Mineral oil doesnt conduct electricty but just imagine time spend to seal the motor and then one tiny place where seal popsout due to oil pressure caused due to high temperatures and hours spend to clean up the scoot from oil ;)
@@santiagosimonazzi1562 no ? Getting it fully off the magnets might be impossible but theres no reason to do so, tho it dries up and you have to add more once a year or so, also you have to seal the motor housing with high temp silicone, one that doesnt corrode aluminum surfaces.
Hi mate, I am looking for a dual controller for my 2wd build. Would you recommend this controller as a good candidate? Or shall I try something else? Thanks a lot! @Pirate
just a quesiton i emailed u before about the coolers on the motor but where cna i get them i dont own a 3d printer i dont see anywere in europe who even prints stuff like that
Are the controllers stock? If not which ones do you use? How much Amps can I kinda safely and reliably push throught my stock pro 2 controller without reinforcing? Thanks for reply.
Hi, I just have a question: RT data shows the Power and Current of one motor or both together? A am a bit confused, because mine shows 2.9 kW in peak...
I've manage to to do conversion, so 2 motors, 2 vesc 4.20, Just for the testing phase 2x4ah Bosch 36V powertool battery, but i have a problem with braking. Each motors are on 25amps, the acceleration is still awesome even at this low settings, and i tried the braking power from 5 to 10amps but i am getting less stopping power Than when i only used 1 motor on 4amp.... What can be the problem? The vesc tool shows the right 10amp when i'm braking, but the scooter doesnt really want to stop.
the breaking in is powered by the battery too. Maybe your battery is really weak. I dont have info about bosh 36v battery but i dont trust those either. But try to search some esk8 forums. also breaking is negative. so -10amps?
Its cutting off bc you’re drawing more current than the battery is rated for and the bus is cutting power off as a safety. Using 2 controllers with independent batteries or 2 batteries in parallel should solve it
I've got a 48v battery (36v internal and a 12v external in series) Nd I get peaks of 2kw and just under 30mph everything else is standard apart from controller traces have been reinforced
this is just Ligth version i could not puch it mor cuz it was full power from battery :) , on my next one I will try to go over 4KW. and on 3rd m365 close to 6kw :)
@@PirateWasHere can you also do this tyre upgrade: ruclips.net/video/IkLg96kA_bs/видео.html These tyres should look great and work really well with the power you're working with.
@@PirateWasHere cap. You will need different motors, a way bigger battery that won't properly fit on Xiaomi, a longer handlebar for stability, and a damper. The cost of it altogether makes it a foolish idea and while you may have the same power as other scooters with the same power, you will lack very important features that can't be added or properly added such as suspension, etc. Modifying your Xiaomi scooter is not a bad idea if you are doing it at a lower cost than what it would cost to buy a scooter with the spec as the modded one.
@@mrzoro6121 Foc tune it will be fix. And important set the battery max. value should be divide by how many motors. So if you have 50a batter but you have 2 motors then 25a. Regenerative is about charging your battery.
1:43 dude what are you doing dude? You don't need to setup that parameters. All you need to do is set the amp rating Go to esk8 forums and copy what they do. If you have 30amps of max motor then you can do - 30 amps for breaking. And for battery how many p you have? what type 18650 or 21700? most 21700 can do 8a per cell so multiply that with your p (for example 5 parallel) then you have 40. Cause you have 2 motors to feed you need to divide that 40 /2 = 20amps ( each motor) so write that down 20amps for max battery. Regnerative breaking write down 5(parallel) x how many amps its okay to charge your battery. 1c? 3amps so 15 all? 3x5 = 15amps or less. Man study and stop making wrong information videos! Stop teaching your co-electric scooters the wrong way with VESC.
i was thinking the same my stock one goes about 25kmh already so I'm not sure how this is a sleeper and if only on full charge it goes that speed then that isn't really much. i thought with dual motor you'll get more push to maybe 40kmh but lets see what more you do later on.
@@PirateWasHere Are you using statorade or ATF inside the motor? It would help transfer heat from the motor windings to the casing where your motor cooler is.

Please elaborate how VESC knows exactly what is peak wattage power from battery or how much power can handle motor ? ;)

Just save up for a real scooter.
Have you heard of using atf fluid on these motors? Helps cool them down. Can get much more power out of them.
What do you mean?? How would that work without causing a short circuit?
Mineral oil doesnt conduct electricty but just imagine time spend to seal the motor and then one tiny place where seal popsout due to oil pressure caused due to high temperatures and hours spend to clean up the scoot from oil ;)
Statorade (Grintech) is great for helping with heat transfer from the motor core to the outer shell

he used Flipsky FSESC controllers, hes using about 30A per motor
How did you make it so that the two hub motors have regen brake? That's my biggest doubt right now.
Regen is pointless tbh, you lose more In Drag than what you gain

Do you use 2 controllers ? U can set the braking amps lower in custom firmware

how much does it all weigh?
No way a battery that can fit in that deck can put out more than 40-50amps you need a stem mounted or add a deck spacer
