Hi everyone! Sorry we are way late on the uploading of this 2025 Sienna. As you can imagine we have had a ton of hurricane prep to so. Thank you for all your kind messages and thoughts about us!
Great job Lori !! Great camera skills. This video once again proved why I like Toyota, absolute awesome review with great info. Very direct and to the point 👍🏼
My 2021 Toyota Sienna Hybrid has been running flawlessly at 102k miles with absolutely zero issue and average 34-37 mpg per tank. My previous Toyota Sienna had been the 2005 3.3L V6 that had driven past 350K miles without any major issues in 19 years of extremely dependable daily service only traded in because wanting technology upgrade and Hybrid fuel efficiency.
We have a 2013 Sienna, and we are debating finally getting this version. How is power wise when loaded up? That’s my only concern. The mpg is unbeatable!
I remember my mom had a 2002 sienna for almost 20 years before some jerk in a Silverado did a hit and run. Personally, these new siennas just don’t look as good as the old one I grew up with but I can’t deny the practicality
My brother in law is selling his 2008 Sienna for dirt cheap to us but we just don't like that look. If I am going to drive a Sienna, I have to like how it looks. Anything from 2014 and newer looks great. Even though if it doesn't have 8 screens, 10 cup holders and USB chargers, if it's not a Toyota I don't care. Toyota has been extremely reliable to us.
I'll pick the Carnival. It doesn't have AWD on any trim, btw. But in NC just have good tires and you're fine. Most people don't need AWD. Just have good tires.
I have once driven a minivan Joe and they have great Utility. I am sure a family could appreciate. I do not have a family, but have a dog and I am sure she can live in luxury in such a van. Its lovely. With best wishes. Sonal
Just got a brand new 2024 Sienna LE trim. Has everything my wife and I are looking for. Came with the LE package so a wireless charger and sunroof (don’t care much for this). Although Siennas are super hard to obtain in the Northeast, I am so glad I was able to get one. The best part is the remote start so you can warm your car up before heading out in the cold weather. Also, super easy for my mother to get in and 3rd row is very comfortable.
JJ - stay in TX. for a few more days & let Hurricane Milton pass - we want you guys to be safe because we love you, we're a part of the Raiti's family/
Have a 10,15,23 Sienna and they are great vans. However I don't like how the newest Sienna don't have a Blu-Ray/SD system for the entertainment center.
My oldest was 8 yrs old when i decided on a mini van, i dont know why it took so long. Best road trip vehicle period. We can fit weeks worth of nonsense and never have to worry about gas.
Haha. This is the exact colour of my 2021 Sienna. Love it; great on gas and all wheel drive, great for the winter weather up here in Canada. Thanks Joe.
Nice to see that the cameras and 360 surround view definitely WERE upgraded even though TSS 2.0 was not. The reason why the captains chairs are not removable is that airbags are built INTO the chairs. It’s to avoid accidental airbag deployment during removal.
I would say the Kia Carnival is the more modern and lavish ride over the Toyota in it's top trim. The downside with the kia is the dual function of the Ac/ audio controls.
Rented a 2024 a few weeks ago (no other cars available). Not really a minivan guy but the mileage was great. My only complaint was that the EV only mode shuts off at 20 mph which is not quite ideal for city driving.
The children cleaning up after themselves thing is so correct, and I agree even though I am a child, too. I just think that doing what’s right is best.
Good video and thanks !! Just aware the 2025 seems cancelled the middle row heated seats or may be your location do not need it. I live in up north and remember they have it in model 2024.
Probably because they cheaped out on modifying the exterior and the safety system which is a lot more than the interior updates they did. In addition, the demand is still strong so they don't care to match competition. Interesting, Kia also split their system based on grades... only on SX do you get their Highway assist 2.0 whereas below they get 1.0.
My wife and I love your reviews. When you get the Carnival Hybrid, check out the 2nd row manual seat fold speed vs those entertainment screens. They smack those screens like a mantis shrimp.
Unusual measurement units, chicken drums, M&M bags, different US snacks and stuff like that, very practical and can get into the uneducated mind, and kind of international, no need to translate it, 👍
In Dec, '24 I bought a '19 Odyssey Elite. 100k miles, same v-6 & 10 speed automatic as new for 26k. For 31k less I'll be alright w/ front wheel drive, only 1 motor instead of 3, and 20mpg. Oh, & mines paid for.
I can't wait to pick up my 25" platium trim, the reason I went with the limited trim on my 21" Sienna is the dark brown leather on platium trim, love the two tones leather seats
I have a 21 Sienna and was hoping this update would include more power. I find the hybrid 4 cyl is a little weak. The updated screens and reclining mid row are nice, but not enough to justify an upgrade.
