Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! Today, we're going to be talking about a topic that has been making headlines all over the world - entitled Karens.
Now, you might be wondering, who or what are entitled Karens? Well, Karens are usually women who exhibit a sense of entitlement and often demand special treatment or privileges. They're the ones who ask to speak to the manager, throw a fit when things don't go their way, and think that rules don't apply to them.
In this video, we'll be taking a closer look at the phenomenon of entitled Karens and discussing why this behavior is so problematic. We'll be sharing some of the most outrageous entitled Karen stories out there, from the ones who refused to wear masks during the pandemic to those who called the police on innocent people for no good reason.
We'll also be examining the impact of this entitled behavior on society and what we can do to combat it. Is it just a few bad apples, or is it a larger cultural issue? How can we make sure that everyone is treated fairly and respectfully, without giving in to entitled demands?
So, get ready for an eye-opening discussion about entitled Karens, and don't forget to share your thoughts in the comments below. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next video!

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

LOL, I had a reservation for a rental car a few years back. A Karen came in wanting to rent a car without a reservation. She was in line in front of me and the customer service person was trying to explain that they had no cars available. She kept complaining and finally said “I don’t understand, there are all these cars out in the parking lot” I’d finally had enough of hearing her berate the customer service person and said “those cars are for people like me that have reservations, but haven’t picked them up yet” She turned around and left. I got a free upgrade 😂
🤣💯
Help dealing with an annoying customer, you might get a prize!
But just a fuming Karen will easily be it's own reward!
Rental car places are swarmed with Karens, I feel like. Every singel time there is someone demanding the exact model displayed as an example on the site, "GET LOST WITH YOUR FUCKING CLIO, I'm paying for a VOLVO C30!!!". Sigh...
Working with warranty cases at an electronics store, we had Karens evevry day. Sometimes we had security because people thought they could replace items they smashed themselves by screaming profanities and verbally abuse us. Once a posh lady about 50 y.o. came to my desk with an expensive vacuum that didn't suck, and I knew it would be ugly from the point she entered the que. Bad mouthing both me and my colleage for incompetence and slow mowing to the other que'rs. When she came up I was as friendly and charming as can be, I disconnected the hose from the vacuum, and I stuck a broom stick into the hose. She never stopped talking angry from the moment she entered the doors, until I popped a pair of panties out the hose on a lowered table inbetween our desks. It folded out perfectly for the 20-25 other people waiting to see, and most of them tried their best not to laugh. The face. She just took what was hers and left in a hurry. Every one who was present said they loved to see that play out. That 30 second interaction was the highlight of my life.
This is good vibes rewarded with good karma ❤
@@basstrammel1322 OMG! That's the funniest thing I've read in awhile!
In my mind, I'm picturing a woman like Hyacinth Bucket from "Keeping Up Appearances".
You probably have thought of a hundred funny things you might have said if you weren't having to be professional. I'd have been tempted to say (in my Texas drawl), "Ma'am, this kind of thang only happens when you're always gettin' your panties in a wad!"
Sometimes I live as if I'm a character actor in a sitcom. It's the only way I can tolerate some people!🤪
I know that Karen didn't just say "you're violating my HIPAA laws!" Ma'am that's medical. You're in a restaurant wanting to buy a yacht. 😂
To be fair if she's in a restaurant and thinking she can rent a yacht there's probably some mental illness there. So maybe it is a violation. I'm only kidding of course, but still. 😀
As someone going through it herself I think that customer was menopausal! 😂
Menopause is no excuse to act like a fool!
People LOVE to cite HIPAA.....while having NO IDEA what it actually does.
I was WEEEAAKKK when she said HIPAAlaws!
I worked for a bank and was the only supervisor, but I was working a window. The customer I was helping didn't like the answer I gave her and asked for the supervisor and was hella rude. I took a step back and did a spin and said I'm the supervisor and the answer is still no. The look on the tellers faces on each side of me and the clients face were priceless. I was so over it
That manager spin move was the best thing ever!! I bet she's been waiting for the day to pull that move 🤩 freaking G
Date payment Karen is definitely the person filming. It seems that they expected that the other person will pay for the meal and once they didn't,they threw a tantrum and tried to force them to pay for the entire meal. I can't believe some people actually act like that
The best part for me is I'm like 90% sure they were in a Waffle House
@@jovialtrap8527 I think they were, someone else commented that as well lol I just can't believe people can be so childish

"TRANSFER ME NOWWWW!!" That lady doesn't need a supervisor, she needs a priest and an exorcism. That call went full demon.
That's what I thought! I imagined her head spinning!
