Not the love shack but the disco shack. Great time out there - really good. I gotta say I enjoy them Bla Bands. They're very tasty. Ideal for such an amazing remote place. All the best. Mark
Great adventure Guys , some cracking camp locations and the weather looked good too. Will have to check out the ikea stopp as I battle like hell with my sleepmat lol atb Dave.....
Proper expanse out in the Cairngorms. How much riding versus pushing the bikes did you manage? Some decent stretches didn't look too steep to tackle (says comfortably from sofa, lol). Is the extra weight of the camping gear an issue when peddling? I liked the windshield use at 11:05. Did you modify it to accommodate the mug handles yourself? Nice.
The only points I pushed the bike was to cross the 2 rivers. Gentle inclines there and back. The wind shield/pot stand was made by Speedster stoves for my Alpkit My Ti pot.
I see a lot of people favour a bike on some stretches of the Cairngorms paths. I wish I could still go a bike any real distance but knee says no. Looked like a great trip out and the lack of neighbours would have meant the party shack could go all night lol Great Stuff.
@@WalkWithWallace aw! Naw! It looked like anymore and that shack would have faced the possibility of being raised to the ground 😂 Are you guys sure that other bothy was derelict before you got there?
@@tombuidhe932 I bought a pair after that trip and I haven't used them since. They only go to the same height as gaiters, so any river crossing can't be higher than that.

Cheers Murray.
(Just catching up with some of your earlier videos!). Do you use the Pipedream 600 at this time of year?
I do yes. Do you have one or thinking of getting one?
Good stuff mate...that's one way to make a couple of the less grand hills a little more adventurous. :-)
Cheers David. 😁

Would yon Edinburgh chippy sauce work in the mackerel wraps? Interesting 🤔
Hmm, not sure on that. Though I did once get a mackerel supper from the chippie in Pitlochry, some chippie sauce could have been the difference. 😁
@@WalkWithWallace a mackerel supper?... that’s giving me the boke 🤢
@@danceswithwolves6841 it actually worked well. 😋 Prefer a haddock myself.

The lack of neighbours is a bonus, but the alcohol ran out pretty quickly. 😁

@@AScotsmanOutdoors 😁 when you next out mate or any vlogs waiting in the wings?
Very cool! What were those plastic things you used to cross the river with?!👍😎
They're festival wellies, very light and fold away. Get them from Feetz.co.uk
@@WalkWithWallace thanks for the info. I need to get a pair! Great video btw really enjoyed watching!👍😎
@@snowymatrix I'm getting a pair myself. I was quite impressed. Cheers 👍🏼
Great film Robin. What’s that wee building at 12:18 ? I don’t see it in the map.
Cheers Stewart, it's a wee open shelter just down from the lodge.
Robin Wallace: Walk With Wallace must be new. I’ve never seen it before.
@@smujiodome possibly, it's my first time in Glen Geldie.
Robin. How was your mate's hybrids ?
Fine mate, got in and out no bother. 👍🏼
@@WalkWithWallace thanks bud. Im going in on Friday with a different bike than first time ... and its a hybrid. Hopefully be ok.
@@tombuidhe932 as long as the tyres are not road tyres, then should be good to go. 😁
Aye they are off road tyres just bought them last week. What about Feetz ? You recommend them ?
