Shelley thank you for sharing your ideas, this is brilliant! The usual double layer beanies can get too hot, this is easy to make and produces a lighter weight beanie. I’ve only just made one and I’m already hooked 😀❤
Shelley, you did it again!🥰❤️. Love your imagination and ingenuity! I may try drop stitches for the center of butterfly wings. (We don’t need beanies in Florida 🤣🤣). Great tutorial for gifts! Thank you for this idea and all your wonderful tips and tricks. Love it. Enjoy your day 🤗🥰
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet oh how I wish I was in Canada! Winters are nice here but the humidity in the summertime is suffocating. Maybe it's different on the coast line but I live in the center part toward the north. however, I would love to meet you in person my online daughter.❤🤗
@@HeatherSaltas I haven’t tried. I would think it would have to drop in the opposite direction it was knit making it the end of the project. You could try it though.

Could you start the dropped stitch part at the beginning instead of at the end on the machine? Very cool design!