Omg yes!!!
@@skullladymalady Oh, I feel for you. Anybody screaming at me like that would have me in meltdown mode stat. It's crazy just how off and strange some people's minds work.
@@julielynnerose LMAOO!!! IKR???!!!
@@skullladymalady lol! I bet, not for me either!!! I'm not laughing at you, honey, I am just thinking of what has to go through some people's heads to think it is remotely ok to speak to another person that way.... lol..... i dont get it. I have gotten more angry than I really should have at times. I have yelled, sometimes at the wrong person. I don't condone it, though, I was wrong. But I'm human, it happens. But this.... This was taken to an 11, then pushed off the cliff. haha
I’ve yelled “you’re currently pissing her off!” To a Karen that demanded the manager. Was priceless, she legit didn’t know what to say and left because she knew she wasn’t getting her way
As someone who has worked for Xfinity’s retention team, that was probably a once a day occurrence. Luckily I had an awesome supervisor who would back us up. Especially in cases where we offered a credit to them, and they refused. He’d only offer half of what we originally offered as credit, and state that the initial offer was off the table seeing they declined it. Gotta love when your supervisor went to law school 😂
I used to work at DirecTV, and omg this happened to me so many times. They scream to get a supervisor, then a lot of them refuse to be put on hold to be transferred to a supervisor. I had one demand that I stand on my desk and "wave my little arms" until the supervisor came over. Which they will not do, as it isn't procedure.
Hot tip: if you disconnect your phone unit, it doesn't show as you hanging up on the customer.
One time, when I was working at a call center, a customer called me the n word. My supervisors had me send him up to my supervisors, and they all passed him around from person to person and trolled him until he hung up. Bestworst workday of my life lmao
That’s awesome that they had your back.
good work place enviroment right there
Where we work we can give 3 warnings and hang. This lady would've been hung up on so quick. People tend to relax as soon as they realize you're serious
In my experience, call centers have the best supervisors! They are always on your side and not on the customers. I had to dispatch a lot of calls to them and they also called a lot of those peoples bosses! I've only worked at call centers with business customers and I know that it's worse when it's private customers (?) when you don't have that option.
Happened to me once and I transferred him to my black supervisors. They were mad a technician darker than a paper bag was sent.
I was at a fast food place yesterday and they literally had a sign posted on the intercom thing that said “please be kind to our workers. For many of them, this is their first job. They are teenagers. They are someone’s child. They could be your child. Please do not be rude to them. If you need help, please ask for a manager or a shift supervisor” and it made me SO sad that things had gotten so bad at this restaurant that they had to remind customers that the employees were people, and not just people, they were kids. And it was because of people like this. I literally apologized to the girl taking my order because I felt so awful that they had to deal with this
That's gotten really out of hand in some places. I had to deal with some real bullying and sexual harassment as a cashier at fucking Wendy's. I worked at other fast food and retail places but Wendy's was pure hell. Everyone was horny, stinky, or weird, or bitchy. It was next to a car dealership and a construction site, and none of those men have any respect.
Men would sit there and refuse to complete their order until I gave them my phone number. I refuse to give out my phone number and we'd just sit there staring at each other. The chodes would try and say something to rile me up. And I'd ask if they were planning on eating anything. They'd try to demand the time I got off work so they could pick me up in their car.
What fucks me up is: If I heard someone sexually harassing a cashier, I would SAY SOMETHING??? People would act like they heard nothing and just order whenever the pervert of the hour finally fucked off.
I finally blew up on one male customer who leaned up against my back while I was refilling the ketchup dispenser, and attempted to whisper in my ear. My ears immediately went to steaming so I didn't hear any of that. I spun around and roared at him. Like, literally I'm not sure how to replicate the noise I made. I told him I knew damn well his mother didn't raise him to treat or approach women like that, correct? Was that or was that not true?! He looked scared. "Uh, I uh I was just gonna ask a question."
I think he was expecting me to be startled, humiliated, and quietly leave. Nope. Instead I hollered "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" enough for the whole restaurant to hear it. His question was absolute bullshit and confirmed his goal was to rub up on me. He wanted to see if there were napkins, and when the ketchup might be refilled. I was bent over because I was refilling the ketchup! I told him he could get napkins when I had finished refilling the ketchup, and was there anything else?? "no." And then I ordered him to sit back down and wait until I left. All at a volume level I've probably only achieved two other times in my life.
