Thank you I am a 38 yr old female that bought this uplander for 1k a little over 120k miles. I am no where near a mechanic I wish I was but I’m not and I use RUclips for all of my needs for this van. This is very helpful. Basically I’m just pretty much making guesses to what might be wrong. And I’ve done allot but I’m still learning. Please keep up with videos on the uplander. With me I learn by seeing the hat needs to be done.
Thank you for your video , great school course for me . Hope more videos on how to replace fuel cleaner on 2005 Chevy uplander and where is its location.
I have a liftgate issue on my 2006 Uplander it’s not opening is there a switch behind the handle and if so can you direct me to where I can buy one or who has it like AutoZone or O’Reillys please thank you
Yup 3 bolts for straps Disconnect a few electrical and hose lines Lower tank I'll do this cause I have a full t as no of gas I'll take out and leave enough in it to move van in spot I'll park and lift it onto blocks for a parts van

Glad to help. I have a video on testing the fuel pump and showing a connector that often gets corroded. Check that before buying a new pump.
@@DirtRoadAutoRepair I will do that thank you again.
When it's rusty it's scary cuz you don't know if you need to replace parts. Thanks for the video bud 👍
Yep. It’s not fun to have to replace extra parts because they were rusted and broke when they came out.
Helped me out a lot! I can do this myself now. Saved me $ 800.
I love hearing that! 👍🏼
Thanks brother. My fuel pump just went out on my 08. This helped a bunch. Time to get to work.

You need to show pulling the pump out for us. I will probably cut a access hole in the floor of my Uplander, just like I did in the bed of my C1500.
Sounds like you already know what you are doing.
Thanks

What tools would I need to replace a fuel pump in the Chevy Uplander?
Here's to hoping it's just that connector being corroded, since I got my van to start a couple times after moving the wire before it stoppd again.
I hope so! 👍🏼
I have a liftgate issue on my 2006 Uplander it’s not opening is there a switch behind the handle and if so can you direct me to where I can buy one or who has it like AutoZone or O’Reillys please thank you
Lift actuator they fail from corrosion internal wires

You should’ve put a block in front of the passenger tire just for extra precaution , but other than that, good job
