The EU countries should have backed out from this futile proxy war a long time ago - they are in it 90% out of loyalty to the US, leveraged via NATO. Unfortunately very few EU leaders are willing to take a clear-eyed view of the conflict and openly admit that it is a war fueled mostly by Uncle Sam and his overweening ambitions in Ukri and Eastern Europe, so criticism of NATO and their cold-war cronies has become politically homeless. All EIGHT parties in the Swedish parliament are for Swedishbmemebership of NATO and the RU, seeing no problem at all with those, and they're also for our continued armed assistance to Kiev (only exception on that one is the left-wing party, but they're too weak to do much abut it. Only three years ago there was no majority for joining NAT0 in the Swedish parliament

You should tell that to your Baltic neighbours, Poland and Finland as well. We have totally neglected our defenses, lost all our armies (only suitable for UN peace keeping operations) because there would never be a war on European territory anymore because only a fool would start such a war as he/she/it would lose more than what it ever would gain from it. But we forgot this idiot Putin, who wants the old empire back. We put ourselves in the totally dependend position of the US army and US weapon industry. For Sweden it is different, but all other EU members of NATO, except UK, has armies that are only able to defend their countries for 1 till 4 weeks. That is why all countries are now investing in their army and weaponindustrie and in 10 years time they may reach a certain minimal level to be able to protect their country without the help of the US (except for the nuclear part). Till than, everybody in the EU is very afraid that Trump will take the US out of NATO,that is prove enough.

@@f.vanderhelm598 Completely incorrect. Since the end of WWII and the formation of nato how many countries along Russia's border ever joined nato? Including Finland and Sweden. Until now.
You clearly have no idea of the history of WWII or the aftermath of WWII. Nor do you have any idea of the history of the country you think of as Ukraine.
Many countries have areas of territory that were NOT part of their country until they were added to it one way or another for various reasons.
Have you not considered the question as to why the Soviet Union annexed countries and regions such as Ukraine, Belarus, Donbas, Crimea and others?
Odessa for instance has a long history going back to ancient times. In 1792 Odessa became part of Russia. During the Russian Revolution in 1905 the mutiny on the Russian warship Potemkin took place in the Port of Odessa.
Odessa is named after the Ancient Greek colony of Odessos. There are also Ancient Greek ruins in Crimea. Obviously Odessa was part of the Soviet Union as was Ukraine for a long time. When Ukraine was annexed then Odessa becomes part of Ukraine.
There are other regions of Ukraine that were not part of Ukraine in the past. As is the case for many many countries as they are now.
History my friend...I mean real history not schoolbook history.
Also why do you think Britain's army could defend Britain for very long? We have had more than a few budget cuts. Back some years now westyminster said we do not need a big army anymore because there will be no more big wars. Instead we need a smaller rapid response army...to invade countries like Iraq..They didn't say the last part but may as well have.
You should also consider the huge amounts of resources europe has been buying from the Federation for a long time. More and more every year..not just gas and oil.
europe has pumped Billions into the Russian economy over these years and a fair bit into the Federation countries. europe became a cash cow for the Federation.
europe became dependent on Russia for it's gas and oil and other resources. Over these years do you not think the brussels brigade and presidents and PMs in europe have not visited Russia many times? And the Russian presidents to europe?
Then there was a world cup in Russia, winter games and many many westerners have been there for holidays and many moved to Russia to live there.
Unlike zelly whose presidency ended a little while ago, he re-appointed himself, the Russian President is elected in free and fair elections. They have democracy in the Russian Federation whether you like it or not.

@@f.vanderhelm598whose been paying you. Why would putin want the old empire back. You’re so stupid either you’ve been paid by the corrupt CIA or your government. How many times has putin said I’m ready to negotiate a peace agreement as long as there are no American basis on the Russian border with Ukraine. How many times do you know. 3 times and each time the corrupt USA put a stop to it. You realise that America in 1962 reacted the same way when the then uSSR installed missiles in Cuba it almost came to nuclear war. Again the aggressive Zionist’s in America started it by installing missiles in turkey directed at Moscow thank goodness president Kennedy did not listen to those neo Nazis abd each country withdrew their missiles from their relevant ally countries. America withdrew from turkey and the USSR from Cuba. So don’t speak rubbish when you don’t know anything. You know those corrupt CIA killed president Kennedy the following year because he was going to dismantle them. They lied to him and they keep lying to all their presidents. So don’t believe the zionists they’ve destroyed Europes economy and they’re destroying americas economy. We’ll see what trump does.

NATO is not a defensive alliance. They illegally bombed Yugoslavia (direct violation of the UN Charter). We must never forget what they did to Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria etc.

The official mission of NATO ended 25yrs ago. It is an offensive military group ever since, totally opposite of the Charter it had and has. It has been a military arm of the Establishment, the DeepState, the Globalists
or whatever name one chooses to use. End NATO.

There is a problem is there not? The problem being zelly's term as president has ended so he is not officially the president anymore. He appointed himself.
So technically speaking he has no real authority to negotiate anything. And even if he did a future president could decide any peace deal signed by zelly isn't valid.
