Judging and Rating Every EA Build in the Sims 3 Bridgeport

- Bridgeport has more builds than any other sims 3 world we've seen...
IMAGINE renting an apartment that has a GREEN BATHROOM, i would not survive that catastrophe
building in the sims 3 is far more tedious than what we are used to in the sims 4, so I decided instead to rate and judge every house that the EA developers built instead of building new ones myself
thanks for watching, please like and subscribe if you enjoyed it!

thanks to everyone who has been tuning in, this has been a lot of fun x - Игры
I always interpreted vampires having a normal bedroom as a facade especially since in the apartments the vampire beds are usually put in almost closet locations/sized areas
Yes that makes perfect sense to me
Also, you gotta have a double bed to woohoo in x)
Not if u have a hot tub haha
The Sims Lore has a pretty cool video explaining why Polly Malone lives on the basement! Love your videos as always
I love that channel she is much better at researching than I am 😅
I actually remember reading somewhere that art deco was partially influenced by egyptian motifs and designs so ea’s “egyptian deco” is accurate to what you’d see in some real life art deco architecture from the 1920-30s
I even cut my recording, googled “Egyptian deco” and it didnt explain anything, just golden cat statues with hieroglyphics haha
@@Rekowcski Yeahh I think the term “egyptian deco” was probably made up by ea but I see what they were going for! lol
I understand... sometimes I make up words too haha
I love this series. Its making me want to play TS3 RIGHT NOW lol.
Me too haha.:p
From expansions packs, Moonlight Falls is definitely a favorite! And from the store, Lunar Lakes & Lucky Palms are beautiful! 🌷
Lucky Palms was fun to review... I love the world as a whole, some gorgeous scenery and shells, but there some questionable choices inside
Moonlight falls would be fun too, I've never played with supernatural stuff in sims 3, but those houses are totally my style
Your critiques are hilarious and great. You are also totally right these BIG houses it is like they just dropped in the basic furniture to mark what they meant the room to be and nothing more.
I love polly. She’s a sweetie and she’s great for rags to riches. She has two decent stragedies to get rich but it takes time. She has a guitar so she can become a musician fairly easily. But also her traits hopeless romantic and bookworm makes her a great author. Like the most profitable books at level five of writing.
so true! I made her the founder of my legacy and she's now an elder and owner of half the city, all while making 98k royalties a week from her books and earning a high salary since she's at the top of the journalism career. it feels nice to do the rag to riches with her and give her a nice house and family
The questionable color choices continues 😂 I do love the storytelling with the struggling sims apartments though, really good. I love Bridgeport so much but I've not bothered much with most of the pre-mades so I've never seen most of these builds. The rich old ladies apartment with the grandson is probably the most disappointing: too small and doesn't reflect the sims very well, very boring.
In sims 3 o usually play my own single family bc the world progresses around me so I am the same way. Sims 2 I do the opposite, I play every premade in a set order haha
I agree. That was the lamest in terms of concept execution. They could have made a beautiful classic six or something.
So many of my dreams died in the hills of Bridgeport. I just remember all the beautiful
Mansions I’d want to plop down to replace those eyesores with and the way they had the terrain 😭😭😭
I actually love the Malone tower, the exterior of the building is really nice, and the apartment fits very nicely with the story they want to tell, so I would rate it a solid 9
My favorite is Monte Vista, I enjoy a lot of builds and Sims there.
Monte Vista is beautiful to play in, I love that Mediterranean style and it's so beautiful at sunrise and sunset
That brownstone is such a creative idea and they really missed the mark... Literally scooch that roof over by one tile and it would look so much better!
One thing that's odd is that it's clearly implied that this is the last building of it's kind in the neighborhood, but I'm a but surprised that they didn't include some older medium density builds or some family homes from that era. I would imagine those old starlet twins to have a big mansion in between two skyscrapers or a couple more third story occupants rather than 30+ story occupants. Maybe even just one more older brownstone that's clearly lost its luster or been added onto in a tacky way?
I agree with you. I love brownstones so much, and I would love more smaller apartment buildings too, but at least they gave us some houses and smaller buildings. I also think that they could have utilized penthouses better for a city world.
the moonlight falls houses are my favorite!! im so happy to see how fast your channel is growing and how many people love these videos!!
Thanks so much it means the world to me x
I miss playing this back when I was a kid, I think I spent 80% of playing Sims 3 in this city. Do World Adventures next
I just discovered your channel and my god, I love this series. I think you're genuinely an amazing RUclipsr, keep it up!!
welcome! i'm so glad you're enjoying it x
Yay, new video! Ah, I was enjoying a lot of the houses, I will say with the evil vampire dude house though, I think the normal bedroom is there to kind of like 'blend in' when he brings home victims. What took me out of it was the complete lack of curtains or blinds, seems dangerous for him, also in the vampire ladies house. Thanks so much for the video, they're always awesome!