Looking to upgrade from my classic 2004 Sienna LE (206,000 miles), which I still LOVE to drive, and is in excellent shape. Planned to update the entertainment system with Apple Car Play compatible. Hard to part with its cheap insurance and registration, not to mention low maintenance!
Great review! Surprised that you didn't mention anything about the white 6-wheeled Jeep that was next to you on the road. Never seen one like that before.
waited 3 months for a platinum. used the toyota inventory website to find one. for extended warranty call midwest toyota and ask for the warranty manager
Thanks for the complete demo. I was looking at this for carrying, as you mentioned, Band and DJ sound equipment. I am concerned about not having a flat surface to load equipment in the back. Is that correct? Do those middle row seats come out, or at least one of them? Thx for your great work.
My question is how does it perform on road trips with all the kids and luggage that's what I want to see how much miles you get on a full tank on a road trip because I travel alot and that would be a selling point on my end
Great review. As I am in the market to get a bigger car to haul my 15 kids 😂😂 jokes aside, pretty much a larger vehicle for all the points you mentioned. And this van does check off a lot of boxes. It’s just…. I don’t like minivans 😅😅 but I do like Toyotas hybrid system, and I like how they finally upgraded in interior and have more modern tech unlike the previous model. This review may be my deciding factor in getting one
I am going for a Sienna when my family grows in number. I love the design of this car. It actually look so stylish and not refoecing the expected "vanny" look. It already captures me 😅 For now with one kid, it's will keep cruising my great RAV4💯 I love your review and special shout to your Camera awesome lady 💯👍 You forgot to mention the functionality of the HDMI port from the 2nd row 🤷🏼♂️
@26:14 The reason why is because Chrysler was smart and patented their stow and go seats and roof racks. IMO they take the cake. This Sienna is nice, but I love my Grand Caravan. It's like having a pickup truck with a roof and I don't have to lift any heavy seats out.
I'm sure many others will agree, but Sienna is so much smoother than Chrysler not to mention it doesn't seem reliable. The older rentals are all in such poor shape. Engines don't sound smooth. Toyota drones a lot but at least it's still a smooth ride.
@@dailyrant4068I dunno, so far mine has 105,000KMS and it's 5 years old. No major issues. I prefer the geared transmission because of the towing capability. My last company had older Grand Carvans and we beat the hell out of them. Late oil changes, overloading them with weight etc.. They all reached over 200,000kms with that abuse. Sometimes I wonder if certain companies put out negative rumors of other companies to prop themselves up. My buddy had a 2004 Corolla, and the belt tensioner bolt broke off twice in the engine block. Same friend had a Honda Accord and the transmission failed while still on lease. They aren't as perfect as people say... Sometimes it comes down to the maintenance people don't do.
@@Universal.G There's no rumor here. I was speaking both from personal experience and friends experience. Pacifica is 99% the minivan you're getting from rental companies if you rent a minivan. I've gotten ONE Sienna (by luck). I'm not necessarily saying Pacifica is going to break down all the time, I'm just saying it's just not smooth like Japanese minivans once it's been used a bit.
"...holding your balls in your hand" gets you a PG-13 rating! To me the Sienna was the benchmark of it's class. I'm sure this unit will continue the tradition. Great car.

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my 2025 Sienna XSE AWD at MSRP with no undesirable dealer add-ons! I'm going to enjoy the updated infotainment and digital gauge cluster.
Seems like a lot of dealers are doing that this year... I started seeing 2024 at MSRP and now even the 2025 are at MSRP. Must be the state of the economy
@@dailyrant4068 End of the year so there are deals to be had, I have seen some 2024s go under MSRP as well (although they were full decked out top end models). And also with the current market, slowly it is coming back to MSRP and hopefully deals off MSRP too.
Very nice look at a very nice mini van. Had they been like this when I HAD to drive one. It might not have been so humiliating. I may have even been able to pass it off as cool. Noooo. The last cool vans had mag rims and diamond windows.
I think the 2025 Sienna is #1. The combination of its frugal hybrid drive with AWD, and with Toyota's legendary reliability and durability makes it so. I see two drawbacks only. The price, it's very expensive, starting at over $40,000, and hitting $60,000 for the top trim. The other drawback is poor visibility to the back due to the very wide C and D pillars. The third row side window is tiny, as is the back window. Why?

@@KriticullCTRL is this your first encounter with an opinion? We usually agree or disagree *respectfully* with those and move on about our day.
I agree with OP. I wish the styling was more like the older siennas, there's no reason why a sienna needs a huge grill that's mostly plastic anyway
