I think youve done a good job mixing and matching what works with whats affordable. I just picked up a barely used 1022 and ive got a mix of brands as well after full time wrenching for 15 and as a side gig for the last 5. Nice job!
I have those Pittsburgh long sets also couldn't see spending over $800 for two sets of wrenches bought the 13 millimeter longwrench from Mac to finish the metric set and that cost more than the actual whole set. they do work well for the money. going on twenty-seven years in the heavy duty side, like you recently I've been buying a lot of Cornwell to replace old worn-out tools that I've had and they're holding up just fine. nice setup guy 👍
Nice Set Up I have a few of the Sunex swivel impacts they are alright I like how you have the complete full service set they are affordable for the younger Technician's coming into the field until they can make some money and up grade there equipment
Nice setup man. I also started out with a lot of Pittsburgh stuff and just replaced it with snapon whenever something broke. I’ve got some Pittsburgh ratchet wrenches that are 3 years old that still work!
bill beckett S K for the price IS one of the best impact socket sets you can get that are made in the USA. I use them everyday on my snapon 1/2 impact gun.
Nice, I started working on Diesel and CNG Buses for 10 months now. I just got a similar box, is the Snapon SS. Hey, Hope you keep filming more videos. Thanks.
Great tour. You should check out the Pittsburgh service wrench set. It's about $50 for 15 thin cut off style. They're about half as thick as a regular wrench, but made from pretty strong metal. The metric is something like 19-40mm. Not sure about sae.
The main reason you're having an issue on with the t30 on cat is because cat uses torx plus sockets. The teeth are wider and squared on tp versus a traditional torx socket.
Thanks for the tour of your boxes. I have the Pittsburgh Pro long handle wrench for and they work great no problems, plus great buy. You should check out VIM hex stubby they work great in tight area. Keep the videos coming.
miguel mendez Thank you. And I was looking at the stubby hex today on the cornwell truck. For what you get and the price you can bet it. plus my dealer will warranty them.
On your torques bit set make sure they aren’t the GM ones. If so they made those specifically for GM vehicles. Bought a set and wondered why they wouldn’t work on Mercedes vehicles so I took it back to the snap on guy and he said those are GM ones. So he swapped mine out.
looks like you don't need anymore tools but check out the craftsman half twist box end wrenches awesome it puts the broad side of the wrench against your hand and way more pressure without digging into the palp
Great setup. I was wondering if you've had any trouble with the ball end allen sockets. I sold my sets of them and got regular ones after the first couple uses when they rounded out the bolts. And yes they were Snap On. The instruction manual that comes with the boxes is actually very handy. When I got my master series box I didn't like the drawer configuration but couldn't figure out how to separate the ball bearing slides from the box, that manual really helped. My old classic 78 box didn't have a manual but was set up so different the way the slides were attached.
Yeah I was just kidding about the manual haha. And for the ball end allens I have had trouble if they were already worn out or messed up bolts. I found if the bolt head is completely clean and the allen goes all the way in, there isn't a problem. I like them because when you need them, you need them...
I remember when i got my new box like a proud papa everything clean and in its place now its full and i need lockers on both sides lol never ends does it!
good shit dude. put some knipex in that plier drawer, you won't regret it. I've been doing this about the same time as you but flat rate. I think you got me beat on tools but not by much. I recently picked up a 60 inch used epiq for 4k.. not bad. nice vid. might cheap out on some harbor freight stuff now lol
GJ Auto Thank you. And Harbor Frieght has good stuff you just have to see what will work and what wont. And the Kipex pliers are super nice I've just been trying to buy other tools, while my Kliens get me by...
i bought the harbor freight long needle nosed plyers a while back. thinkin well if i like using them ill replace them with a better brand, butvi dont think i need to. they do work really well
I did a toolbox tour too. I didn't that it can be used for insurance. Now I know. 🖒🖒 Your more than welcome to check out my toolbox tour. I like your toolbox and nice box.
WEStTEXAs bought a power probe 3 a couple days after this video... but I get buy with a test light and mult-meter. And no reason to buy a scanner because half or more of the codes is Cat only or John Deere only
So you bought snap on tools.... and don’t use them cause you don’t want them to get dirty... I’m all for clean tools and meticulously clean at the end of each shift, but to spend snap on money for tools and not use them is pretty foolish. There’s better ways to spend your money rather than be the cool kid on the block with everything snap on.
love the organization. great tour and set of tools!
Love all the nice snap on stuff bro! Real sweet!

