    Love my 2024 Prius. It gets 55+ mpg and it is quick. Always get compliments.

    ~$23 for 600 miles is unbeatable, plus it finally looks great.
    The one UNIQUE thing I just noticed in your video is that the front wheel wells make up about 75% of the circumference of an entire circle. Interesting.

    @Bonanzaking Месяц назад +6

    The only downside I’ve had with the newer Prius is the fact the car was lowered enough that you tend to scrape on driveways.

      Woah. That comment just made me change my decision

    • @Bonanzaking
      @Bonanzaking 14 дней назад +1

      @@brians5650 it’s a nuisance more than anything. When approaching a steep driveway, fairly large speed bump or dip you have to drive it the way you would drive a slammed sports car. Slow and at an angle. One possible fix might be raising the suspension an inch or 2.

    Just find one on the lot to be able to buy already, should be the title. Find one for MSRP or under will be a bigger miracle.

    The slope of that A-pillar makes for a major headache getting in and out of the front seat. We had second and third generation versions of the Prius in our family, so, I immediately noticed the difference when I set in a friend's new one. Check that before buying.

    • @Bonanzaking
      @Bonanzaking Месяц назад

      It’s not as much of a headache if you’re on the younger side.

    I love what toyota did with this car. I always HATED the prius and now it's evolved into something attractive. I'd love to see how the hybrid performs

    Hey Ben, you exhaled in pain getting into the back seat, and the extreme rake of the windshield is over the top. And you can get a Camry LE hybrid for $7,000 less.

      Six to nine months...............wish. We got our 2024 Prime in March of this year, 21 months after we ordered a 2022. And, it was the wrong colour. But, it was worth the wait and when we finally saw the pearl paint in person, we forgot all about the red one we asked for. After 4,500 miles we have burned less than 2 tanks of gas. Definitely, go with the Prime version.

    I'm fed up with Toyota. In Canada, the Prius is like Bigfoot, you always hear about them, but never see them at dealers. Even the Corolla hybrid are few and far in between. I think Toyota chooses to ship most to the US as they make more profit.

    • @TomLawlor-iq6gm
      @TomLawlor-iq6gm 2 месяца назад

      We ordered a Prime in 2022. In March of 2024 a 2024 pitched at the dealers lot. 21 months.
      When we finally got the keys the sales Rep told us that the wait for a Prime was now 3 years. That explains why, after the new style was introduced in late 2022, we have seen only three others (besides ours). on the road. This is our third Prius and we love it even more than the first two. Toyota would sell a load of these if they could produce them.

      @@BenHardyCars We've owned both a 3rd Gen and a Model C Prius. Both excellent cars with impressive milage and mechanical soundness that saw us through 16 stressless years. But, our 2024 Prime is a big step ahead. For all intents and purposes, it is an EV (for our situation). After 7,200Km (4,500 m), we have spent less than two tanks of gas. Hard to describe it, but that feeling of zooming around our little town in EV Mode with only the tire sound is incredible. Incredible.
      We're lucky here as we received a $5,000 rebate from the two levels of government. In some provinces the rebate is $8,500, making a Prime cheaper than a regular Prius for residents. Why can't governments be that sensible with all things...............

    This car looked interesting when it first came out in 2022. But now that the hype and novelty wore off, it just looks like another mid car that every dork drives. Post nut clarity is real.

      Ya, but "guys" that drive a Prius do get "dates" with smart, sensible non "gold digger", potential partners. Those "dates" tend to pan-out for even longer than a Prius lasts.
      My wife and me currently share our third Prius.