He walked back over to his table like a kicked dog. None of the employees spoke to me for a while. I thought at first because they disapproved, until I noticed that no customers seemed to be moving either. I realized then I might have accidentally intimidated the entire restaurant. My mom's half Italian half Black, and she used to sing in a gospel choir. My diaphragm is TONED. He should have thought of that before attempting a sneaky groin brush.
At first the silence made me feel very lonely. Just fucking raging in a weird silence. Some customers who had missed the whole thing came in and slowly things moved on. But a middle aged lady came up to me and told me she was proud of me!! That made me feel a lot better. Fuck Wendy's and fuck men.
Woah
It got that bad?
Customer service is one of the worst jobs ever. People are hideous and despicable when they don't get their way, and it's always the bottom of the food chain that has to take the brunt of their bullshit. The cashiers, the baristas, the waiters, the call center employees, and the receptionists. They're the ones dealing directly with the awful people. They're also the ones who are usually overworked, underpaid, and have little to no support from their management.
Fast food workers are getting shot in my city. I try not to think about that there.
My daughter is a manager at fast food place. She is constantly threatened, food thrown at her when ppl try to scam them to get free food , yelled at bc it took to long in the drive thru just stupid little shit. How she hasn't lost her shit on ppl is beyond me.
9:41 The pilot coming out the cockpit like Dad coming after you that time you sassed Mom 😂😭
😂😂😂 The lady at the counter deserves an award 🎉 Her under the counter switch was EPIC!
That "I'm the manager" line after stepping (or, in this case, ducking) out of sight for a minute turns up on Reddit a lot. It's real and it's hilarious.
She should have put a towel on her head to prove she was Manager.
I actually did that once...
It was in the 80s (yes, I know I am old)
A random woman came into the airbrush shop (Florida panhandle, beach, custom t-shirts)
She DEMANDED to use the bathroom.
I told her we didn't have one for her to use.
Cue the "You have one for employees... I'm pregnant (maybe? But not showing, so could've been lying) Blah, blah..."
Our bathroom was behind the compressor room, where we had 3 LARGE air compressors. Our insurance would not cover liability for a non-employee who might be injured.
"Possibly" pregnant made it a BIGGER safety concern.
Explained that to her... still b*tching. Told her there was a Cafe RIGHT NEXT DOOR... still demanding to use our bathroom.
Finally asked for the store manager.
I said fine.
Walked to the end of the long counter. Turned around, walked back and said, "Hi. I am the store manager. What seems to be the problem?"
To say she stormed out p*ssed would be an understatement.
Kicker?
One of the store owners was there (doing airbrush art) and he laughed until tears were rolling down his cheeks.

What killed me was when she screeched "That's against my HIPAA lawwwwws!!!" at the person recording! LOL
If memory serves...it was a boat rental place she was at. They just didn't have any rentals left. It wasn't a restaurant....I'm not sure where that came from?
The best thing is when they treat you like shit and ask for the manager, and you get to tell them that you ARE the manager on shift and watch their entitled face drop.
The crash and die statement put her on the “you can’t never fly anywhere FOR LIFE” list 😂
You can’t demand someone pay for you on a date & leave-you’re technically dining & dashing on your 1/2 of the bill & they could call the cops. That was ludicrous behavior
Um.... I don't think the cops care... as far as restaurant is concerned, they just need someone from the table to pay. They don't care who's responsible for what items, as long as its all paid
@@Pikapichuu yeah sure, but if 1 person paid for their food guess what? They aren't dining and dashing. Only the person who refused to pay is responsible.

The one I worked at would block the known numbers on their account for a period of time depending on how abusive they were or their file would have a note about them being abusive
I wish.
i used to work in one, as 4-1-1 support back in the day 😆 i recognize that tone. although i understand that they may already have tried calling 5 or more times and waited through more than half an hour of elevator music every time, when you're tired and cranky yourself from the monotony, it's all you can do to shoot back. what karens don't get is when you're in a screaming pique, you just don't get helped, the agent is also likely to drop the call on you and you'll be back fuming in the elevator music cycle until you keel over and die.
I've worked in court fines enforcement, receiving calls from all kinds of people who committed all kinds of fines. I have *never* had to deal with anyone like that Karen. Ever. They have been some of the nicest people to talk to over the phone (including the ones who went to prison!), and I respected the hell out of them for committing a crime, getting a fine, and dealing with their debt to society properly as part of their rehabilitation. I cannot stress this enough, there's no point believing in a justice system that works for the people if we do not also believe in the people's abilities to reform.
