And Aisling recalls her long days working as an elf and why we need to really show more love to the unsung hero of the holidays. After, Nicholas tells James about a very, very unfortunate incident when he dove in face first to a scene filming this season of "The Great."

Growing up to an Irish mother and American father in America, my mother would constantly say how horrified she was of American behavior and comedy.
Im obsessed with stand up and have been my whole life. She was always telling me how much more respectful Irish people are over us.
Nothing and i mean NOTHING brought be more pleasure than asking my mother to watch a stand up comic from Ireland. She had this sense of pride when i handed her my phone to watch Aisling.
She went from extreme pride to absolute horror and I was in my glory! Thank you, Aisling for helping me remove my mothers stuck up attitude from her arse!!!!!!

I had the unfortunate task of being one of the Santa's at 'Santa's Kingdom' when the wee obnoxious Irish t**t brought it over to Wembley Arena in the early 2000s. It got totally trashed on GMTV for being utterly unethical so I scarped after my Christmas Eve shift. BTW, elves wages were £350p/w for all the hours under the sun & the Santa's wage's were £450p/w for approximately 15 hours p/w. Our "Head" Santa was the dude who played the dad character alongside Linda Bellingham in the 80s/90s OXO ads. Bit of a grumpy poo if you ask me!

I didn't think James was getting the humor in Aisling's wonderful storytelling. Maybe he was too long in LA at that stage. However I could be wrong as I felt the audience got the humor in her story.

She's been on just about every comedy panel game ever, and we do a lot of them, and is also a very good actor. Check her out on Taskmaster. Hilarious. I know that does not make her British but I think she's been here long enough to forgive someone who thinks she is.. and she's a nice person. She'd never be aggressive toward someone's easily made mistake. What is wrong with everyone nowadays.
