- Tomorrow the British people head to the ballot box and the election result seems already decided. After 14 years in opposition, the Labour Party led by Keir Starmer is set to win a majority government. The Conservative Party led by Rishi Sunak is headed for certain defeat. Underneath it all is the rise of Nigel Farage and the Reform Party who have emerged as a legitimate threat to the Tory party. Farage and the Reform Party represent the only true conservative nationalist alternative in the race and are set to make a major dent in the vote totals tomorrow.
Joining Harrison Faulkner on the Faulkner Show to preview tomorrow's UK election is the US correspondent for GB News Steven Edginton.

I am beginning to suspect we Canadians are being played for suckers not unlike the British people that believed as we do that the conservatives are our salvation.
I think it was true before Pierre, or better before Freedom Convoy that actually shaken up Conservative Party. Yes, Pierre doesn't really touch this issue (yet), but he would be absolutely crazy to go down the same route as the UK Conservatives. He's too careful to speak when it comes to controversial issues, but he already said in French that he's against mass immigration. I think he will be good for Canada, he's from the Harper's school. He's not fake conservative.
However, if there was no Freedom Convoy, then O'Toole would still be the leader and probably also leading a lot in polls and we would be all hopeful for change from the Liberals. But then it wouldn't be a real change. And it would be as depressing situation as in UK. So, that's how Freedom Convoy was consequential, if Pierre is actually what he seems to be.

Canada had two Indian defence ministers. That is VERY، VERY dangrous !!! I am a Canadian and spoke to our US brothers and told them to PLEASE protect us. It is VERY dangrous for Canada to have those Indians in defence!!!!!!!.
It's funny as it's the same in Canada on "who built Canada." It is being rewritten now that it was built by the natives and not the founders and permanent settlers of Canada.
Ask yourself if you care about actual history in Canada and if so at the minimum email you MLA, MP, and provincial and federal education ministers demanding history be held to a hard fact base standards and not to just allow "unfounded stories" to rewrite it all. Especially in places like BC, they are teaching kids in grade schools they are settlers and unwanted and unwelcome.
Either sit on the sidelines and let it all happen or, at the minimum, send messages, emails, and call them.

It's the fall of the west. The more I look into this, the more it seems to be by design when you look at the parties and similarities on certain things and the "differneces" between them it doesn't seem too far of a stretch.
I could be wrong on this, but even look at Canada. There aren't massive miles between the parties. I am positively optimistic with the change of guard in Canada, and hopefully, from BC this Ocotover to Canada, at the federal level, it's a sweeping conservative win, and they keep to all they say and shrink government drastically, rework and axe taxes, bring accountability and transparency.
I'm optimistic but not blind to the realities of the backroom staffers and behind the scenes players that are playing their game here as well and what we've been seeing over the last 9 years.
Here's to hoping good things to come but one thing's for sure, time tells all.

UK Conservative party is like the post Harper, pre Poilievre Conservative party of Canada. We'll see if he keeps his promises, time will tell but they still haven't won my vote. Still voting PPC in a safe Conservative rural riding.
Look at what a sell out Doug Ford ended up being, especially on covid response.
There is no net benefit in talking about "white" vs X. There are countless millions of non-whites who have massively contributed to both the UK and Canada. The question is reasonable numbers to allow for proper, generational enculturation. A politically smart speaker will talk in terms of 'capacity' and also in terms of how mass migration doesn't help the receiving country OR THE PEOPLE migrating.
There is no Canada or western civilisation as a whole without western people. Period. Whites are the only race being demonized and discriminated against. It’s perfectly good and indeed, NEEDED to call out this antiwhiteism. Anyone of any race should be doing this.
Here in Canada we still have enough room for the levels of immigration we’ve been taking, but I personally would like to see at least some European immigrants, like Ukrainians and British. Indians are already 7% of Canada’s population, do we really need to jack it up to 10%? Why?

@@bensanderson7144 hey if Canada wants to impose a cap on how much people come from each country it’s a fair ask, US does that so their country is not filled by people from just one country, don’t bring in a persons colour to it. The truth is no one from a 2nd world country like Britain, Australia or any other white country where there is an equivalent lifestyle would want to come to something similar. For them Canada isn’t offering anything better from what they already have, so there’s no incentive to come here. The housing prices are crazy all over the developed world, there are a lack of jobs as well, white people think brown people stole their jobs, brown people think the jobs are going to black people and other LGBTQ++ communities, and black people feel everyone is stealing from them.
@@rohitguptac yes I agree with you, and in BC where I live many Indians have contributed a lot and become successful in law, medicine and politics, so I’m happy for that. I just don’t think only one group should be allowed in, that’s all. For some reason Canada is taking in almost only Indians. Why not Ukrainians? I mentioned British because one day soon they will be a poor country and the young people will want to leave as Canada is going to overtake Britain in terms of wealth and opportunity. But I’d also like to see more Filipinos, too.
