages.
