An episode with an orchestra section leader with be great, to get the perspective of the other side of "Cello life". Maybe talking about orchestra auditions and that kind of stuff! Love the videos!
I am glad you all are enjoying “ Talking Cello”. I have some PHENOMENAL guests coming soon, you wanna guess who ? Place your bets and subscribe to not miss them!
Son increíbles! Es super interesante! Muchas gracias!
Thank you Pablo, great talks! I find it especially interesting to see how different players approach the same challenges technically in different ways. It gives courage to try and find ones own way, but inspired by the ways excellent cellists do it.
Such a big fan of both Brannon and Pablo! Brannon seems so humble and has a wonderfully deep voice - he's meant to be a cellist!
Pablo!! MIL GRACIAS ❤❤❤
thank you both of you! I think it was really interesting since you actually have many different technical ideas! thanks again! would love to hear more from you two!
Thank you very much for making these videos! I love it. Please invite Victor Julien-Laferrière for the next episode, he's one of my most favorite cello players! Can you please discuss a question, how much have the competitions you have competed in given to you and how much do they mean to you when you look back in the time? I'd be really interested in that🙂
These two are probably in the top 5 cellists today (even better than the aging greats YoYo, Isserlis, Maiski) one thing I did notice (no offense) is that Pablo is the one the slightly messed up the end of Prokofiev in his most popular recording and Brannon played it like perfectly (better than even Rostropovich) and he did it live •_• I’m not sure he’s human. You both practice so much and I envy your work ethic.
Your cellos sound so different! Both nice in their own way. Vuestros cellos suenan tan distintos.
@@BrannonCho Brannon, you are such an incredible cellist! Such a big fan! Your cellos sound so different, but nice in their own way. What are some of the qualities you appreciate the most of your cello? Are there any interesting history or facts about your cello other than the tremendous dedication of your parents?
Brannon has a very nice caressing voice... i just wish he didn’t end his declarative sentences as question marks... he sometimes does that valley girl accent thing - not sure if that’s a New Jersey thing

Brannon Cho is one of the best cellist I know. And he is very nice and sympathetic.
I would like to play the Klengel Double Cello concerto with him 😂👌
Very interesting thanks ❤
This should become a TV show

You could check out Payam Taghadossi's instagram videos...
soloists r cooler lol end of story
@@nicholaschung8207 Being a soloist and section leader are two COMPLETELY different skillsets, with a section leader arguably being more difficult.

I think Jonathan Roozeman's talk about pinky vibrato is what every cellists need !
Is there a video or something where he talks about this?
Thank you Pablo, great talks! I find it especially interesting to see how different players approach the same challenges technically in different ways. It gives courage to try and find ones own way, but inspired by the ways excellent cellists do it.
This is so enjoyable to watch and I don't even play cello

Genio Pablo!!!
These are fantastic! Bring in Daniel Müller-Schott sometime!!
Amazing sound! What mic you use for recording at home and these stream videos?
Cho's microphone is crazily good! With headphones, I thought he was in my bedroom.
Thanks 😁😊
Tks, very, very nice
Please bring in Jakob Koranyi!!! He's my absolute favorite cello player and a monster!!
Wow! He is my favorite too! A force to be reckoned with.
Quenton Blache wow! are you ‘The Strad’?
Nice video
Could you talk about playing solo Bach? Modern manners, do we have to play more like authentic artist?
yes please :) great idea
No one knows what authentic is, there are baseless speculations based on some vague understanding of non-Bach baroque composers
Could you also talk about practice motivation?
Hello Pablo.... I'd like to know what microphone Brannon used for this interview....
Hello! It's just the microphone on my iPad pro. Thanks for watching!

Pablo, the violinists don't keep their fingers tightly together, unless they are playing in the russian style!
