Wouldn't have been a good idea to clean the pad carrier and the springs before putting the new pads in? And what about some brake grease on the pad lugs before fitting. But most importantly...lubing the slider bolts to prevent the caliper sticking and cooking the discs!! Otherwise, great instructional video. :-)

I notice when he removed the brakepad spring it was on the front of the brake pad and when he installed the new one it was on the rear of the brakepad does it matter which side this is installed on?
No, it doesn't matter.
do i have to bleed the lines after this job?
Thank you for the feedback! It is recommended to pump the system and add a brake fluid, if the liquid has leaked from the brake reservoir suddenly when the caliper piston was squeezed out.Best regards, Autodoc.
Not being funny but he didn't clean anything, like the slide pins. No copper grease or silicone. Wouldn't let him anywhere near my car!