The zero curtains/blinds I didn’t notice, but that’s something picky me would harp on. Thank you for watching, you guys keep me going
I just wanted to thank you for your video's. I have watched these videos over and over cause I have been completely rebuilding (and expanding) Bridgeport for years (no visible rabitholes and custom high rises) and it is getting close to being finished. Your video's of the interiors helped me so much to keep the pace or rebuild/ rework/ the apartments (no worries, IF I use Green in the bathrooms it is in a classy way) and I am getting back to it again. I feel that without your videos I might have dropped the city even trough it is and always has been my favorite city (even trough mine has more of a city feel but I am deeply biased lol) so thank you again and keep the videos coming! (maybe look into EA's commercial lots to pretty please? ) Oh on a side note, There was a Egyptian revival in the art deco era (20's-30's) not strictly a part of the Art deco (witch came as a geometric counter to the floral based Art Nouveau) but more of a separate bit but that is just me as an interior designer geeking out ;-) it was pretty trough!
Thank you that means a lot
I would assume pianos being everywhere would be due to the reason that unlike sims 1 and sims 2, sims 3 base game had no pianos, they were brought into the game with late night.
So as far as I know Bridgeport is the only world with pianos in it
Hmmm I never noticed that. Pianos just seem like a base game staple, but with ea who knows
@@Rekowcski The guitar replaced it in the base game it seems, so it's more common to find those in EA worlds
I was waiting for this video, yay! The pool of the first house looks really cool.
I'm glad you got to see it right away, thanks for watching, it's a long one grab a drink x
Taking on Bridgeport is no easy feat! Appreciate you being up for the challenge! I would like to see Roaring Heights or Dragon Alley next if you have the worlds! P.S. Do you have a patreon? Would love to support!
Dragon Valley would be interesting to do because then I would be upset with boring normal houses instead of being thankful for them.
That’s super kind of you, but not necessary. I don’t have a patreon yet however soon I should hit 1000 subs and then I can sort out all that money stuff x
Bridgeport was the first wold I played in once I got all the expansion packs, I set it to always winter and played a private eye sim. Lots of fun. That 'wharf' area with its really bad terrain sculpting drives me nuts though, lol. Not a lot of aesthetic similarities but I live a few towns over from Bridgeport Connecticut so that's what I'm always reminded of
Sunset Valley will always be the most nostalgic world for me though, I don't think any of the fan updates/remakes of it over the years have captured the same spirit for me. A lot of the builds there are janky but I think that's part of the appeal for me
I have lived in big cities my whole adult life so the whole suburban world never worked for me, I often played on Bridgeport in university because everyone I knew had apartments in real life.
this was so much fun to watch!
I said ‘yay!’ Out loud when I saw this video!! I’ve watched the other ones a few times lol. I love seeing all the builds like this.
They’re super fun to make as well, I get to discover a few things that I think most players have never noticed or seen before. Thanks for watching x
I just discovered this channel and am so happy people are still making The Sims 3 content! I love Bridgeport so much. And you are so cute damn!
thank you, fellow sims, pokemon and pop music fan x
once again the late nights are worth it, I was waiting for this video
It would have been 2 hours earlier but I made a boo boo at the 25 min mark and had to do the export and upload all over :/
enjoy, thanks for watching x
Your content is so unique! 🧡
best compliment ever, you made my day x
i hope you enjoyed the video!
I love to rewatch this series.
Another great Sims 3 video. You seem like you've been playing the sims for a while now so you may already know this but just in case you didn't...If you go to the sims 3 store and register the game key for the Base Game and the World Adventures expansion pack, each registration will give you 1000 sim points. It just so happens that 2000 sims points is the price of another EA town called 'Hidden Springs'. Maybe this could be future content for your channel?
I already used all those up haha... Hidden Springs seems to be the one that has the best lore as far as I can tell by the synopsis, I think it's also the richest so maybe we will get some pretty mansions x
I love this series. Could you pleasseeeee do the builds without families? 🤩
Bridgeport was my favourite world in the Sims 3 , but EA realese Aurora Skies and Monte Vista and i was inloved to these two worlds.
I think monte vista is one of the best worlds and literally no one talks about it :/
“A TORTURE ROOM” took me out 😂😂
I forget this video but I remember it was either exercise equipment, or cow print.
