So I did all the wiring but when I power on both dashboards & controllers I only get throttle on 1 motor (main dashboard). I rotated the frozen motor with my hand and tried the brake and it works fine, I just dont get any throttle on the controller that has the secondary dashboard. Any idea?
Hi, I need some help. You with the key turn on and off the scooter, I also inserted a key ignition, connecting on the +5 volt positive of the primary dash the key interruption and the negative of the key on the negative of the primary dash to read the + 5volt on the display ( Having two motors I did not know how to connect them on the 2 controllers to view the actual volts of the 48 volt battery). The problem is that because the two dashs are connected together with the yellow wire , even with the key off if I press the button on the primary dash turn on the secondary dash placed in the tube. How could I solve the problem ? thanks

The Bms are not smart and are the regular type that come with any lithium battery. The Bms are not connected to the controllers, as such you need firmware that has disabled Bms data input.

@@lukasgottschlich156 The Rita allows for changing an external battery if i needed to but also emulates bms functions so having that connected to the controller i still get battery charge level on the dash etc.

I am using xiaoflasher, because I use only one 48 volt battery and xiaoflasher allows me with the use of a small physical jumper on the esc and with the "emulate BMS" function to make the non-original 48 volt battery (Monorim) work without returning error 21. @@ivorys4664 Maybe I understand, you used Rita on the first controller to evade the BMS and emulate it, I will have to emulate it via firmware with the "Emulate BMS" option using Xiaoflasher or Xiaogen (better the second because I saw it more complete), also because if I understood with xiaogen you can set at the time of ignition, to turn on both dashboards in ECO mode to have them synchronized, which is not present on Xiaoflasher. One thing for the rear light, you say to connect the 3 pin (the lowest one in the esc photo) but what do you mean by + V signal? Thanks Max

I was just wondering about the wiring diagram, I have soldered the yellow wires together from both of the data cables that go to the controller but the primary dash will not turn on the secondary dash do you have any clue as to why this could be? Hi. Do you have identical firmware on both controllers using the option to reverse button function and also power on in eco mode. The reverse button feature swaps single / double press of dash button. So that it’s one press to turn on off scooter. The power on in eco mode just ensures both controllers are kept in sync.

Hi. I have heard a couple of cases where they had same issue, they had a mix of original and non original dash. If you have a mix this would be the reason, especially those Chinese clones with purple circuit boards. Best to use original. Other things to check, do you have compatible firmware, as in the power button config, I used reversed operation in firmware so that one button press equals change mode instead of double tap. If this is different on yours and even worse if not the same on both controllers would cause problems. Also in firmware set to always boot up in eco, this way you know both controllers are in sync as in modes.

There is no voltage on the yellow cable (it is just a data transmission)to turn on the dash you need the button that closes (instantaneously) the circuit between 36volt and gnd. @@landscapes3798 Hi, I used Xiaogen 204 as this was the version available when i did this. Do not go off the actual wire colors on your dash loom as specified in the wiring diagram they can vary. It is the +v wire which connect the two dash together and tells each dash to turn on change mode etc., its just yellow in my diagram.

@Красимир Гицов you tune each motor in the custom firmware for the relevant controller. There are two controllers, one for each motor, but the firmware is not identical on the controllers.

You know, the temperature test is worthless, because you compared rear motor with front. The rear motor is gonna be hotter as it has more load on it while accelerating.
Hey Thanks for comment, I am not sure if your statement is correct, If both wheels have same diameter and same amount of energy being supplied to them, how can one work harder than the other. Though i kinda see where your logic is in saying that, i am just not 100% sure. Not to worry though in future i shall swap front and back and see how that pans out as a test.
@@ivorys4664 Do you know how on powerful motorcycles the front wheel lifts up as they accelerate? The same happens in any rear wheel/ full wheel drive vehicle, but not always so extreme that it lifts up. Non the less, even if you dont see it lifting up, the weight does still shift to the back wheel so it works harder.

Most of the braking power comes from the front wheel on all vehicles. The mechanical brake almost does nothing. Sure it stops you faster, but not that much faster.
Es 1/2/4 have no mechanical brakes at all. But peoples still driving them somehow. For shure, it's better to have a mechanical brakes, but it's not necessary. You can add them to es 1/2/4 if you want as well.

Rear motor is china 350W or pro 300W?
usually the highest temperature on the red rim of the disc, i have 945W it so hot :)

you didn't have to modify ESCs? I see people switching FETs on ESC to make it support higher voltages.

Hi yes it works with extra batteries connected. With an AWD conversion the more power the better !!

you don t have problem with second controller (crash) when you connect with m365 downG? and go in battery setting?

Soldered to the 12v test points on the controller pcb. There are labeled 12v and pretty close to the 1000uf capacitor.

@Красимир Гицов the hardest part of what your doing will be getting the motor to fit in the frame, you may need to modify or engineer solution.
where did you get the power for the fan?
is there somewhere in the esc 4 - 10v?
Yes there is a 5v and also 12v test points on the controller circuit board, both are identified as such on the board.

no you would fry the mosfet, its made for one motor only, so two motor means 2 controler

If you can find an adapter to fit the standard frame and you add or upgrade the battery i dont see any reason you cant make a standard AWD.

This is a custom. Battery life with a stock battery isn't gonna be good. You need to build a custom battery.

Yes, Martin's is right, try to swap cooling from front to back. As well, oil filling of this Electric motors helps as well.
