To me, Aura is #1. Edp (my favorite) is more creamy and rich and dries down to an awesome woody vanilla, whereas the edt stays sour-light-fruity-musky which can be ok for a hot day. Just like their bottles, edp is a heavier darker green scent,and the edt is a lighter green sparkly with more true sour rhubarb.
I'm late to the party because everyone told me Aura is weird but having tried it recently, to me it's easily the most beautiful Mugler I've smelled! I loved Eden by Cacharel back in the day (sadly it's being discontinued) and it was another weird supersweet green magic tropical potion and it's about the only thing I can think of that's similar.... although Aura is WAY more vanillic and less fruity than Eden they are definitely sisters, and if you like Aura, grab Eden while it's still around and going cheap!
If the Angel Muse EDP or Angel gets discontinued, I will spiral into a depression. If Alien gets discontinued, I may have to march and protest at L’Oréal headquarters.
I clicked on this soo fast 😁. My best perfume reviewer thought about us the women and graced us with this video. I’m a big fan of Mugler and have all the perfumes you mentioned and more. I actually like the Aura cos it’s unique (sweet, long lasting and gets me compliments), Womanity is also unique (didn’t like it the first time I smelled it but was stunned the second time). I also like Angel, Angel Muse and Alien (my babe ❤️). Thank you Sebastian 💕
Aura all day ❤️ it lasts for so long, so unique, never smelled it on anyone else and the bottle is a joy to my eyes. I think women who don't favor fruity/floral scents are more likely to go for Aura. I never enjoyed Angel or La Vie Est Belle for example but I adore Aura or strong Tom Ford perfumes like Metallique and that one too has been reviewed as smelling synthetically at first.
Fruity, salty, aquatic, Womanity is such a unique and delicious experience. I’ve received so many compliments from men when wearing this. Maybe because it’s more unisex than other Mugler offerings but I find it a great juxtaposition with its name. Love! ❤❤❤❤
Oh man I just got Womanity and the opening threw me off. It's so strange. But it wears so well on me, and I've been obsessed with it this summer. As someone who isn't a huge fan of sweet fruity and citrus fragrances, Womanity is a perfect summer fragrance for me. Honestly one of my favorites in the Mugler line.
Aura takes some getting to know, that's for sure 😊 As a small child we used to play in a wooded area behind the house "The Woods" and this reminds of playing there for hours in the summer. I'm going to stick my neck out and suggest that the medicinal smell is Wintergreen which was/is used to scent Germolene, the thick pink antiseptic cream my mother put on our grazed knees. That smell almost certainly ties into the same memories for me. Probably best suited to summer rambles, breaking the walk for icecream in a village tea shop.
I love Aura! I do agree with you review, it is very objective, aura is a very odd one. However, I love the opening. I found it very relaxing 😌, when it starts drying out it goes sweet-green like sugar cane then the vanilla kicks in and at the end the woody notes appear at the end giving me magical forest vibes. That is my stay home fragrance, is the comforting one.
Angel is my all time favorite fragrance. I wear it for over 20 years and I love it just as much. I have more than 50 different scents but somehow still reach for Angel. I am so happy there is someone out there (other than myself) who loves Angel. I think it is extraordinary and even though there are so many inspired scents released by many other companies none of them managed to even come close to it.

I randomly smelled Aura at a duty free and I loved it so much right away. Of course I forgot which one I had sprayed, so I had to backtrack and smell all the ones I sprayed again. The second I found it I had to have it. Its SO good.
Me too, it’s sweet with a hint of mint when it dries down. It’s unfair to just smelling it from paper or from the bottle. They supposed to wear it and smell the sillage (trace).

I love Womanity. But it is true at first it is kind of challenging (the old formulation) but after letting it dry down it gets so beautiful. I smell an ocean breeze with woody notes and it also has a touch of citrus. Unfortunately they changed the formulation it is quite obvious. The new one is a lot less salty (not as challening I guess) and it is sweeter. The fig fruit does come out a lot more and the salty notes get way in the background. But still I just recently got into fragrances and Womanity is my all time favorite so far. I love it. Also just got a small bottle of angel muse edp and this one is nothing like I imagined it (thankfully not as sweet as I thought it would be). I really like it and I think I would love it on my boyfriend as well. This is totally unisex to me. As is Womanity (especially the original formulation).
AURA is my SIGNATURE SCENT. By far my favourite out of all the Muglers. I find Angel nauseating, Angel Muse yummy and Alien is very sexy. But Aura is so unique and rare. I don’t prefer the Aura edt and sensuelle just because it’s too “safe” and not as risky as the edp. I have yet to try Womanity but since most people dislike Aura I might like it too who knows!
Angel smelled heavenly when it was first launched. But along the way , it changed . I’m not sure is it they change the formulation or whatsoever, it just smelled different. In the early 90s , Angel has this well balanced and full bodied opening , creamy and smooth , flavourful even towards the end. And then a few years later , from the same reputable departmental store , it smelled different . The opening was sharp and choking , almost smelling like it has turn rancid . The original heavenly scent was Long gone.
All Mugler perfumes are unique and special.They have great sillage a last for ever!!!! l am an alien 👽 fan..l also love absolute alien..and womanty is incredible for summer..but l appreciate all of them.