Or both
(Yes I'm having a marathon catch up today of your channel, home relaxing). I hate big cities alot so I've never played them or even explored them. Grew up in California near beach and close to go to mountains so I just realized that I've only been choosing towns based on this. I hate this town but am watching your other videos with an open mind now
I grew up in Niagara Falls so it's like vineyards and casinos, no sims world is like that (yet) haha
EA just loves them a pale green room
it's their favourite vice
Heyy, new sub here! Absolutely love your videos and i can see you put a lotta effort in them.
A tiny request; Can you do the uninhabited lots too? back in Sunset Valley?
if not, maybe a viewer building reviews would be cool, if course its not upto my decision but just wanted to give you the idea i have since i watched all your ranking series in one go! lol
Hello and welcome! I can’t believe you can tolerate me talking for that long haha
So for the unoccupied lots... I’m thinking of doing them for ALL worlds after we do the occupied lots, but the first one will be sunset valley for sure (I plan to do the worlds in the same order that I did the occupied lots)
I would love to judge viewer builds too, so many people comment that they aren’t confident enough but it would be good to just show how I personally think they could be improved.
Thanks again, welcome to my tiny corner of the Internet x
@@Rekowcski just shut up i watch your videos until the very end. And truly i can't tolerate myself not watching you when im bored and get stuck with YT Shorts.
I am an experienced builder and i would love to send you one of my first builds so i can listen to the roast lol. Just can't understand your hatred for green but i still love it!
Also over the couple of days of following you and being literally obsessed to watch your videos, i get the vibes of bottom gay who is the funniest in friend groups which you beg them to come with you to the meet ups and they always have better plans (playin sims lol).
During a whole ass pandemic it is truly a need to talk to someone and you have the cozy friend feeling i can never find.
that's kind of you... I will be asking for builds at some point for one thing or another so stick around
Its almost like they mixed up a lot of the apartments and houses and gave them to the wrong sim
That’s totally possible.. it’s ea after all haha
honestly i love bridgeport but i think just because it’s a city lol. i ALWAYS was renovating the apartments and building my own little lots near the coast
Apartments are my favourite to play in so I will still be in Bridgeport x
I think the basement in Celluloid Heights is supposed to be a speakeasy.
Can you do Aurora Skies next? They have some beautiful architecture here, and the town itself is very atmospheric.
People have been talking about this one, don’t worry I’ll add it to the next community poll so people can vote for it to be next x
@@Rekowcski I'll try not to miss it then :)
Your videos arrived in Brazil, say hi to a Brazillian new fan
hello! So glad you are enjoying it x
I hope you do Starlight Shores next! One of my favorite worlds
Showtime is one of my guilty pleasures, but I only know the starter homes well. It would be interesting to see EA’s take on celebrity mansions in the sims 3 haha
No because what’s up with green everything? I need to know lol. But something that I’ve been loving to do lately is renovating all the Bridgeport apartments! Very questionable design choices, but it’s nothing I can’t fix. 😂
It’s unreal. Maybe 1 out of ever 5 bathrooms is white (the colour of 99% of toilets in real life) but 3 out of 5 are some bizarre colour you haven’t seen since childhood
i remember watching romeo rake get demoted from level 8 or 9 of the secret agent line down to traffic cop 😂
Can’t wait for moonlight falls! 🙌🏼
it will be option 1 on the next poll, thanks for tuning in
I read somewhere that the layout is based on Vancouver, BC. The bridge kind of reminds me of Pittsburgh.
I thought it was Seattle but basically the same as Vancouver. Both like their bridges, though they aren’t as big as the Bridgeport one.
@@Rekowcski I live near Seattle. Bridgeport is definitely supposed to be in the Pacific Northwest.
I alwayyyyys played in Bridgeport. Like, I barely remember the other worlds.
I have a fun idea but idk if its to hard to pull off, you make an empty world with the world editor tool. Then, any subscriber that wants to, makes a house for that world so eventually you can tour a world full of your subscribers houses and rate them
you can also just use an empty existing world you dont really need to make the world btw
I use an empty world called "deery meadows" mysimrealty.com/EMPTYWORLDS_DeeryMeadows.html
but I would love to try to learn create-a-world. i've actually been working on my own original sims 2 hood, but I think this is a great idea once that's done!
they thought they could hide that green bathroom at the crib!!!
I would love to see a ranking of the houses in sharm el simla😍
That would be super cool, I’ll add it to the next poll x
In short, if there is blood red and black = Vampires!
I does look like they use the similar items from the pack over and over again and pretty often it doesn't make sense. I still love this world though!
I think the reason why the mansions are nearly empty is for performance reasons, my gaming laptop used to lag on this world so bad.
