- The beautiful and unique 'Aura' Eau de Parfum by Mugler, along with the EDT and Sensuelle flankers. Sadly discontinued - the last big perfume release before Mugler's passing and the L'Oreal buyout of Clarins group who had been producing Mugler fragrances since 1997.

The EdP is not discontinued! but it has been reformulated by L'Oreal (also due to the IFRA Lilial ban). Would love a comparison video :) The new one says Azzaro Mugler on the box.
Thank you so much for your videos, they are almost therapeutical to me! I'm a die-hard Thierry Mugler fan and I resonate with literally every word you say about him and his fragrances. I'm not as brave as you are to accept that that era is over. I turned my back to the new house, I don't want to call his name any more, but... I just wanted to say that Aura is still available on the official website, EDP only though, but it-s available in all sizes and there;s a fountain and a refill as well. You are just too adorable! I watched this video when you first posted it, but I think I was still sorta grieving Mr. Mugler and his line. I hope we will keep his legacy alive. He changed the fragrance game. Thanks so much for this review. I made sure to come back to say this to you :)

Looking foward to picking up the edp! Got the edt maybe 6 months ago. Bottle is amazing! Smells wonderful minus the ...ok ready for this a kitty cat poop smell. I was shocked. I've heard people say some fragrance can pull a urine smell but not the other. I had my daughter smell it and she immediately said the same thing. Smells that way on paper and skin. Really thinking about erasing this but maybe will send. Hope you and anyone who reads isn't offended. Wasn't meant to gross anyone out. Still so surprised and wonder if we are the only ones. Should try it again now that it has sat a while..maybe maceration will help after being mailed to Hawaii????

I’ve never worn Aura EDP outside the house. I’ve had it less than a year and have only sprayed it a few times. I appreciate the originality-I have nothing else like it-but not sure if it’s a like or not.
Love your reviews. I tried this again yesterday after having tried it when it was originally released and was surprised that it seemed more vanilla heavy and less impactful in the top notes then I original recall it smelling like. I wonder if it was reformulated. Anyway, love it too.
Thanks so much Anne! I don't think any of the Aura scents were reformulated because L'Oreal didn't intend to keep producing them. However, I definitely think the ingredients in Mugler age and transform a bit with time - I've noticed the same thing you mention with my older bottle of Aura :)
the EDT - sounds like you are describing the rhubarb note. for the EDP -- it is more like boiled rhubarb leaves. very VEGETAL green. lol! I need to try the EDT, I think!

Has anyone found a good substitute for Aura Sensuelle?
I found this just before it got discontinued and hoarded some, but eventually I will need to find a new perfume. :'D
I need help in distinguishing an original Aura from a fake one. Is metalic M made of metal or metalized plastic? Thank you
The silver M is metalized plastic - I doubt there were fakes of Aura made because it never got the mass popularity of Angel and Alien.

I haven’t smelled any of the other auras. But that green one smells like that old root beer candy. Nothing else. I love the bottle but would not care to smell like that.

Womanity in a nutshell! Womanity should've been a hit! The masses always claim to want something different, and when it's handed to them, they refuse to support it unless it's discounted. So sad
