Did you just cut the count in half for the smaller version? I also have been told my projects are not handmade cause I use a crank machine and not actually hand crochet them. I feel the same way about a sewing item. If a sewing machine item is considered handmade then a crank knitted item should also be. I have to use my hands to add the yarn on. Then crank it by hand (I personally have not used a drill) to make the row count then cast off. Then hand sew together things closed and so on. It takes several hours for some things to be made.
No, the smaller one I only used my 22 peg machine. The head/body was 65 rounds and the limbs are 13. I totally agree with your thoughts! Thank you for sharing.
