    Looking Strong 💪
    No need to apologize. It's a personal preference and should be up to the rider...and family not influenced by someone on RUclips. You do you, but ride safe!

    Wow people really left for that reason. I went out for the first time without proper gear a month ago also. My wife and I were going to a local park to go walk with the baby. She was driving and I was riding, she left the house before me and was very upset when I pulled up wearing armored pants and a dry fit Columbia short sleeve shirt. The part that hurt the most while she was scolding me was wen she said " what happen to the ATGAT ( All The Gear All the Time)" in my mind I was like damn she right. I have a summer armored shirt like yours but I wore it one day to go grab some milk and OJ from the corner store and my arm pit was a lil stinky and now no matter how much I was it incant get the smell out of the shirt. My wife said it because of the fabric. That's why I didn't wear it that day cuz I didn't like the smell. Laps in judgement, and a moment of temptation that I failed but deff a learning moment for me

      Lol, wives, have a way, don't they??? Lol, I understand completely. I figured if folks are leaving my channel for that reason, then let em and good luck to them. Really, no hard feelings except I believe that they were just looking to start a little drama. Anyway, thanks for sharing this. Excellent comment!!! My main point was not to come across as a hypocrite or that I'm trying to lie about how I ride sometimes. Also, I don't want new riders to think that no protection is okay.

      @@meandmyshadow7839 true that I'm a new rider my self. At the end of the day we are all human. No one is perfect. I was all about ATGAT and I still rode with less. I've been watching RUclips vids like yours for about 5 years before I finally got a bike. So I'm well Informed but not perfect still just me.

    It is the rider's choice, 100%, but it's also someone else's choice whether or not they want to be a party to it or not... I won't watch any channel where anyone doesn't take personal safety seriously... I've lived in the south all of my soon to be 55 years, rode through 110+ temps in a full faced helmet & never once regretted it... it's never too hot to protect your head... I don't ride with people who don't have at least a decent helmet, boots, & long pants minimum either... I'll go my own way if I pull up to a group & see that... it's just a play I can't & won't back... they'll eventually learn the hard way, better to have it & not need it, than to need it & not have it, and that's 100% their choice, but it also doesn't obligate me to watch them do it either... you won't get a redo when your wreck happens, & no matter how slow you go, that pavement is still harder than your head, & that bike still weighs what it weighs when it's on top of you, no matter how fast it got there...

    After seeing what happened3. to MotoGiant (he lost his foot in an accident), I have gone back to ATGAT. This includes actual motorcycle boots.
    Edit: this is the one you were talking about. He said he wasn't wearing his motorcycle boots at the time.

      Yes, that's who I was speaking of. Wasn't sure about the gear he had on. Thanks for clearing that up.

    Please place the link for finding or buying this riding shirt. And do they sell it in colors other than black? Also, what is the name of this riding shirt? I am a new rider, have had my bike for a little over a month, and some days it's brutally hot. Currently have a Revit Eclipse 2 Jacket and an Iron Workers Riding Chinos. The combination feels very warm when it's more than 92 degrees out. The chinos are not vented so I think it's the bigger culprit, but it has the advantage of looking like office work pants. The Eclipse 2 is very useable under 85 degrees, okay in 85 - 92 degree weather, but above that temperature it's somewhat unbearable unless I'm at speed and jacket is partially unzipped.

      I don't have the link for the shirt. I tried to find it, but no luck. The name of the shirt is Bhon body protection. www.BohnArmor.com. I usually wear the icon brand of jacket (you can see it in my videos. The Contra 2 is the style. Has D30 armor. Which is soft and pliable until impact where it will instantly go ridged. It is some of the best armor protection out there, in my opinion. I hope this helps.

    What's safety gear? ~ Gen X....
    Should be geared up beyond push-bike speeds. Accidents do happen close to home though, statistically.
    Australian postal service is ran of the honda 80 now 125 hence why we call them postie bikes here not cubs and yeah they just open face helmet thats it, never going fast enough to care.

    Hey brother hope youre having a good day, Im trying to pick between the honda shadow 750 ACE or Aero (Chain Drive Dual Carb or Shaft Drive Single Card) Im a big fella and 6ft. Would appreciate any advice

    • @meandmyshadow7839
      @meandmyshadow7839  5 месяцев назад +1

      I prefer chain drive myself. It's just more torque. Not a ton more. However, just enjoy the drive of a chain. That being said, you have to worry more about chain maintenance. With the shaft, you do not have that issue. Honestly, both are excellent, in my opinion, but the chain drive edges out the shaft for me.

    • @meandmyshadow7839
      @meandmyshadow7839  5 месяцев назад +1

      Also, you can easily change the sprocket with chain drive. Just an afterthought of my first reply. Honestly, it comes down to which you prefer. Less maintenance or a slightly torqueier (is that a word lol) drive. As far as dual carbs, I believe that two are better however again more maintenance.

      @@meandmyshadow7839 Im so close to saving up to buy either 120,000EGP/160,000EGP. 2 things that make me worried about the chain is if it snaps and hits my leg and I heard that the sound of the chain is louder (Im not sure how much louder).

    • @meandmyshadow7839
      @meandmyshadow7839  5 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not sure about the sound difference . I personally believe that can be controlled with the pipes. As far as chains snapping, it can happen. However, chain maintenance and frequent inspection for proper tension is key. For me, it's a habit and repetition. I'm just used to it. Like I said, there is less worry with shaft drive.

      @@meandmyshadow7839 is the torque difference noticeable? also I read somewhere that the ACE has more real chrome than the aero