2:39 I've been in this situation. So many people were kind and understanding. People even helped me cut! It was a connecting flight and I was in tears since I was so scared of missing it. Working in customer service really messed up my mental health and I became really bad physically and emotionally. Now I have worked as quality assurance for three years and love it! Never once have I lied to a customer yay lol
Nah, I NEVER go on a date expecting to be paid for. Not just because I think they won't, but because if it's a bad situation I can just pay my own way out. This man did NOTHING wrong and with how entitled she was acting I'm sure there is more to the story.
The person who walked out sounded Male.
Exactly!
Guessing they probably got paired up by a dating service, and were meeting for the first time. Usually, splitting the bill is expected at that point.
Exactly! Unless the guy asked them out and specifically said it'd be his treat, why is there an expectation that he'd be paying the bill?
I agree! Based on her reaction to him not wanting to pay her half, I strongly feel there's something more to this. There should never be an expectation of one person covering the bill because you never know their financial situation. And who knows? Maybe this guy doesn't have a lot of money.
That spin move by that woman behind the counter had me crying laughing, what a brilliant way to piss off an entitled Karen 😂
That whole “I want a yacht!” tantrum was all just an excuse to be a jerk. Those who can afford them, renting or buying, know where to buy them. SMH 🤦🏻♀️ It seems that these days everyone is all about making a scene whenever, wherever they can whether or not it makes sense.
Story time: I use to work at a dispo and a lady had an issue with their order. Anyways the lady called and sure enough I answered the call I calmly explained how we could help her out with this issue and how we could fix it. As I was trying to explain this she screamed at me not letting me speak and calling me every name in the book. I hung up on her and told my boss, she called back telling them what I did. I never got in trouble for it as everyone around me here the whole conversation.

I thought everyone knew that you always bring enough money to pay for your half on a date, even if the other party offered to pay. At least that's what I was taught, I don't want to depend on another person for me to eat
Agree, when I was dating, I always went prepared, and always offered, to pay my own half, as well as ensuring I had a way home if things didn't work out. It only made sense.
First date rules for me: 1) always drive myself 2) expect to pay my half. Like its just smart.
I take enough to pay for both, because if I really like him I'll offer to pay regardless of who asked, then tell him he can get the next one (then he knows its on for a second date)
I agree with you totally. I thought everyone knew that too like common knowledge. There shouldn’t have been an assumption that you weren’t going to pay. Wow is all I can say..❤️🔥💯
I was taught the same thing. Regardless of if they asked me out. However, depending on how they worded it depends on how you pay. Would you like to join me equals meet me and pay separately. Would you like to go to blank with me means you’re willing to pay and are going together.
I’ve seen the pilot one before and yes, she is going to have a difficult time flying anywhere ever again. Her comment about “crash and di3” is tantamount to saying “b0mb” on a plane. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had the government alphabet visiting her and keeping tabs on her phone calls after this.
On top of that pilots are very often superstitious so saying “I hope y’all crash and die” is probably the most offensive thing you could ever say on a plane.
Either way, she's probably been blacklisted from that airline.
Her eating the candy and taste testing it after all that had me crying laughing 😂 lol she is me
Ma'am that's not how HIPPA works, lmao! The manager spin is one of my favorite things. I've been at work when a manager has done it twice and it's amazing. The best one was where we had a long oval shaped bar. Karen demands the manager, not knowing she was already speaking to her. Mgr says sure, walks away, does a full circle around the inside of the bar to stop back in front of Karen again. Her face was priceless! I had to go in the back because I was laughing so hard. 😂
The dude on the date, that was being harassed about the bill, was saying he couldn't cover the whole thing because he only had $14 on him. It's rude to expect someone else to pay for the first date anymore. You come prepared to take care of yourself.

Mental Breakdowns were so common at my call center that the packet for medical leave was in a take one holder outside of HR. Managers and higher ups in the company don't give two shits about the people taking calls unless they were making them look bad.
I do not doubt your word at all , but I can’t even imagine talking to someone like that no matter how frustrated I get .
One time I talked rather sternly to a sattlite company rep when she wouldn’t let me cancel their service . But my stern is like sweetness in comparison to this
I always feel so guilty when I have a frustrating problem with a business and I have to make a phone call. Many decades ago, when I was young... I worked for a finance company. During collections training we kept an empty steel trash can next to our desk or emptied the bottom drawer. Mind you, we were using old style phones, with a handset and had steel desks. If a customer got nasty with us during the call we would bank the handset around inside the trash can or toss it in the bottom drawer and slam it a few times..... Hi, are ready to talk calmly now? Much more satisfying than just hanging up.... Aaahhh the memories
The Karen in the date situation is 100% the one forcing the other to pay.