Awesome tool box tour! Love that u got the box used!
Darwin W Thanks. Yeah buying used in good condition is smarter because the box doesn't make you money the tools do....
Mason Wagoner great point bro can't wait to see more vids on it!
Great vid! That is a very nice investment in tools. I have had great luck with S-K and gear wrench.
bill beckett S K for the price IS one of the best impact socket sets you can get that are made in the USA. I use them everyday on my snapon 1/2 impact gun.
@@wagoner4141 what's the part no. on those deadblow ballpean hammer set for snapon?????
Nice, I started working on Diesel and CNG Buses for 10 months now. I just got a similar box, is the Snapon SS. Hey, Hope you keep filming more videos. Thanks.
Nice boxes and really nice tools. Can't wait to see more.
Snap-On Tool Addict Thanks I got a couple more coming out soon.
Mason Wagoner I can't wait. You should monetize ur videos so you get something back for them even though it isn't much, at least it's something.
Snap-On Tool Addict Yeah I'll have to look into that. thanks for your input...
Yeah no problem.
Thanks for the Tool Box Tour!!! I'm a neat Freak to!😎

so great tour and tools like it
The main reason you're having an issue on with the t30 on cat is because cat uses torx plus sockets. The teeth are wider and squared on tp versus a traditional torx socket.
Spot on cat doesn't use any torx on there motors it's all torx plus
what he sayyiidd.!!!
Yup! Regular Torx are a 5 lobe whereas the Torx Plus are a 6 lobe
Thanks for the tour of your boxes. I have the Pittsburgh Pro long handle wrench for and they work great no problems, plus great buy. You should check out VIM hex stubby they work great in tight area. Keep the videos coming.

If you don’t mind me asking, what did you end up giving for the KRL722 box?
Cool tour tho man love the diesel life!
I had the same problem with the T30 and T25 they were just slightly to big but got them swapped on the snap on van.
alot of cornwell is re-branded, the part number usually gives it away, you can find alot of the tools on amazon, thats a nice box man.
Nice box, Candy apple red with titanium trim.. great idea for insurance.

My Caterpillar torxdriver set has some tips that are not the best fitment. Usually I just grab the HF bit out of the master set instead. Sad but true.
16:46 I love that seal kit
looks like you don't need anymore tools but check out the craftsman half twist box end wrenches awesome it puts the broad side of the wrench against your hand and way more pressure without digging into the palp
Nice video. Can't wait to see more
Nice setup!
nice tour love the krl722
Really nice tour man
LM Garage thanks I appreciate it
Bad ass tour!
On those torques bits check to see if it's Torques 30+ bit
The Snap-On Junkie!!! it says Snap on T30W
Good set, my torque wrenchs live in their boxes too👍.

Yup. I'm a net freak though, my tools go back in the same place every night. but it feels like a huge acheaviment when you buy a nice box
Nice tools. Look for a T27 Tx socket instead of a T30. Greetings from Germany
good shit dude. put some knipex in that plier drawer, you won't regret it. I've been doing this about the same time as you but flat rate. I think you got me beat on tools but not by much. I recently picked up a 60 inch used epiq for 4k.. not bad.

Great set up man....
Any time I had to cut or bend a wrench shop paid for it. I only had to custom make two or three and still have them
dude I thought that was a lightsaber 8:21 lol
GREAT Color!!! Master Series?
i bought the harbor freight long needle nosed plyers a while back. thinkin well if i like using them ill replace them with a better brand, butvi dont think i need to. they do work really well
That’s a lot of tools for 2 years of buying !
And you can beat on the Pittsburg stuff with out feeling to bad
What are the Part No. on your Snapon Deadblow Ballpean Hammer set
What type of wrench holders is those?
They are torx plusses thats why they do t fit they are just a hair bigger
👍 good video man
I did a toolbox tour too. I didn't that it can be used for insurance. Now I know. 🖒🖒 Your more than welcome to check out my toolbox tour. I like your toolbox and nice box.
I tried to find that sonex socket set kit online but couldn't find it? What's the part number?

Berta Boyz they sell all sunex tools you will have to scroll through
Why do you have that bosch impact driver and not the impact wrench model?
okay? why so mad?
what's the part number on that snap-on light. the one u said charges like a phone
James Scarborough I can't find it on the Internet but when I get back to work on Monday, I'll look it up and let you know....
James Scarborough ECFLED84GR
Should of left out not new for insurance purposes lol. Let them figure it out! But great vid!
SNESJedi hahaha true, good point
I got same but but simple red
You have insurance whats the address.
Where's all your electrical diag stuff ? ?
WEStTEXAs bought a power probe 3 a couple days after this video... but I get buy with a test light and mult-meter. And no reason to buy a scanner because half or more of the codes is Cat only or John Deere only
Hahaha that's my main go to electrical tool too, test light. Nice box by the way.
thanks
did you really call that slyde flashlight crap?
joker's junction it's good for 5 minutes till the batteries ,but it doesn't compare to the stream light
i use the one with triple a's. use it about 10 hours in two weeks time before batteries go out. you just can't beat the price to lumens ratio.
joker's junction your correct. the price is rediculious for what you get. since I bought the stream light nothing compares
Wrench killer!!

Doesent fit beacause cat uses torx plus
cross force from craftsman
I'd rather have it & not need it..then need it & not have it...American mechanics 👍
I hate to see people put junk tools in a Snap on tool box.. It should be against the Law!! Lol.