That makes sense... but I would still love, say, an end table in the dining room haha
@@Rekowcski Fair, you’re hardly asking for all the bells and whistles 😂
This makes me want to play ts3 again 😭😭😭
The apartment with the old ladies and teen in it I think it was considered to be a Luxury apartment when the old ladies were much much younger, hence the style. But I love this series
Bridgeport is so awesome. Love it. But the interiors are interesting..
There's a better brownstone in the Edit world Bin. Please do a video about the Bin houses. 🙏
now that you say it bridgeport does remind me of Vancouver too
its the "bridge" in the name 😭
@@Rekowcski oh yeah It did that again my annoying as hell autocorrect is having a mind of its own again
God I love the sims 3 :') I've tried so many times to switch over to the sims 4 but I just cannot leave this game behind.
Not just because of my save games which span literal years worth of playtime and generations, but because of all the features that the sims 3 provided that the sims 4, despite being eight (8!) years old, just don't have.
I can't even list them all because this comment would be waaaay too long, but in consideration of the video, I'll say two words: OPEN WORLD. thank you and good night
Thank you and I completely agree!
FINALLY ITS HERE!!!!
It sure it! Haha, enjoy love x
Roaring heights, hidden springs, and lucky palms. Please
i wonder why the darn good clubs and bars in the trailer arent in the game xD
the radtech in me was so happy to see a dark room, i mean, most hospitals doesn’t even have one anymore
Such a fun detail! I was surprised haha
Bridgeport looks so bright on your game and dull on mine. Are you using a mod?
BrntWaffles makes the lighting mod I use. They make different kinds just choose one and pop it in your game to see how it looks. You can always switch it out or remove it if you don’t like it
please do a sunlit tides or isla paradiso vid
I love isla paradiso, I've never played sunlit tides but it looks gorgeous
Air spray was so empty omg
Do you use any mod for the colours of the scenery? Bridgeport never looked so warm in my game
Try a lighting mod by “brntwaffles” I think that’s the main thing I do
Honestly that first house is a generous 3 lol. It’s way too big and empty. And the fact that the wallpaper in the dining room randomly changes halfway through the window placement makes no sense to me.
"a generous three" hahaha
yeah well if u dont like 2 ugly wallpapers mixed together then i dont know why you are looking at EA houses :p
Crib is like Elton John's house if he were a sim.
I love Elton but my goodness his look to beyond my comprehension
Grand Pianos came with Late Night, that's why they're in every other build
Ok I KNOW the last time I played in Bridgeport I started with the couple at Celluloid Heights (around 16:00) and I did NOT know there was a weird basement omfg. It's a younger woman and her sugar daddy living there.....what a surprise that he's got a special club in the basement 💀
i'm glad you got to see a house you were familiar with.. haha yes it's funny to see what secrets theyre hiding!
I like to imagine the sims for the richer houses designed it themselves, and you're just ripping into them
thats kind of where my head is at too haha, imagine having so much money then buying an ugly mansion
OMG!!! TIARA ANGELISTA HAVE THE BEST LORE OF ALL BRIDGPORT, I DONT BELIEVE YOU SAY SHE DONT HAVE PERSONALITY. Basicly she don't know who is her dad, but he is your neighbour and also have the same job of Tiara.
The sims 3 best thing is doesn't like Sims 1-2 and 4 go to loading screen
I agree. I love active careers and going on dates with sims so I am constantly changing lots.
23:13 man it would be SO COOL if the photography skill from World Adventures allowed us to process the photos like that :/
how big and powerful is your computer this is crazyyyy😭😭
What? I don’t have a great pc just threw some old parts together
@@Rekowcski whaaat?! so little to no lag and this super quality while playing sims 3 AND recording? that’s crazy 😳
@@Rekowcski btw i saw your channel and thought you had like thousands of hundreds subs😭 you really deserve more with the quality of your vids!
@@pawmean thank you so much! yes it's true... the functionality of the sims 3 is independent of your computer specs to an extent. If you fix a couple things after you install, it will run better than the sims 4 for sure. It's an old game so its not THAT demanding, its just not well optimized :X
@@Rekowcski yes! thank u for the info! keep up the great content
Glenview Manor's layout isn't nice, that large hallway is a huge waste of space.
5:00 "it's very indicative of a heterosexual player with no style". As a former heterosexual player with no style, I laughed so much. Needs more tissue boxes.
“Heterosexual player with no style” LOL and its so true 2
It’s tragic. They should at least hire a gay to make it look stylish for them.
This part cracked me up
This series is ending for me too quickly... I don't wanna catch up too fast or I'll end up with nothing to watch pff
i try for 2 episodes a week, that's about an hour :| in case u need to plan haha
First one is a freaking 7.5 being an empty trash house, but the 2nd, the nice "heterosexual" apartment is a five? Yeah, skipping this video..
