dont know if you saw my comment on the last post but here it is again: For your friends R1m with the throttle slack. There is a post on the r1-forum by a guy called R1mG titled "2021 r1m throttle relearn". The thread shows how you can remove the slack/play in the throttle before it revs which makes it feel less on/off and strange. Id recommend checking that out if hes interested in fixing the issue!

Maybe these tips will help you, I race a r6. These bikes they dont make power after 15,200 rpms, so if you want to squezze all the power shift at 15,100 or 15,200 if you shift at 16,000 thats almost a 10hp loss and putting wear n tear on the engine. Another issue, is your forks they look to be too low, meaning the front end is too low. Try this, put the bike on a front triple stand make sure the front wheel is fully extended. Grab a tape measure and measure from the top of the lower triple clamp to the center of the front axle. Many guys run at 525-530mm if your front end is too low the bike would feel unstable. I highly recommend you find a good suspension tuner to help with the bikes geometry. Another thing that may help you is to spread apart your handle bars, you have race clip ons. Take benefit in getting the front handle bars as straight as possible. This will give you better feel for the front end. But keep it up, your riding has improved greatly. A good tool to use if you want to be more smoother and have better lines is to play around on minigp's on small karting tracks. These little bikes are great tools, for you I wouldnt hop on a ohvale 190, I would start slower maybe kayo 150. Even kayo you can break the tire loose on exit

That sucks, I can hear the throttle drop off aggressively while leaning over... back wheel weight shifts to the front and back looses grip.. (ie not settled/confident to keep throttle on 1-5% in corner as scrubbing speed off instead) this takes practice and I'm no different and had my own close calls on track days and learn from every mistake I made.. I don't spend 40hrs a week on a race track either so anyone is allowed to critique me! (CBR500, CBR650, SUZUKI GSF1250F) - its gets very real on track surface when committing to a pace and line and holding it till the next maneuver unlike street squids do to get their giggles on public roads seconds at a time.

Man I’ve been riding and driving for many years now. I just never had a motorcycle license. I know irresponsible but just never had one and never really had any issues. I’m from Ny moved to Nj and went to dmv this past weekend to take the knowledge test for the permit. First time I ever failed that kind of test. In Jersey it sucks. They stick u in a room were the rest is on a computer not paper like NY and it’s people coming in and out through out the entire test and it’s loud so it’s hard for me to concentrate unlike in Ny where it’s on a paper and it’s in a closed room on a time limit where everyone starts at the same time and is very quiet. All the questions i answered till I failed where mostly about alcohol consumption which I don’t know much about since I don’t drink at all and really never have and I’m 33 yrs old. There was really only about 6 question outta the 22 I completed that where related to bikes and the road which I got them all correct. Gonna just take the msf course and I would’ve done that to begin with I just never have the time due to work. It sucks. But is what it is.
