I'm enjoying my 21 Corolla hybrid also with the 1.8 motor. Best mpg average I've seen on the display is 67.6 mpg. Just hit over 9k miles on it.

Hi, I have the corolla hybrid 1,8, any advice of how to get more power from it? Maybe using 98 gasoline or it will not make effect? Thanks

Hi. Nice car you have there. I think there will be no difference with 98 octane gasoline. I've experimented with it in other cars but no significant results. Or maybe they will be so minimal as you will not feel it. I'd suggest to try to chip the car through professional car shop or if you want to bring it to the next level then get rid of all things that take weight in your car. I mean back seat spare wheel if you have one etc.

You don’t need premium for this car. Toyota recommends regular.

What does B in the gear shift relates to ? Is it for Brake ? Do we need to press the parking brake when the car is garaged and the sifter is in P for Park ?

Yes B is for harder engine brake which can be useful on long downhills. If you put the shifter to P then it sets the parking brake automatically on. So it is easy to use.

b is for using on very steep hills, or steep down hill you dont have to put your foot on the brake to change into B

That depends on which navigation you use. :)
But sure there must be navigation to my country. This was filmed in Latvia, you can look up Latvia on the map. :)

There is plenty of videos that makes reviews and talks about particular model, but sadly allmost none that shows the way you would drive the car and provides clear original audio of that vehicle. That's the aim of my videos. 🙂