I’ve done that management move before. Only I walked out of the room sat in my chair for 5 minutes and walked back out and said “ Hi I’m the manager how can I help you” the petty was so worth it. I only wish I had recorded it.
I so this everytime someone asks me to talk to the owner. Last time male Karen yelled 'Can I TaLk wITh sOmeoNe mORe ImpORTanT than this WAitRess here????', i went in the kitchen, got out and asked what is the problem. I witnessed my manager do this once. Our break room has a lot of weird props in it (wigs and stuff) and we like to make each other laugh. He literally said "I'll be right back with her" and came out of the break room two minutes later wearing a wig and fake glasses, put on a completely different voice and personality, and continued the conversation as if nothing happened. The pilot walking out is how my niece has described me when I was babysitting her and her brother, and he did something he shouldn't have (usually trying to start a fight with her for no reason) xD
I remember the first time I had to go with my mom to her work for a day. I don't remember why, maybe it was a snow day or something. But I was probably 12/13 when this happened, and I'd been to her work before but not for a full day of just sitting there and occupying my time with homework like this day. So, with me in her cubicle I got to hear all the call she made. People were so mean. One stuck with me bc my mom called and explained to a man that his phone bill was 3 months behind and if he didn't pay she'd have to have his service cut off. This isn't her choice, it's just her job. She was trying to make money to feed my siblings and I and keep us in school activities and make us feel safe. But of course, this man is thinking of his own troubles and lashes out. He yelled at her so hard everyone in the cubicles around her could hear him. That was the first time I heard the word "cun*" the way he said it, so hateful, and I cried so hard. She had to face people like that Xfinity customer day in and day out. I'm always really polite to people through the phone and always compliment their service at the end, even if I'm frustrated bc of that man.
Be kind. It costs nothing. Unlike your phone bill.
That Karen screaming "NEOOOOOW!" repeatedly mustve sent her neighbours straight to 911 thinking there's a brutal scene going down next door
The way she said "NEEOOOOOOW!" I was about to tell her to lay off the catnip because she sounds like a cat.
Her neighbors are probably used to hearing it 🤣 it's just another Tuesday afternoon for them
She needs an exorcist🙂.
Not saying it excuses the insane freakout, but I can almost understand where she's coming from since Xfinity is absolute underhanded worthless shite...she gonna lose her voice tho.
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Wow! you don't know how many times I played back the yacht scene. That really made my day. So creative! Genius!
I used to work at a hospital calling center, when I had rude, yelling customers and patients I would transfer them to the psychiatric dept.
That manager doing the disappearing reappearing act is HILARIOUS. I want to do that one day SO BAD
I used to do this when I worked fast food but I would walk to the back and walk back out because we had these old western style double doors so it was really theatrical to bust back out through them.
Against my HIPPA laws. Lol. Love how they just don’t understand. I did love the employee shrinking down and standing up. Hilarious
I had the same reaction!! xD
Like what, honey??? HIPPA is medical xD
Lol HIPPA. Show’s how ignorant she is. She was the worse entitled Karen out of them all
She obviously doesn't understand HIPAA. No medical information was discussed. And she just couldn't seem to wrap her head around the fact that the yachts were privately owned. A lot of places near boat docks have restaurants and boat rentals in the same establishment, which this probably was.
"You rent boats, a yacht is a type of boat, therefore you must be able to rent one to me! I don't care if someone else owns it, it's at your dock so I can rent it!'
That gave me a good laugh too 😂
I'm not American and I was thinking when she said that "isn't HIPPA their medical privacy laws?" Lol
On the plane when that said to them she hoped they crash and die, that pilot rolled up out that cockpit like he was about to say, "Whatchu say, B***H?!?! Come here! Let's "chat" for a bit!!" Don't lose your pilot's license over that heifer, captain.😂
The pilot go after Karen, reminds me of a high school principal or parent catching the one person that never gets in trouble. 😂😂😂
I actually think the Karen in the date payment was the one forcing the other to pay for the full meal! Like, just cut your losses and don’t be a baby
The Karen didn't even want to be on a date, just a free meal
Agreed, came here to say this.
100% he doesn't HAVE to pay for her meal just because it's a date! If he wants to, then that's nice, but seriously! Bring your own money to pay for yourself! (unless prior stipulations have been communicated).
I think you're right. The rules have changed, men no longer have to pay for their date if they choose not to. It would be nice, and I wouldn't say no if they offered. But I don't expect it unless they say 'My treat" before you go out.
I'm still taking enough money to cover all expenses, just in case he suddenly 'forgot' his wallet. Had that happen a couple of times, there was no second date.
