Yale Y602 Series Door Closer Installation

I DIY installed a door closer on the door to the balcony. The make and model is Yale Y602 Series.
I bought the item online at shopee.ph/Yale-Door-Closer-Y6...
It's also available in major hardware stores like Ace/Wilcon but is price higher at around Php1400

Is this also used for the deadbolt plus doorhandle only setup right? I wonder how the doorknob handle only plus deadbolt works because how does the door stays closed in space if the deadlock is not locked and there's no one using the door? Thanks man.
