Just bought it two weeks ago in white color and absolutely love it! Most important part is ECE 22.06 rated which more expensive counterparts aren’t! Ventilation is great too

My friend bought a scorpion exo a year after I bought my hjc Rpha70 and his lining is already deteriorated, the chin strap button fully ripped off. And he rides less than I do. It's about 5 years old. 6 years in my hjc and it's still in good shape. Great review. Very thorough. Looks like a great choice for someone on a budget
Scorpion helmets are the best value for money helmets in my experience. For street I used Scorpion R710 also because sticking a GoPro for my vlogs was a lot easier. When I started making track videos for my channel, I got a Scorpion EXOR1 which is less than half the price of other brands' helmets, it's just a bit tricky to stick a chin mount on that one.
Bell has a great helmet in this price range and even cheaper fwiw. I think it’s called the eliminator and then there’s also one that’s priced higher but includes the “auto tint” / transitions shield. even the $150 version has a better liner than my old shoei.
Bro thanks for being honest with us. I’m using the exo scorpion too for the last 5 months and still super happy with my purchase. Greetings from Portugal ❤️
The shell structure of AGV K1 is Thermoplastic. However, the shell of the SCORPION helmet in this video is fiber, which is a much stronger and lighter material, and the price difference is very small, so SCORPION is still a more logical product.
Love Scorpion brand. When I was looking for a first, good helmet, I went through a few before finding this brand and it was a perfect fit. Such a good price point, too. For the ventilation - is it possible it didn't feel like the top vent was open or closed because the lower vent was closed? I always thought the two kinda worked in conjunction with each other. But I could be wrong.
Scorpion is on it with a some of their helmet offerings. They could have done a better job with the AT960; Setting it up for a proprietary comms system was a bit of a bonehead move and those modular helmets tend to be heavier. I went with an XT9000. It cost me $500, but it has a carbon fiber shell, the AirFit system, airflow is good, the front vent cover is removable and comes with an action cam mount, emergency pull tabs, and it still comes with the clear and tinted pinlock ready shields with a pinlock insert. Field of view is great. So I'd say it's still a value at $500. The peak on the XT9000 is removable for more of a clean street look, but I like the extra sun protection, and it hasn't caused any head turning at 55 mph. I haven't been on any highways where I needed to go faster than 55, but I've seen input from others saying they haven't had any head turning issues even at higher speeds. Scorpion is definitely worth a look for anyone looking to buy a helmet.
Scorpions a great budget company but I also really like HJC’s budget options. My $80 HJC is comparable to that Scorpion with similar performance and comfort and has the same safety ratings

I have a similar visor mount in my Shark helmet, it is very fragile and breaks off in couple weeks/months, which means buying two visors a year. Maybe Scorpion uses better material but spending additional money on a yearly basis just to use the helmet made the Shark pointless
I am a new rider and I’m looking for helmet i am between Scorpion EXO-520 Evo Air or the AGV K1 S what would you recommend? Both are at same price
I have to say, as an HJC loyal owner for so many years, the Scorpion is heading for the right direction. I am a believer in the old timer helmet companies.
How's the aerodynamics on it at high speeds on a naked bike for example? I have the R420 and was questioning if this or the R1 Air would be next helmet for me.
Hello, I am wondering what size hat are you? I am 7 1/8. Should I go for the X-small? Thank you..
Hi, can you do a review on the NOLAN N100-5 UPWIND ? thanks
Bro, heard the bgm and was super confused at first😂 i was like ”is that swedish? No it cant be right?” And it actually was😂 first time i’ve heard anyone use a song in swedish as the bgm😂
You should go check out the liners in Shoei’s at a cyclegear near you. My old shoei liner from a decade ago was crap too but the materials game has moved forward a lot for most companies who aren’t Ruroc
I already owned the rf1400 - the newest rf. It’s the same liner
@@adobomoto ah okay I missed that, that’s wild they haven’t upgraded it…kinda depressing because I love how they fit and was going to check them out. :/
The description online says that it has emergency quick release for emergency services
I use scorpion exo t1200 touring helmet because got lot of air going through it but now stop making because of wind noise!
Hey adobo, I've noticed that with the new camera on a small screen like a phone's it is kind of nauseating because of the wide lens
Still, great video!
Have an nc700x gives the same feeling cruiser vibes as these, same reason I'm selling it
Hey... could you please suggest which one is better kyt tt course or scorpian exo 491
you should test the hjc rpha 70 also very popular helmet, only thing i dont like is it uses diffret size chart than standard so L for me was to tight when a normal L works perfekt
The level of disrespect $250 is not budget to some ppl
Is this harley division x15 this same helmet? Just curious because I know they dint make there own helmets, it looks the same and they currently have white on sale for 150
😁"Scorpion Covert FX" not "Scorpion Cover FX"....just saying. 😅
I have the Scorpion Covert-X T-Rust Matt White Red Jet Helmet (ECE 22.05 approved) for under £85/$100!
One of the best, most comfortable and quiet, helmets I've ever owned (admittedly not quite as safe as the FX).
btw, I'm an ADV rider (1985 Honda XL600LMF), even though the helmet has "RACER" printed on the back.
EDIT: ps. great review!
I was just wondering how you record your sound while riding. My external mic doesn’t filter out any sound.
Would it be overkill to get a helmet like this for my talaria sting r? I’m in the market for a new helmet but don’t really want to get another motocross helmet and who knows maybe this will encourage me to get an actual bike
I was debating to get agv k1-s but your review is making me rethink my choice. Thanks for the great review
I’ll check this helmet out for my second helmet. Have you tried any Nolan helmets?
I have an xlite x803 helmet and the new exo R1 both in carbon, the liner on the xlite is better in my opinion, feels like a premium helmet liner so soft on the face, and it’s lighter than the exo,it’s noisier than the scorpion and it does not have pockets for a cardo, field of vision is the same on both!!ventilation is better on the xlite,if that helps,Nolan and xlite are the same company!!
Please do a review of agv k5 , lot of people teling me that this helmet is quite noisy , but I only had AGVs so do nOt have anything to compare .
were you wearing earplugs on the ride (highway noise test to be specific)?
