  • POV Test Drive of Toyota Corolla sedan in European spec. 1,8- litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with 122 HP and automatic CVT transmission without virtual gears.
    Smooth relaxing car, but not a boring car. Steering is very direct, hybrid powetrain is very smooth, suspension is at the perfect spot for everyday use on good and bad roads as well. The only serious downgrade is air noise from the side windows at higher speeds. Cruise control is fiddly to use. Other than that, great car, pleasure to drive.

    I love this car. After a French car, I feel its shock absorber is hard but not shaky. Engine noise is outstanding only at high acceleration, but still only for 2-3 seconds. Overall, the cabin is comfortable but it has a sense of a box. One for sure, this is a safe, very reliable and cost-effective car. That's why I love it.

    I was driving on Toyota Corolla 2021 & 2020 it's the best driving ever and I had been drawing about 7000km in month .The driving most smooth in this klass ,of course it's my own opinion and you can agree or not disagree with me .

    7:20 unsure if it's uphill or wierd head-wind but how can the engine kick in from that very slow acceleration(one of many)?
    This car are missing the big point of hybrid, EV should always try to go 100% from standstill and accelerate the car till atleast 50-60km/h, THEN the engine can kicks in to maintain the speed.
    Now it looks like the petrol mostly always kicks in every acceleration and goes EV when it got up to speed.

    Only thing dissapointing is the noise level in the car, but even the Rav4 is noisy, expected Toyota to be a quiet car.

      You are right, it is noisy above 80 km/h, mostly from windows

      Due to hybrid power in city no, but on the highway yes

      Highway don't even need power :-), highway is the time when you switch this car to eco mode :-), only time you need power is when overtaking a vehicle, and then you switch to sport mode.

      @@gaalattila829and most of the time, overtaking is not even necessary. I see what you mean about sport mode though but if I’m behind something doing 40 mph in a 50 mph zone, single lane each side, I just sit behind it. I wont be late anywhere. No point me flooring it to get past just to do another 10 mph, swapping places in the traffic. Pointless. Any overtaking manoeuvre where you think you need a lot of power to pull out means there are obviously other vehicles you need to avoid quickly. Shouldn’t even overtake if thats the case. It doesn’t reduce journey times.

      @@LatecoBraxatoris i can see in ur video u got that noise everytime u break and u stopped then u have this noise.. did u notice it or not really? is it annoying ?

      @@cafardgang1098 Electrified cars have specific noise from the brakes when starting to move. It might be this case. In this car it is noticable. E.g. in Kias it is annoying.

      @@LatecoBraxatorisIt’s when the car is stopped look in 3:35 when the car stop, u can hear a « buzzzzzz » for like 1 second. it happend with u 2-3 times. Do u know what is this?
      Not when u accelerate, when u break and stop. then the buzz noise come

      Diaľnica býva 5,5-6,5 ale záleží aj od terénu, medzi Prahou a Brnom pri 140 km/h 7 litrov/100 km
      Okresky 5 litrov/100 km
      Mesto 3-4 litre/ 100 km
