Im so glad i found your vids...im a cancer patient and quilting and sewing are such a comfort to me. I love watching your vids because your voice is so soothing to me. Thank you for sharing with us😊
Also I want to try EPP and I've learned everything I need to know to get started from you. Thanks...wish I lived near you because I would definitely take part in your classes. I wish you great luck with your new sewing studio, but I just know with your personality you will definitely succeed.
I’m so glad you enjoy my videos and that quilting and sewing are helping you. Wishing you all the best with your treatment, I hope you get better really soon 🌸
These are so lovely! Thank you. Especially for showing that needle threader from Clover! I so greatly enjoy everything about your tutorials Emma, I appreciate all of the effort you put into giving us these excellent videos. Calm, clear, concise, practical, and beautiful.
Emma they are lovely. I'm sure they will look fab in your tables for the workshop. Very sweet. I especially like the third one that looks like a flower pot. You could make them and put them in the little seed pots you get in hardware shops
The little pin cushions are so cute Emma. Thank you for showing us how easy they are to create and I am sure they will be a hit and used all the time in the classroom. xx
Thanks for the inspiration. I love making these in all sorts of tiny vessels. Recently found some vintage “salts” that I plan on using for pin cushions. I used a felted wool ball in the first one. I’m happy for some fresh ideas.
Very pretty! 😊 When i saw the tiny hexagon flower yesterday, I was wondering you might possibly be doing a "finger pincushion". I haven't made one yet, but plan to with the 1/4 inch hexagon flower I made. You use a plastic lid from a soda bottle. Burn a couple round holes in the lid for a piece of elastic to put it on your finger, proceed by putting the hexagon flower applique on a circle piece of fabric and attach to the lid as you did the little egg cups. You can also put a ribbon around the side edge of the lid if desired. 😊 It seems like it will be very handy having right on my hand.
Oh that does sound interesting, would be very useful and very cute! Might try that one day, thank you! If you make one please send me a photo of it on Instagram or by email 😊
Hi Emma, What a lovely project to make with your kids , grandkids and friends. Great Christmas gifts for your sewing groups and quilting groups. I will definitely have to make a few. Thank you sweet lady for sharing.❤️Have a blessed day 💕
That is so pretty with the hexagons. I did something similar with ivory cotton pieces and then embroidered on each with one thread and a running stitch in thread. So pretty
Ok Emma, I am not sure if I should be thanking you or shaking my fist at you!! LOL. I have been making 1/4" Hexies for a couple of your patterns that I purchased and I can't seem to STOP making them!!!! I have been practicing with some fabrics I did not plan on using but have been Fussy Cutting them!! ARGHHHHH!!! I think my OCD has kicked in. I can't seem to stop making them. No idea what I will do with all of them. I love it but can't seem to stop making them when I have zero idea what to do with them all!!
Oh sorry!!! They are addictive! Keep them and you’ll find things to do with them one day, everything is better with a hexie flower on it so they are perfect for stitching onto literally anything and everything!
Napkin rings work well also. I’m sure antique and charity shops would have some beautiful ones to go with your Liberty. I’m going to do this with old family sterling silver rings.
@@emmajonesvintagesewingbox a coordinating piece of felt can be cut to exact size of bottom or fussy cut with pinking or scalloping shears to stick out a bit. Have fun!
Hi Emma, I always enjoy your videos. I have been trying to find the hexiforms you used in your adorable flower pincushion but I can’t seem to find it. Can you tell me where to get it? Thank you. 😊
Hi Emma! Just wondering where you got your thimble? I’ve noticed that it looks like it belongs to a little holder/set where you keep little scissors and maybe some pins?? It is so pretty and feminine. Keep up the good work! Love your videos. ❤
It’s not from that set actually because the one that came with that was far too big. It’s a solid silver thimble from Thimbles for you, I got it when she was selling them at Festival of Quilts last year 🌸
Great ideas for pin cushions do you have to use a glue gun?i dont have one and dont really want to buy one as i have limited space for more gadgets ha! thankyou for showing this lovely video 🎉
I don’t know of any other glue that would do the trick just as well which is why I suggest it but if you know of something different you could try it 😊

Hi Emma lovely work.❤ Your needle looks quite long. What needle and size are you using if you don't mind my asking.
It’s a size 9 milliners so it is quite long 😊
I love my clover needle threader

Hi Emma, I always enjoy your videos. I have been trying to find the hexiforms you used in your adorable flower pincushion but I can’t seem to find it. Can you tell me where to get it? Thank you. 😊
If you visit Ashmead Designs website they make and sell hexiform 😊

Did you leave the papers in the flower? Live your pincushions!
I didn’t use paper, I used hexiform and it’s designed to be left in making it so easy to use!
@@emmajonesvintagesewingbox That makes perfect sense, I just missed that bit of information in the video. Thanks for letting me know.

Does anyone know if that thimble is for sale anywhere? It looks like just what I need.
I think she got it from festival of quilts one year from a seller, it was on a video so you could go back and find it!
Yes, I got it from Thimbles for you at the festival of quilts last year 😊
❤️❤️❤️
Aww.. i dont think us ikea sells egg cups
Walmart sells similar egg cups in packs of eight. Around $6 😊
