I like this idea but tell them to build their decks and the winner wins something to get them amped to win and build a good deck. Then say there is a surprise rule to be revealed after. Then after they build a bomb deck tell them the surprise rule is they have to swap decks with their opponents.

Congrats to Alex on winning the challenge! Definitely one of my favorite series of videos on youtube has been these deck challenges. Really looking forward to seeing the bracket play out. Paul got to get in on one of these though. Ascended of Thunder and Beast King Barbaros that Larry had are always strong powerhouses in my groups custom draft deck tin I made, would of loved to see them in action here. As a note about Larry it's good to use your attack on the facedown swarm of scarabs because that won't trigger scarabs effect since it requires a flip summon and is not a flip effect. I used to play swarm of locusts in the real old days as a way to deal with spell/trap cards back when it first came out. Love seeing lots of these old cards and plays like that remote revenge chain are exciting and why I love random lot deck duels so much. Thanks for the great video!

I think Larry should had attack the swarm of scarabs since the effect only activates on the flip summon and then should had placed rush recklessly facedown to wait for an attack but it was a great duel.
Man I love these! I was thinking maybe if after the first game, the remaining cards each opponent is left with they can trade cards from that pile to maybe make their decks a little stronger and maybe spice things up. Just a thought, but keep up the great work!

Okay here are a few tips/ideas to improve viewer entertainment: - let both players do a pseudo deck profile afterwards explaining their card choices - let us see more of the cards they unpack - ask them for the top 5 value cards they found inside their box - maybe a best of 3 is better. Some people dont mind if the video gets longer that way and it does not take too much editing - technical: in the beginning of the video the camera motions were really shaky

i love these deck building challenges. maybe it would be good to buy a set that you know has a little better cards. maybe a deck building challenge with better cards but its from one pile and they get to take one card each from the pile so they have to make a deck from the same pool of cards but no multiples of anything adding in some of the meta or atleast rokket, krawler etc.
Wait shouldn't Larry have normal'd Gene-Warped Warwolf and set RR, attacked into scarabs to remove them, then flipped RR when attacked by flame tiger? That way it removes two threats and you still have an extra body on board for tribute fodder next turn with the Stormforth and an opponent's monster

It like the editing style with a documentary / reality show vibe, but it still NEEDS MORE audio cues, jump cuts, special effects, and even behind the scenes shots to increase the level of cringe to unforeseen Yu-Gi-Oh levels. Keep it up guys.

We found single rounds to be more efficient.
