There was no "cheating" both were just simply unaware that Photon Sanctuary Tokens couldn't attack (or if they knew, both completely forgot). Paul would've done the same (re-watch the deck building portion of this challenge)... NOTE: By "cheating" I'm referring to its definitive act of "intentionally bending or misappropriating the rules to gain an advantage"...
Fatal 4 way. So like a tag duel with no teams. The twist being that you would each build another AWFUL deck and the decks would be randomly assigned to each contestant

Hell, the primary method of distinguishing real rare cards from fake ones is bending the top of it so that it touches the bottom half I've seen this done with cards that cost 20-ish grand

What is a good deck to learn coming back from a 5+ year break? Would like something that is not too over the top that takes 10 minutes for a single turn
If you want a tournament viable deck they're almost all like that lmao. I like learning a meta blue eyes, dark magician, or Elemental Hero deck could help familiarize old players to the modern game
@@Boristien405 I can attest to a Hero deck being easy to learn. I have an Elemental Hero deck that isn't quite Meta, but isn't far off. I can usually fusion in under 3 turns, but the monster effects are all very straightforward. Simple searches and revives to keep your field full or get your cards needed in hand. Overall they are very fun and easy to get a hold of.
This was really interesting and even tho Paul was winning most of the time and I was rooting for Paul I still thought for sure at some point the tables would turn and Paul would lose 😂😂 damn good game guys!

My first thought was Jam Breeding Machine and Wetlands. After watching, it definitely seems like life point gain was the way to go with Cauldron of the Old Man. Of course, the Photon Sanctuary tokens can't attack, and Spell Absorption gains life points when either player uses spells.

My friend Michael had a deck that had no monsters and would win at CMgames against everyone back in like 2014-2015. I wish I could remember what the deck was, it was amazing.
My favorite thing about Yu-Gi-Oh is that it's Turin-complete. This means that this simple card game is so mathematically fluid, that you can actually use it to write a computer program. No I don't mean a Yu-Gi-Oh game, or even a robot that can play Yu-Gi-Oh (although both are possible), I mean an actual program, like a calculator or a Random Number Generator.

Awesome as always. How about a challenge where one player uses no effect monsters whatsoever. Just Normal monsters and spells and traps that specifically only work for normal monsters. Against a deck ENTIRELY made of effect monsters.
I remember that there was one duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX who's entire deck consisted of Magic cards (and probably some Trap cards) and no monsters. This video just how viable such a deck can be.

Don't forget armory call. You will literally never normal summon, so it's down side is irrelevant. Super powerful with power of the guardians.

This is actually one of my favourite videos from aps
I used to run a Final Countdown + Wave-Motion Cannon stall deck. Worked quite well with damage negating mons and traps en protection traps.
You could hear how Alex was dying inside.

On duel links I actually use a trap card only deck with Uria, Lord of searing flame. And it's pretty good. Not op but works.
2:11 bulk storage boxes like these are rated for sports cards which are indeed thicker than TCG cards, so you are correct about why you can fit more.

I had an all spell deck with jam breeding machine, wetlands, and united we stand....bunch a searchers and hand destruction cards. Did pretty good.

Psychic Blade is useful for spell only duels. You can use it with One Time Passcode for a 4K beatstick.
