NICE REVIEW MAN: I actually went to dealer after watching your video & mannnn this car is simple yet VERY capable. I was eyeing the Camry Hybrid but man if I can save $10K on a car that I would drive primarily by myself most of time - I'd be a fool not to look into this car! AGAIN: thanks man! Your reviews are TOP NOTCH 💯
Thank you so much! This vehicle is one of the best regarding reliability and saving money. You fill this up with 20 bucks and it could easily last you 3 weeks and the ride feels awesome, very smooth.
@@jaygtestdrives wow really? $20 every weeks 😭 nowadays I'm paying $60 for every 2 weeks 😭 Definitely a strong contender for the low price!
Exactly what I was also debating. That 10k came to mind. Then I knew I only need it for work. The day I made the purchase I went for the Corolla Hybrid instead. No regrets till this day. Simple but reliable. Happy.
@@fidelm3371 nice!!!
Now I want one! I see so many reviews of people bashing them but they look awesome
Great review, glad you were talking because your input is useful. Not surprised that noise levels are a lot lower compared to your 2020 Corolla SE manual since this hybrid has 15 inch wheels with fat tires and your SE manual has 18 inch wheels with low profile tires.
Thank you so much for watching!
Perfect first car in my opinion, great commuter car for me to go to and from college, to work, and I’ll save on gas, as a car guy, I’ve always wanted an older Beamer or Audi as a first car but common sense tells me that I should look into a car like a Corolla or Camry
I have the same car love it! Also, great review 💯
It’s safe to drive it on highway?
@@kookakooka1947 yeah bro
Just bought one... I love it!
Yes its so smooth!
@@jaygtestdrives while cruising on the road, how fast (max speed) does it go using only battery or EV mode? I used to have a Fusion Hybrid and it can go up to 100kph while on battery mode only!
@@ztekz This one around 30kph it will deactivate EV mode
@@jaygtestdrives saw on your video while cruising at 50-60kph it was running on battery alone…was curious if it could cruise bet 80-100kph on battery mode
Since you own 1, how's the Road/Wind noise on highways?
I just ordered a 2022 no spare tire is that an option now
I knew the scenery looked familiar was this filmed around the Broward/West Palm area?
Palm beach County
Good video, subscribed. Wondering why did dash not change red when you were in power mode ? Also sound system sounded really nice so makes me wonder was this basic trim or Excel trim with specifically JBL speakers ?
Its the basic trim, the hybrid is only based on LE trim corolla, no JBL Sound System offered
15 inch tires are the best for public roads.. 18"s should be reserved for race tracks. I really dislike the trend to go 18-20" inch tires with no spare.. BTW you can purchase an aftermarket spare for the space that the flat tire kit is stored. It will fit... I'm trading my 2008 bmw 135i in for one of these... I'm so tired of expensive luxury brands that cost about 1 dollar per mile to maintain. 50+ mpg no matter how you drive is also simply amazing.... I'm actually surprised by how quiet this car is...
Yes trade it in, this car feels like Tesla, and its super comfortable!
Alas, someone said it! Thin tires emit more vibration into the cabin and into the engine too, 15" tires are some nice pillows.
It’s normal mode the best to drive ? If one drives on EV mode does the battery tend to go down?
EV mode its just for stop and go drives or parking lot drives, after the battery goes down the normal gas engine kicks in to charge it again.
It has both speedometer.
Yes it has, I thought It didn't, you just have to change it on the settings.
It goes to 160 km/h max or 240?? Because i am frustrated
It might go 240 down a mountain
Would you recommend this for Uber drivers? Or step up to a Camry?
This one rides better than the camry no road noise at all and saves tons of fuel. Definitely recommend for Uber
Are you from Germany cause your English sounded like german
Sounded Hispanic to me :)
It’s safe to drive it on highway?
Yes lacks on passing power though
@@jaygtestdrives thank you 🙏
suitability car
Very economical
