Ask Sachs why Yanukovych signed papers to hold new elections in 2014, why Ukraine parliament voted to remove Yanukovych from the office, why his own party supported to remove him or why people in Ukraine elected a different president in 2014? This part of the truth does not fit Sachs, but he is able to feed clueless enough people with his nonsense.

I wish Prof Sachs would write a book covering the approximately 100 US govt interventions in other sovereign countries. That book would probably be 1000+ pages long, if not more.
America is a colonial power that doesn’t act like the classical colonial empire. Instead of directly taking over countries, it uses proxies to perform these actions. That’s a newer mechanism. Someone should write a book about this.

I love Mo Gawdat. Ever since I heard him first on Steven Bartlet's podcast I admired his wisdom, inteligence, calmness. The touching story of his son's passing, how he left the corporate world etc. Bought several of his books, signed up to his podcast, this man pretty much became a role model for me. A person who'd I wish to have had as a father in my early years dare I say ... Well this absolute admiration was shaken by this episode. I'm not american, nor do I think America is perfect. It is an empire, dominating force in the world and I surely don't agree with many things that are happening there (most recently how can anyone sane even think Trump could be a leader of such country, that is beyond me). But demonizing the US in such a fashion as this moron of a guest, that's ridiculous. Pathethic arguments, just do a research on this intelectual wannabe., A russian/chinese propagandist in its purest ... You know Mr Sachs what is the ultimate truth? No matter what nonsense you spew out in the democratic "rotten" world, you are free to do so. If you were on the other side of the baricade, you'd be in prison or dead by now. I do understand that Mo originally comes from arabic world and to see what's happening in Palestine must be hurting him deeply. But bringing people like this to your podcast and seemingly agreeing with what they say is a step in the wrong direcetion

    Here you go folks:
The New York Times is owned and controlled by The New York Times Company, which has been publicly traded since 1967. However, the company is primarily controlled by the Ochs-Sulzberger family through a dual-class share structure that gives them a majority voting interest despite holding only a minority of the equity.
The family’s involvement dates back to 1896 when Adolph Ochs bought the newspaper. His descendants, including current publisher A.G. Sulzberger, continue to maintain control. The dual-class stock structure ensures the family’s influence, allowing them to steer the paper’s editorial direction and business strategy while protecting it from external takeover attempts.
The Sulzberger family holds Class B shares, which grant them disproportionate voting power compared to regular shareholders, ensuring their ongoing control of the company.

Sir, your opening statement is my the story of my life.I have read approximately 15K books and in recent years, I came to realize that everything that I read were all lies, but during my reading journey, sincerely believed everything that I read.
Today I am so upset with that episode of my life that I am ashamed of it, not the lies so much but I used to teach everyone I came in contact with.
I have lost faith in humanity and I am saddened to know that things are becoming worse.
