Very nice man, thanks for sharing! I used to repair cnc equipment, fun to watch somebody who doesn't swing from snap on's jock lol, I love good machinist tools, starret, bondhus, mitutoyo etc.
i like how you tell why you like or don't like a certain tool and your right about snap on and rust i have a unheated shop and have the snap on wire crimpers they have never been outside and they are starting to rust that erks me
It funny how us men love tools...guys in 2019 that younger raised by single mothers not know the way us old school men r....good job man.and I'm a professional diesel mechanic and fabricator
My coworker just bought that box and it is sick, im so jealous! I should've waited before I got my 52" Husky,... by the way your dog made the video!!!!
Gearwrench/Apex will still honor Armstrong's warranty. I was told over the phone and then sent in(not at time of call not connected to my call) a 1/2" universal impact joint that became loose and they sent me a new one(you will receive a gearwrench replacement)
The fan clutches,I use an air hammer with a long bit.Find the fan clutch wrenches useless, they are too thin and break real easy. The Makita tools these day,a little under powered and my Matco dealer rarely sells Makita these days for that reason
Nice tour. Having had Peacock poop on my tools left on a job site years ago I understand your annoyance at the birds. The only animal problems I generally have at home however is cats.
hey im really interested in your hammer holder on the side of your box can u pkease tell me more about it? did u make it? where did u buy it? whats the brand? it looks like its lockable which is why im so interested in it for my box at work thank you!!
I made the hammer holder from a couple of old dowel rods off a used bathroom towel rack, attached to the box with some angle brackets to the extra screw holes where the handle would mount. The sides are just scrap wood with holes drilled slightly bigger than the dowel rods but not all the way threw, then paint it black. It took a few tries to get the size right but it's all scrap anyway.
DaVinci's Garage I have a pair of linesmans and a pair of needle nose from tekton, they have worked pretty well but I do find myself grabbing the knipex first just from a comfort preference. From a cost side you can buy an entire set of tekton for the price of one knipex. Thanks for watching
Those rc car tools would come in really handy to me. I have a HPI Vorza Flux, Hpi e firestorm flux a traxxas rustler and I am getting the traxxas x01 next week hopefully. So yeah they would come in really handy let me know please if you will give them away.
Armstrong didn't really go belly up, Apex shut them down, assholes. Check out cripe distributing they have a bunch of new old stock. And Apex is supposedly going to honor the warranty but you'll get a GearWrench tool back. I have fallen in love with Armstrong USA, I've bought 3 to 4k with of Armstrong stuff in the last 3 to 4 months from cripe distributing and ebay, should have just bought a surplus gmtk
The ever loyal dog who thinks you are talking to him for 40 minutes.

Did you ditch that Snap-On tape measure? It might suck but it looks cool. I'd be interested.
I have it but I want to see if a truck will replace it first.
Can't blame ya. Hope you find a better one!
Hey what do you think about tekton pliers? Im lookin for good inexpensive slip joints , needle nose , ect ect for automotive.

spencer6067 harbor freight m.harborfreight.com/6-compartment-drawer-organizer-99729.html

Where do you get your skinny handle pick tools
Gage Saylor that's a set from craftsman (sears)

7:58 where can you buy that box?
I'm not sure any more, I think it was a Klein socket set that came in it and I repurposed the box.
are the Cornwells metric?
Derek The Tool Guy sockets? Yes those are 1/2 drive deep I think 10mm-19mm