I adore Aura. At one point, I would say I was obsessed by it, and I don’t mean it just like the casual it-frase of young youtubers, but something quite stronger (although not *literally* obsessed). I think it was two summers ago, I smelled it and liked it much more than Alian and Angel. I started spraying my wrists every time walked by a perfume counter, and soon I was actually seeing to going by a perfume counter as often as possible. In the end, I had to buy it, even though I was a bit short on money, but I really *needed* it. I was fascinated by my own reaction, it was like some kind of primal need. It’s settled down now, but it is still very special to me, and I definitely reach for it for comfort. Oh, yeah, I was 48 years old when this happened, so I’m 50 now, and I can’t really relate to the comment about it being marketed to young women. I don’t remember if you said that here, or in the video where you had a sample of Aura. Maybe it’s true, it’s just that I don’t perceive it as a young fragrance. Out of the others, I also like Muse. Just conflicted about buying the EdP or EDT. I would love to love Alian; white floral, amber and woody should be right up my alley. However, there is something throwing me off, I’m guessing the Jasmin is of the kind that doesn’t gel with me.

I've come to love Aura. The Edt has a better opening but the dry down is not as good (IMO). It's one of the few fragrances in my collection that can be worn all year around. I don't have to be in a mood to wear it. Plus it last all day. Aura is like the middle child of the bunch. You don't have to worry about her, she's not going to give you any trouble like her sisters (Alien or Angle). Aura is easy going and good.
I love aura. Previous mugler fragrances contained main notes i couldn't appreciate like : patchouli, jasmin or amber . Since aura is vanilla centric i was happy to find a fragrance in the house of mugler. The weird medicinal smell you perceive i register as a type of conifer/ wintergreen on fragrantica only listed as 'green notes' which i love . Maybe it smells better to those who have smelled the tree/plant origin. I do admire Mugler's concept perfumery. From scent to bottle to marketing it all ties into a unique perfume experience.
I wore it when my hubby and I first dated. It was a gift from a family friend, and i had the mini size roll on. I just got a new bottle of it and I look forward to wearing it again

To my surprise, I really like Aura. I actually prefer Aura to Alien. I so wanna like Alien, but the only flanker that is not cloying on my skin is Alien eau Sublim. But my number 1 from Mugler is definitely Angel Muse ❤❤❤
I watched a couple of videos by women about Angel Muse and they said they’d love to smell Angel Muse on a man, I have Pure Havane , so I was intrigued and I blind bought Angel Muse. I’m glad I did. I absolutely love it and wear it.
When Angel came out, I remember it so vividly, at my local department store, being drawn to it cause of the packaging and the star bottle, I sampled from a tester and recoiled!!! 😆.. I thought "wtf is this?!?! “

So weird. I understand Aura is very weird at first. But as it settles down it really reminds me of Spain, makes me feel grand. I picture myself wearing a black tight dress, black heels, black crossbody Handbag (maybe Chanel? Lol) with a good red lipstick on date at night by the beach...even in Greece or something . When I smell Aura, places like Spain, Morocco, Africa come in mind..❤️Different but I feel like you have to understand it to like it. Now, I would never suggest wearing it in the office.😅

Aliens has been a favorite for many years. From the very first spritz it’s like my mind is going on a bender! Quickly chasing the top note, leading me through the middle woodsy note, arriving to the base of lingering musk and amber to watch a firework show. Woah. He’s right. It’s like a neon color. It’s strange. I like it because it isn’t “too loud” but it’s bright and confident composure is meaningful. Talk about layering a perfume. What in the world creates this effect I’m describing? I’ve been around A LOT of perfumes and none has had such an effect before Aliens.

I bought a flanker of Angel inspired by instyle bc I live in a small town in East Texas and we get Alien in regularly but not Angel. So I will be driving to get it at another town. But I like your reviews on all of these and btw I think Alien is so awesome! It’s different.
Polarizing is used a lot to describe this house. True story: I worked with an RN who wore Angel EDP as her signature fragrance. She couldn’t understand the complaints👀.
I heard Angel EDT is better than Angel EDP and that the ones sold currently are not the same as the ones formulated in the 90s. On fragrantica it has angel formulated in 2016. I am a little confused but I do like the angel that I smelled at Ulta.
I enjoy some of the flankers to the fragrances more than the original fragrance. I happen to like the Musc Mysterieux version of Alien a little bit better than the original fragrance, although I do really love Alien.
So happy to hear your thoughts on Mugler from descriptions of bottles to notes and over all. Honestly Aura just love bottle, Also Alien original too strong for my nose. Angel good, flanker 2020(fig) even better!!! You're the one who introduced me to Mirage, my favorite for now. Womanity still not try yet. And of course gourmand MUSE🧡. But those bottles amazingly beautiful
It’s interesting that you say Alien reminds you of neon colors from the 80’s, because to my nose it smells so similar to the 80s fragrance Colors, by Benetton.
I went thru so many bottles of Alien original and remember it w lots of synthetic grape and champagne zing, which I loved! Mugler Alien smells more of natural sambac jasmine to me, which oddly I do not like at all. However I just found a discounter and picked up 4 backup bottles of original Alien 👾 👾

Lolita Lampika original EDP is a nice licorice LIGHT ANGEL scent. Together is a fun option too!