I don't agree. If he asked her out and did not tell her in advance that she was paying for herself then he is in the wrong. It really comes down to how things were worded prior to the date and prior to the food being ordered. If you are not enough of an adult to discuss that ahead of time and you can't afford to pay then don't ask anyone out.
Lmaooooo 😂😂😂 the manger that did the spin move😂😂😂I'm crying. That's savage asf
Lmfao thw Yatch scene remember me of the Chappelle Show "Pop-Copy" Sketch. "I wanna speak to your manager, Guess what I am the manager now gtfo" lmfao
The last time I was at an airport I got quite irate with the Starbucks barista because they wouldn’t sell me a plane. Whatever happened to “The customer is always right”?
🤣🤣🤣
THERE ARE SO MANY OUT THERE! I SEE THEM! WHOSE ARE THEY??
LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
That “I hope y’all crash and die” just got her in a whole lot more trouble than she was already in. Yowza 😂
That's not a threat.
@@dwightsmith2918 It was more than enough to get her banned/blacklisted from flights more than likely though, that's for sure.
It's an incident that has happened enough that you need to consider it a very real possibility everytime a airplane goes into the skies. You have to consider it a possible threat and the pilot needs to investigate it.
Oh, the money I would pay to have heard the conversation with her and the pilot...
I would’ve taped her mouth shut and put her back on the flight she just hexed, then ban her the other end…
Please tell me somebody bothered enough to film the captain outside talking to that couple. I know it's priceless!
Never go on a date expecting the other person to pay
Once I was flying from Delhi to Amsterdam , the domestic airlines messed with my luggage. That got me so late to reach Delhi international airport. I had the same issue with an older couple in the line before security. But a security staff rushed to me and took me and my kid to the head of the line while berating the older couple for deliberately trying to make someone miss the flight. That was glorious really. The expectation that “you need to reach early”!!! , people don’t really know what could have caused the traveler to get late !!!
We had a very tight transfer in Toronto last month due to our first flight being delayed.
God bless Air Canada and the lovely people in the queue ahead who let us go ahead of them.
I like Canada.
I once almost missed my train from Paris to London and a lovely group of Korean tourists practically pushed me to the front of the line when they noticed my anxiety. Then they told off the customs guy for trying to make me go to the back of the line again. My angels, I had to chase after an already moving train and leap on but I made it thanks to those kind strangers.
You're situation was completely different though. I've never seen someone have to wait in line when it was the airport/airlines fault a person was running behind and may miss their flight. They always escort them to the front of the line just like you were. They're not going to escort someone to the front of the line that arrived 15 minutes before their flight is scheduled to leave.
right and she just asked nicely no need to go all Karen like really them lady's oh I mean girls need to be kicked out that would me so amazing
This happened in airport many times, people were running like crazy (sometimes assisted by airport/airplane staff) because they're almost missed flight and we just let them through.
When I worked at a call center and managed complaints we were are allowed to tell people to treat us right as long as we were going 100% by the book. I used to say "sir/madam, I do not deserve this treatment, I advise you to calm down and be polite otherwise I am allowed to end this conversation." That usually got them even angrier and I could hang up without damaging my overall performance. Great for the monthly average call time tho! I loved crazy clients..
Is it bad that i kinda hope you actually said “sir slash madam” instead of the appropriate word? Lol
Most call centers have "abusive customer" policies now. When I first started working in call center customer service, we'd just have to take the abuse. Now, you can disconnect the call as long as you give the customer the opportunity to change the behavior. If they don't, they get the dial tone.
@@jaye61970 Yep. We gave them one warning and if they did not stop...bye bye!
Half the issue is the call centres set their staff up for abuse. They have systems and wait times that rile people up, then give their staff zero power to fix any of the issues.
Having said that, that screaming can be cause by nothing but insanity 🤣
I worked in health insurance provider line, and the lady was mad that I couldn’t discuss a claim with her, since she didn’t provide the appropriate information needed, and when I said, “I’m sorry that doesn’t match” she says “I hope you die”. Didn’t even get a chance to tell her to call back when she can speak in a calm professional tone before she hung up
These moments are the reason I want to live in space, without air.
Dang, that pilot coming out made me legit scared like I was 6 again and dad just put the Sunday paper down and stood up cause I'm being a terror.
The lady yelling on the phone brought back memories. When I was 18 years old, I started working at a hospital from three to midnight and one night a lady called in and was going off, screaming and yelling about her bill, saying the most insane things, like the surgeon left in the middle of the surgery and played golf, and then he came back and just was cussing and yelling at me and I was new, and I just sat there and cried and cried until one of my coworkers came over, grabbed the phone for me and hung it up. And then told me we don’t have to take that kind of abuse.
