IMAGINE renting an apartment that has a GREEN BATHROOM, i would not survive that catastrophe
building in the sims 3 is far more tedious than what we are used to in the sims 4, so I decided instead to rate and judge every house that the EA developers built instead of building new ones myself

I think the cramped living room in The Simerset is supposed to look like he moved the furniture to make room for the drum kit, which is a nice bit of detail especially since it comes from the building masterminds at EA
Your pet peeve is green bathrooms, mine is exterior doors inside. I HATE when they have a door leading into an apartment that has a window in it, or a door into a bedroom with glass in it. I don't want hallway randos looking in my house! They do this a few times in LN and a lot in TS4.
I absolutely cannot stand this either!! Yes please make my kitchen door a double wide with a deadbolt and windows... wtf EA haha

I was wondering why there are so many green bathrooms in the sims 3, but then I remembered that back in the 90s, my parents also had a green tiled bathroom, complete with a green tub lol...it was light green tho, not puke green lol

I’ve been playing on and off for years too and I’ve never seen most of the things that I come across in the videos haha
For me the apartment lots fare way better than the stand alone houses in terms of style, which is kind of disappointing LOL.
What I don't get they sometimes put random furniture in a diagonal just because they can. I mean make it make sense!

Just found this video and I had a thought for the Simerset house:
I think the idea is that the traditional "living room" furniture has been moved to make way for the drum kit.
3:29 my family and I have this running joke where every time we see someone using a bold, bright, saturated color for their house (whether on the outside or on the inside) we shout the color when describing it
like, that wall isn't blue, it's BLUE!!!!! for example lol

So nice to have a brutally honest judgment of anything from the Sims 3. I think, as people hate the Sims 4 and Sims 3 is the better game, they tend to look at it with rose-tinted glasses but it is definitely not without faults. Also, I love that you don't pull punches
Please remember this when I get cancelled for calling out the sims 5 haha

@@Rekowcski I'm from the US but I know what you mean lol. In the 90s for years my family would take road trips for family reunions and we would stay at Days Inn.

Been enjoying playing sims 4 because of the huuuuuge amount of interesting mods (and also because they finally came out with enough packs to make it interesting 😒). But here I am rewatching all your build rating videos and I'm being reminded of that Bridgeport lore. I loved playing the Littlers and their crazy drama with the husband cheating with the nanny 😯 and I feel like. That's what I've been missing. The LORE from sims 3 how all these people are connected and secrets and drama. In sims 4 you have to create your own lore and play ALL the households to give your worlds a story 🥲
Binge watching you again is making me think tomorrow I'm booting up sims 3 again and I'm gonna play some Bridgeport and maybe some midnight hollow ❤

Omg. I’ve been playing Sims 3. I love this series.
I don’t know if you remember but some time ago I told you that my the sims 3 game doesn’t work on my pc, well it was just a problem of how I know technology, it actually worked ever since I downloaded it, but I didn’t turn off some switch in (I’m really happy, love ts3) However… the best armchair ever made? Love that leather juicy feeling of that stunning living set that they made for this pack!!!(late night)
the furniture that comes with the "big city" expansion packs are usually my favourites... glad your game is working now

Stillwater is probably my favorite shell, but I do change a lot of the wallpapers and stuff when I play in it :')
You should look at all the houses in the world adventures towns! Like not the tombs the actual little houses the towns ppl live in :)
Don’t worry I’m gonna get those ones as well! They need a slightly different video structure so I’ll have to figure it out soon... we are almost out of “normal” worlds :|

A few apartment buildings in Bridgeport are identical, just different floor plans and furniture. It’s possible you are remembering the same shell but different apartment.
What lighting mod are you using? It’s so pretty 🥰
Also, I love Bridgeport, but my PC hates it 😅

i think that house is empty? I might be wrong, but I only judged the builds with sims living there already. I think once we are finished all the worlds, i will redo all the videos and do all the empty houses (:

same, my main Sim lived in the sugar cube. I even got a remake from the sims 4 gallery and one of my sims will move to it soon 😄

@@Rekowcski Super. I tend to never play the stock Sims and make my own to move into an available residence. Seeing all of those would be awesome.
I didn't played in Bridgeport for years. When it came out I was kinda disappointed by dull weather and ugly textures of skyscrappers. It looked like taken from favela from South America or from mining town deep in Russia. EA's taste improved with time but scheme was often the same - dirty and gloomy towns in expansions, bright and cheerful in store. Luckily, players made such a good custom worlds, that even using shells from Late Night didn't do much harm.