Angel was the first parfum I bought as a teen. I bought Alien about 3 years ago, I still wear it. I just blind bought Angel Muse...Delicious 😋.
Aura Mugler has such a unique scent that you can use it as your signature scent. Not everyone wears it or can wear it. Such an amazing composition

Look for the Angel Glamorama blackish bottles. It was a limited release, but supposed to be identical to the original juice.

I just bought the Alien Musc Mysterieux and it's definitely a unisex fragrance. It reminds me of MFK Grand Soir. I like it! 👌

I don't have to be in a mood to wear it. Plus it last all day. Aura is like the middle child of the bunch. You don't have to worry about her, she's not going to give you any trouble like her sisters (Alien or Angle). Aura is easy going and good.

I love aura. Previous mugler fragrances contained main notes i couldn't appreciate like : patchouli, jasmin or amber . Since aura is vanilla centric i was happy to find a fragrance in the house of mugler. The weird medicinal smell you perceive i register as a type of conifer/ wintergreen on fragrantica only listed as 'green notes' which i love . Maybe it smells better to those who have smelled the tree/plant origin. I do admire Mugler's concept perfumery. From scent to bottle to marketing it all ties into a unique perfume experience.
Angel is one of my favorites of all time.
I wore it when my hubby and I first dated. It was a gift from a family friend, and i had the mini size roll on. I just got a new bottle of it and I look forward to wearing it again

To my surprise, I really like Aura. I actually prefer Aura to Alien. I so wanna like Alien, but the only flanker that is not cloying on my skin is Alien eau Sublim. But my number 1 from Mugler is definitely Angel Muse ❤❤❤
I love Mugler. Not crazy about Aura and original Angel but I appreciate them. Alien, Muse and many flankers are loves!!
I watched a couple of videos by women about Angel Muse and they said they’d love to smell Angel Muse on a man, I have Pure Havane , so I was intrigued and I blind bought Angel Muse. I’m glad I did. I absolutely love it and wear it.

When Angel came out, I remember it so vividly, at my local department store, being drawn to it cause of the packaging and the star bottle, I sampled from a tester and recoiled!!! 😆.. I thought "wtf is this?!?! “

So weird. I understand Aura is very weird at first. But as it settles down it really reminds me of Spain, makes me feel grand. I picture myself wearing a black tight dress, black heels, black crossbody Handbag (maybe Chanel? Lol) with a good red lipstick on date at night by the beach...even in Greece or something . When I smell Aura, places like Spain, Morocco, Africa come in mind..❤️Different but I feel like you have to understand it to like it. Now, I would never suggest wearing it in the office.😅

I love Angel i worn that back in late 90 or early 2000’s it is my favorite i also got Alien few months ago it smell nice but i wouldnt wear it again after i finish it

Aliens has been a favorite for many years. From the very first spritz it’s like my mind is going on a bender! Quickly chasing the top note, leading me through the middle woodsy note, arriving to the base of lingering musk and amber to watch a firework show. Woah. He’s right. It’s like a neon color. It’s strange. I like it because it isn’t “too loud” but it’s bright and confident composure is meaningful. Talk about layering a perfume. What in the world creates this effect I’m describing? I’ve been around A LOT of perfumes and none has had such an effect before Aliens.

I bought a flanker of Angel inspired by instyle bc I live in a small town in East Texas and we get Alien in regularly but not Angel. So I will be driving to get it at another town. But I like your reviews on all of these and btw I think Alien is so awesome! It’s different.
Polarizing is used a lot to describe this house. True story: I worked with an RN who wore Angel EDP as her signature fragrance. She couldn’t understand the complaints👀.
I heard Angel EDT is better than Angel EDP and that the ones sold currently are not the same as the ones formulated in the 90s. On fragrantica it has angel formulated in 2016. I am a little confused but I do like the angel that I smelled at Ulta.
I tend to not get along with Mugler pillar fragrances but love the flankers.

I enjoy some of the flankers to the fragrances more than the original fragrance. I happen to like the Musc Mysterieux version of Alien a little bit better than the original fragrance, although I do really love Alien.

But those bottles amazingly beautiful
I have a hard time appreciating these fragrances. I know how beloved Angel and Alien are, but they don't speak to me. I find them jarring.

AURA /they created the most wonderful beautiful unique fragrance that's why they all got together and magic happened.
It’s interesting that you say Alien reminds you of neon colors from the 80’s, because to my nose it smells so similar to the 80s fragrance Colors, by Benetton.
I went thru so many bottles of Alien original and remember it w lots of synthetic grape and champagne zing, which I loved! Mugler Alien smells more of natural sambac jasmine to me, which oddly I do not like at all. However I just found a discounter and picked up 4 backup bottles of original Alien 👾 👾