So wait...the lady was yelling at you and a surgeon was also yelling at you?
When I get mad, I cry. It's really frustrating. I had called an accountant on behalf of a mutual client and asked for the documentation I needed. The guy was super rude and started yelling at me. I tried to stay calm and explained what I needed and why. He just kept yelling. People on the opposite side of my cubicle wall could hear what I was dealing with. I started crying cause I was so angry. He got really quiet. Asked me to please explain what I was looking for, and then said he would try to have the document over to me by the end of the day. LOL 🤣I assume he was having a bad day and took it out on me and my crying kinda made him realize he was being a jerk.
@@melissadibacco8937 I'm glad that shut his ass up though 😆
I’m so sorry that happened
@@thaloblue I don't think so, just the crazy lady on the phone.
The woman screaming “Noooooooww!!!” sounded like she needs an exorcist! 😂
😂😂
I'm surprised her head didn't explode!
"Yes ma'am, my supervisor will be right here. First name Jesus, last name Christ, he's quite qualified to deal with your issues"
The last lady may not spend any time in jail but she’s definitely just sentenced her husband to a “Due Date” type road trip.
The day my coworker became a manager. I was like gold! and it was simply that.
OMG, the girl who pretended to walk downstairs and return as the manager was hilarious!!!
My favorite thing about being in upper management at a call center was the ability to tell people “I will give you one warning to stop raising your voice or I will disconnect the call” and they didn’t believe me and then I did and put them on our abusive caller list :) and if they got it enough I was allowed to send them restraining orders from our company saying if they call us again we will be filing a lawsuit :) it was truly my favorite
The duck down and spin around manager trick is a real one. When I was 19 and no one ever expected me to be the manager I would do that shit all the time bc it sets them OFFFFF😂
The lady yelling noooooowwww on the phone call had me cracking up lol do these people not realize that yelling and being annoying like that? Doesn’t make people work faster. It just makes you the topic of conversation amongst the staff team until the next Karen comes lol
Oof had a similar thing happen like the Xfinity Karen at a previous job. Customer was mad about part of her order being delayed, she called the office multiple times and freaked out at every csr demanding to speak to the manager. Transferred to the manager and started screaming at her then the owner came over and took over the call (It was a small business). He told her to f off for harassing his staff, canceled her entire order and black listed her 🤭
Good for him!! Too bad all businesses don’t support their employees like that!
When I have to actually call customer service for help some of the first words out of my mouth are "Hey, so I'm going to be honest, calling strangers gives me massive anxiety so bear with me." I immediately hear their tone soften since they now know this interaction is just as painful for me as it is for them and, if they're having a bad day, I'm not going to be adding to it. My brutal honesty about my own struggles has gotten me very far with customer service. I highly recommend it instead of death metal screaming at the unfortunate person having to be forced to take your call. 👍
When I find myself getting frustrated with a customer service situation, I usually say, "I know you're just doing your job. If I sound upset, just know that I know this isn't your fault and I'm just mad about the situation, not angry with you."
@@cbpd89 I wish more people in the world acted like that
I have exactly the same problem and you know what's funny most of the time the customer service people are super nice it's just hard for me to talk to people I don't know
Thank you, we appreciate it❤️
@@cbpd89 i do the same exact thing. I try and reassure the person on the other end of the line when i know they can't do anything about the situation.
When i have to talk to customer service/support, i make an effort to be friendly. Unfortunately, sometimes people just have a bad day and they'll still be mad at me for calling about an issue.
I feel like there is a distinct difference tho between the people who genuinely wanna help if you're nice & the ones that just try and get you off the line asap no matter how friendly you are..
NO wonder Xfinity CS is always so helpful, I'm polite and treat them like humans 😅
I love watching Charlotte when she's drunk
Karens saying you can't record because of HIPAA is one of the things that makes me want to die laughing. That's...ma'am...HIPAA is about your medical information...you're asking for a boat at a restaurant.
And HIPPA only applies to their medical providers. I can talk about their medical issues all day long if I want to!
🤣❤️
Good to know in caes I ever find myself in the USA xD
I was a manager at a restaurant and I have 100% done that manager spin move so many times 😂😂 I LOVE it 😂

Okay update: That’s not what I was thinking. But that’s funny, too. 😂😂
Theres a whole clip about the yacht.. funny af lol, The getting her supervisor part.. Pure Gold !
