  • Dynamat, Eastwood X-Mat, Thermo-tech Cool It, Noico??? They're all the same! In Episode 114 of Restoring Christine, we tackle heat and noise by installing Noico bitumin "tar" sheets with an aluminum foil facing to block sound, vibration and radiant heat from the floor, as well as foam insulation on the roof of our 56 Bel Air to keep the temperature nice and cool!

Glad to see you back. I anticipate your weekly videos and get withdrawal symptoms when you skip a week. Keep up the good work.

I read this comment three times, amazed at how someone would see the engineering brain at work without knowing that I'm an engineer... and then I said, wait... It's Fred. LOL!

Glad you liked it! When I did the Cutlass, I spent a lot of time debating about which brand did what and when it finally came down to it, I realized that they're all mostly the same.

I haven't had the time to dig mine out to count, but there is a manual on the install that is online:

      chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/shop/1955/55csm0140.html
There is also an interior installation book that I have that you'd have to buy:
