Hey man I have an issue with either the wire connected to the dashboard or the controller. The cable disconnects and I got a new dashboard but when I opened the bottom cover everything is working, battery, wires, except for when I tap the wire connected to the wire which goes up to the dashboard it just switches modes, and turns on/off. I can't tell if it's the socket or the wire what do you think I should replace? Thanks a lot, love your videos.
Ok. I have a scooter with a 250 watt hub motor. Do i need to upgrade to a 350 watt hub motor? I'm just trying to get More speed. Im at 15mph right now stock.
hey man i bought my controller and plugged it in. I have the exact same scooter as you and the same controller, however the screen stays blank when i plug in the battery to the positive and negative (without the hall sensor plugged in, its 6 pin on the controller but 5 pin on the motor? and without anything else but the throttle plugged in). Am i doing something wrong, is there a wake up procedure to turn on the controller or it just turns on by itself?
@@MCPHILL I see, seems then my controller is defective.. I tried an og controller from it but never worked, what is even the problem if battery is outputting 37.7v and motor seems fine. Anyways, thanks for the reply!
@@MCPHILL thank you! after further digging I realized there is a small wire that needs to go between the connectors, that solved the issue. Escooter is now fully operational.
I installed this kit on the exact same hover 1 thought everything went smooth but when u power it on the front wheel motor moves a lilttle on its own then doesn’t do anything else battery is full
@@MCPHILL even hooked up that green continuous wire, and the front wheel spun continuously, but that was about it so I know I have everything right , ur probably right
I’m knew to this how do I know what controller to get for my scooter, also if I want it faster do I have to swap the battery out as well or can I just get a faster controller
Really appreciate this go through. I’m gonna have to replace my controller and I basically had no idea where to start.

I would honestly replace the controller and display. I'm not sure what the actual is without having it in front of me
How to connect display and throttle if you dont have display plug in controller?
This kit comes with all the proper connections between the controller, display, and throttle
@@MCPHILL sure, but how to wire it if you have controller without original plug...
@@josipkupresak9659 it comes with the wire that runs from the controller to the throttle/screen
@@MCPHILL do you have some phone number so I can send you a photo of my problem on whats app or e mail?
Dude cut the wires urself and connect them to eachother @josipkupresak9659
Hi there, I was wondering where you got your connection cable from?
It's the one that comes with the scooter
Thx homie
No problem
Do scooter goos now faster or slower? Thanks.
It goes faster now
@@MCPHILL i bogutht it, but power for led stop light and front light is 36v, it fried all led diods
@@MrSrbindogroba I'm pretty sure the leds are 5v, I never hooked mine up
@@MCPHILL i though same, but after connecting to multimeter, it says 41v ( battery voltage)
@@MrSrbindogroba that does seem a bit too high

On the new controller, you should just hold the red power button

@PankratiosVaseleus if you have a multi meter, see if you have any power at your controller connector

Do you think this will work on the hover 1 journey 2.0

You can keep the same battery. The first thing you need to do is find out what volt and watt your motor is and buy a controller that matches