"You can't record me. That's against my HIPAA law!" I'm going to use that when someone records me. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I needed this video after dealing with a Karen at work yesterday. I wasn’t severing this lady, just doing a wall display of our product and she yells out at me from across the room “what’s wrong with you”
Me: “excuse me”
Karen: in the snarky Karen voice “what is wrong with you, you look so concentrated on what you are doing you don’t look happy enough smile more”
Me: “just finishing my task here, it’s not that exciting”
She walked off but I don’t understand why a grown up adult has to yell at at someone from across the room because i wasn’t smiling continuously????? AT A WAll 😂
Well you weren't happy so obviously what you needed was to be yelled at.
I hope you weren't severing her lmao
To the Karen, everyone's business is also their business. They're just minding it.
I had that happen too. I gave them my best demonic smile I could 😂
Severing? Do you mean serving? Freudian slip?
Worked at Walmart customer service. We are allowed to hang up on a customer once they start to threaten us or cuss at us. Always a good feeling to just *click*
I always loved ed the chair spin video😂 and the pilot at the end. Like go boy!
The loud angry caller who wanted a supervisor sounded like a screaming banshee.Nooooow!
You know shit gets real when the pilot leaves the cockpit
When I worked in customer service when I got an insane caller screaming at me like that I would put them on hold and leave them there. I considered it a strategic victory to force them to hang up the call.
I've had that call. I was the escalation line, and dude was screeching, cussing, so I hung up, but the trick was, when he called back to shout and cuss some more, he got me because it routed automatically back to the last person he spoke to, if they weren't on a call. I got to hang up on him 3 more times since I was the highest escalation available. 😂
I LOVED the Pilot going after that person!!! They’ll never fly again! When I was younger, in the 60’s or 70’s, there were a lot of hijackings going on, and my parents and I were going to the airport for a flight, I still remember my Dad saying “Don’t even whisper the word highjack at the airport”. I wasn’t even thinking about that, but Dad was so serious about it. Those were the good old days folks. You dressed up to go on a flight, drinks were free, the planes were new, haha. Only down side was people smoked during the flights.
You cannot be put on a no-fly list for exercising your First Amendment right and no way did she threaten the airplane or the people on there she stated an opinion that she "hopes" it crashes and burns.. that's not a threat to the airplane or the airline or anything like that. Her rights do not end where your feelings begin. Not that I'm saying what she did was a smart move or was even necessary for the situation they were in but people's right even if you think they're wrong are still their rights and to try and persecute them for using their opinion is literally a bastardization of the First Amendment. You know the most fundamental Amendment we have in the Constitution of the United States
@@chancellorgowron8992 I don't think you're right... it would be up to the judge as she is most definitely getting charged for uttering threats. She is probably getting a fine. She might end up banned from that airline too.
@@KatelynDawn she didn't threaten anybody when she got off the plane she said she hopes the plane crashes and they all die.. that's not a threat if hoping something can get you arrested we have lost our freedom of speech completely and if you're okay with that you're part of the problem. Yeah she got banned from Spirit Airlines big deal it's a Flying dumpster on wheels.. her rights Don't end where people's feelings begin
A few other down sides: Luggage with wheels hadn't been invented, so you carried your heavy suitcases. Cell phones weren't invented so you did not receive alerts if ever your flight were delayed. There was no inflight entertainment ~ you brought a magazine or book. There were no lie-flat beds, called pods. FAs had to weigh less than 125 lbs and dealt with a lot of drunken yahoos. But we FAs agree with you ...it was nice when passengers dressed up. People now fly in their pyjamas.
@@chancellorgowron8992 lol are you sure? I’m sure there are many people that thought the same way & ended up right on that list 😂
I was a cashier and was at work at like six in the morning (I usually worked afternoon or evening) and I started off with smiling and asking how the customer was before my smile dropped because I was tired from my turn around shift (worked the night before until ten) and the customer was like "Why aren't you smiling? You should always smile around customers!" Like they sounded offended. I basically said sorry, I was tired from my late shift. And the audacity of them saying "That's not MY problem, you should go to bed at a decent time. Besides you still need to SMILE when with a customer." I stared at them, baffled, before giving the most forced smile I could muster that made them uncomfortable, even remarking it wasn't real, which I said that of course it was real, its a smile afterall, like how they wanted. (I drove thirty minutes to get to work, so a late shift to a morning wasn't fun) People super crazy.
i told a customer i had facial paralysis and i couldnt smile and pretended to cry… it was fun
People are not super crazy!!! They don’t know what you go through privately!!! When you filled your application for that work were you honest enough to your employer that you work somewhere else!!!
