I still have 1 Snap On 12mm Hex socket and a set of Blue Point Feeler gauges.4 years ago I was 85% SnapOn until I had a warranty issue. I told my driver don't bother ever stopping back.
I dont know your secret recipe to keep all your tools so clean so free of oil stained, even your soft Dewalt tool bags are so easy to stain the yellow fabric i do own more than a few , yours look brand new ,your tools like the screwdrivers you can still read the lettering on their handle wow your keep it all so very neat , and organised felicitation !
Gratz on those left handed calipers (7:00). I believe you, that they are an absolute necessity. I'm a rightie, but good function is neither, its always its own value, and an excellent habit to get into.
I like how you have silica packs in all of the draws. I have a ton of them in my gun safe, don't know why I never thought of putting them in my tool box. Great setup bud.
Thanks, I really don't know how much the silica packs help at preventing rust but I had a bunch of them and just tossed them in randomly. I will say going on 3 years with my current toolbox setup I haven't had any rust issues but my shop is climate controlled year around.
You have a very nice set up. I'm also a fan of the wrightgrip wrenches and I'm actually local to the Harry j Epstein store they are great people there and love to help you find what you're looking for.
Hi Mark, great video - thank you for taking the time and effort to film and share your experience with creating your tool box. Could you tell me which motorcycle chain breaker you are recommending, I could not get the name right, Happy Holidays to you and your family, Ciao, L
Mine is a RK chain tool kit. I've had mine 12+ years now and they don't make this exact model today. The new style has a fancy handle but otherwise the parts look identical to mine. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JKGJJL6/ref=s9_dcacsd_dcoop_bw_c_x_1_w
My opinion solidified when I thought I had a problem with a 1/4" torque wrench. I called their support, they connected me with one of the tool engineers, and he politely and patiently walked me through the issue and helped me figure out it was pilot error on my part. Really nice.
Mark couple questions 1 can you use oil additive like z max or slick 50 in your oil on motorcycle, wondering if it would screw up clutch pack. 2 wondering if you lubricate your open gear wright ratchets wonder if dirt and grime are major issue obviously you clean all your stuff. I love your tool tours.once again thanks for the great vids
I really don't know if any of those additives would have a negative effect on clutch packs or not but I personally don't believe in any magic additives for engines. I personally use Mobil1 15W-50 (car type) oil in every 4 stroke motorcycle I own. For ratchet lubrication I use Klotz assembly lube. I don't use any on the Wright open heads though, just a quick spray of Bosheild T9 for those.
John Gibson John Gibson avoid oil additive in motorcycle especially slick 50 I ruined a wet clutch set on two 4 wheelers ,.hope this is helpful .John Jaeger

Mark Fox do you have to buy the stand up trays separate for all your sockets ? I'm looking to setup my box and don't see any socket sets sold on those stand up trays.
The ones I have are labeled ML Tools and I purchased them on Amazon www.amazon.com/MLTOOLS-Pliers-Cutters-Organizer-Pro/dp/B016TU4P00/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_469_tr_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DQX6VD7XSXYKCFYQPH1Q
I think I identified them as Ernst www.amazon.com/dp/B015QCU9ES?psc=1 but after looking at my Amazon history mine are labeled Miltools brand www.amazon.com/MLTOOLS%C2%AE-Pliers-Cutters-Organizer-Pro/dp/B016TU4P00/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1472419644&sr=8-4&keywords=pliers+rack They appear to be identical either way and like I mention in the video they will need to be cut down to fit in shallow US General tool chest.
Howdy Mark! What do you think of those open head ratchets, what is the advantage to them if any? Do you have a email I can bug you about wright information and such =p
It's a disease. I always think I'm done purchasing then run across something and say " Damn, I can see myself using that. Unless I build a bigger shop I have absolutely no room for a larger box.
I know that feeling, I just spent 41 minutes of my life watching a video of another man's toolbox so that I can get ideas of what to buy next LOL. Anyway, I am just joking around with you you have a great collection and thanks for sharing!!
You got it all covered Mark. Sweet set up!! wicked wrench sets.
Great job of letting us look into your shop. Always fun and gives everyone ideas by looking at another Motorhead's stuff.

for those watching at home the stripped screw removal pliers are called Vampliers. I have some and love them, and they make several sizes.
I like how you have silica packs in all of the draws. I have a ton of them in my gun safe, don't know why I never thought of putting them in my tool box. Great setup bud.

Mark Fox I've never had rust issues either but I clean my tools after use as I'm sure you do, that may be a factor. But better safe than sorry!
I bought quite a few things from sunex lately and for the money you can't beat them
You have a very nice set up. I'm also a fan of the wrightgrip wrenches and I'm actually local to the Harry j Epstein store they are great people there and love to help you find what you're looking for.

+1 regarding Tekton becoming my go to choice as my value brand.
They do have some nice stuff at good prices with really good warranty service.

You need a bigger box so you have a reason to buy more tools LOL
I was looking last week at ways to trim it down some. I have a hard time of letting things go though.
Mark Fox Yeah but the fun part is buying the shiny new tools
It's a disease. I always think I'm done purchasing then run across something and say " Damn, I can see myself using that. Unless I build a bigger shop I have absolutely no room for a larger box.
