Neil really upped his game on this one. Probably their best progressive piece with vocals -- La Villa Strangiato otherwise beats it. Really well done. Looks complex.
Awesome as always Niko. It will be 3 years next month since The Professor left us here on this plane. Knowing him, he’s progressed to a higher plane where everyday there’s a free RUSH concert. At least that’s MY idea of heaven. Thanks for sharing this with us here. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
You did an awesome job with the timing...Neil really tests your ability to count the rests right...This is such a fun song to play and is very challenging with the many changes of tempo and Neil's complex beats... You nailed it...
Tonite's my First time seeing your stuff. You're 2-for-two in my book! My Favorite Tull song (Hymn 43) ... then I come-across my Favorite RUSH song Xanadu !!! Not only do I admire your "taste" in Music, Your drummin' Talent and timing are phenomenal ! (Don't be shocked.. I'm Sure that someone might have mentioned that before). Anyway, Thanks-much for the experience ! And on a lighter note, "Kudos" to your Cameraman for hanging from the ceiling for so long. (Don't let that go to his head). 🙂
Thanks a lot! I had some unfinished business, really wanted to do the entire Rush era 1975-1981 with the HQ sound. I also have some plans for 2023 but I dont know how much time there will be to record. We will see.
Hey, Nico. A while ago, I accidentally ran into one of your cover videos. The sound is the best I've heard so far. Imitating Neil is "a miracle" and you do a great freaking job. I did not find Natural Science in your repertory.... powerful drumming there. Also, Grand Designs is another one I'd like to hear you cover. No recent videos have been uploaded, however, I still hope you get to read these requests, if you know them. Neil completely changed drumming, as well as lyric writing, story telling with profound messages and cripted meanings, plus the way they all deliver, making many of their long songs to be like opera, with its different parts, each with its own perfect music to fit like a glove. No band has ever been able to do that, that's why IMO, these are the best musicians all together that I've heard and seen. I love others, but Rush composition, craft and always powerful contents are addictive......never worn out, always something new to discover in every song.
Congratulations on learning the tune 10% faster. I would suggest you move your high hat and small toms closer so you don’t have to reach as far. I only wish I would have met you when I learned all those tunes without social media back in 1976.

Absolutely awesome as always Niko! One of the best rush cover channels out there
