I was teaching a group music class today and all of my students said I was sounding very soft. I'm using the Yamaha MG10XU and my settings on the mixer were golden. I already knew how to do a mix-minus. At a couple of points (after playing music) my microphone was totally muted. I had no explanation. This video has saved me ! Looking forward to trying the new settings tomorrow. I'm about to practice the new Zoom settings on a family member before it really counts. Thanks for the video!
Great video. Trying to do this with a Zoom H6. I think there is a mix minus option in the menu system. Will experiment, you have pointed the way. Thank you.
Thanks for audio tutorial on zoom with mixer i am confused why you mix minus channel 3 (zoom to mixer) on main mix? isn't channel 3 doesn't contain mic and music anymore because zoom already mix minus that?
I’m a newbie to a mixer and podcasting. I bought a Zoom Livetrack L-8. My dedicated TRS line/cell phone input will be for one of my co hosts in another state than me. I need to create a mix minus to do Zoom/Skype calls for guests around the world to be on the show. Can you tell me how to setup cable wise & everything else either on an older MacBook Pro or older HP laptop (what plugs into what, from the mixing board to the computer)? Along with how to get Zoom up and running through the mixer after I’ve got it all correctly running through the mixing board cable wise? Also what cables do I need to buy to hookup a MacBook Pro or HP laptop to the mixing board? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
How to set up audio when doing a hybrid Zoom meeting with attendeed both on Zoom and in a cenference room with projector and speakers, where everybody should be able to speek with each other? Is this a mix minus setup or something completely different like noise gate on microphones in the physical conference room ?
used to work perfect when using OBS however when I replaced it with streamyard to do the streaming I do get the feedback, nor Irig 1 or 2 works on this... :( I'm using a behringer xenyx x2222usb with a M-Audio Mtrack 2x2 and getting the irig to the pc for zoom calls not the phone... any pointers will be appreciated thanks! Hi from Utah
Using an X32 mixer and still trying to figure out how to run a Zoom meeting through a PA system with multiple mics. The question is the incoming audio bleeding into the mics as we hear the incoming audio in the PA and resulting in delay/repeating due to lag.

How would you go about routing audio if you also had to supply amplified sound to a live audience in the same room as the main speaker and the mixer?

Are you using the auto mixer feature on those mics? Maybe that would help bring those open mics down for you
Does Teams act the same way?!
Thank you Sir
Great tip thank you
