Hey Fred your audio is right channel only. Maybe check your mic if you’re using an external and make sure it’s plugged all the way in and/or it’s a stereo cord. Just a suggestion…
Glad to see you're going back with an original motor and trans that's in better shape, in a world where everything is LS swapped to death. Would be cool to make this one a daily driver/trail rig, everything doesn't have to be a rock crawler.
Really enjoying the frequency of Fred & Dave's videos on RUclips. Also hoping you two can collaborate on future stuff. While I'll miss DED, I look forward to future content!
Couldnt agree more on a collab. It did feel like they got a little sick of each other 12 + weeks a year together.. But when you are always behind, always struggling, always trying to make a show out of a limited budget and time frame, I feel like personal relationships are going to be the first thing that takes a hit. Man seriously tho, seeing these two collabing, and sharing their own angles of the build would be spectacular. Fred brings insane knowledge and know-how, while daves brings the creative problem solving that allowed them to build amazing vehicles. alone neither are really that funny, but together they make me laugh. Im going to miss that the most. I like the concept of youtube for them, to allow them to really work on the cars they love and make them better. instead of something just to get the most amount of views in the 12/13 episode format from DED.
Fred this is so much better than DED getting to watch you post several time a week vs a year. Love watching the detail that goes into a project rather than weeks of work condensed into 20 min. Also typo in the title 😬
Love the vlogs! Nothing flashy just doing work!Nothing more I hate then wasting time watching someone with a their face in the camera explaining what they are doing instead of just doing it while rolling footage.
I like the longer videos. This was handy for me since I've been dreading having to change the extra battery on my wife's Gladiator. It looks much more straight forward than the dealership had suggested. Thanks.
It’s cool seeing the different styles of videos you and Dave create! Both styles are super cool, very informative, and entertaining! Thanks for the content Fred!
Congratulations on the 50k subs! I'm loving the content and the frequency of the videos. You're a natural at this RUclipse stuff. You'll have your silver play button plack in no time.
Skipping back to comment on this vid of the newbsock series, because I was struck with how interesting even the stock "reconstruction" is...Nice work and looking forward to see how she does on UA. You're g oing to be spoiled by AC and modern NVH standards!
I am about to rewire my '67 Bronco and it has a lot of wires but not as many as that. Even with all the wires it seems they have that engineered pretty well. I have a JK which I imagine is at least similar, so its nice to see how it all goes together.
Fred i put those battery trays and little batteries in at the factory. Yes you have the little battery in facing the right direction. And you even have the big washer hardware correct on the big tray that mounts it to the fire wall. 😉
I’ve reassembled a few atvs from boxes of parts and bolts and I’ve wanted to throw the whole thing in the trash many times. Good on ya for taking on this giant task, it has to be infuriating at times lol
Nice work Fred. This is coming along quick. We have a Gladiator so it's been neat seeing you work on something this torn apart that is this new. Also the start stop thing may not be a problem for you as you live out in the country. If you live in traffic light suburban hell it will drive you bananas. I found myself actually getting so far ahead of the system trying to get the jeep to go it felt like I was neutral dropping it lol. Tazer Mini got rid of the start stop feature or I should say lets it default to off. Does a bunch of other crap too.
Just spent a day doing the timing belt and seals on my 2010 Subaru Forester. I was complaining to myself how hard it is to get to wire clips and spring hose clips. Looking at that wire and hose mess, I take it all back. A Gladiator was on my bucket list to own, not anymore unless they come up with a diesel like they fitted to export Jeeps to Europe and Australia (a VM Morini)
Honestly, the more that the engineers make things idiot proof with how the electronics go together on newer vehicles, the more likely I am to buy newer vehicles to do maintenance on them...I truly do appreciate little details like that when it comes time to do assembly on a big project, it makes life so much easier and makes a frustrating job less frustrating to do...
It is so close! Can't wait to see it running! 🤘 I never knew start stop had a second battery, or jeep had that option lol I wonder how that acts on the trail 🤔
More power to ya guy, but WAY too big of a headache for me. Nowadays I don't touch anything newer than 74. I've got three projects lined up, a 51 Willys Overland wagon, a 46 CJ 2a, and a 63 Dodge Dart GT. Not a computer in sight anywhere. Good luck.
Well Fred I am thankful that you and Dave are still keeping us all a part of what you both are doing. Can you find a 78 or 79 bronco so I can live that dream through you building one of those cuz I want one big time lol. Have a great day brother
Shitcan that battery box and install the genesis dual system, and watch their videos on the install, it's pretty straight forward how that box goes in.
Hey Fred you need 2 pieces of advice for RUclips. 1st your audio needs fixing on your videos. 2nd according to your poll you took you keep spelling Noobsock wrong 😉
And here I thought jeep engineers were idiots the electrical engineer was thinking things out. Good thing you didn’t disassemble the other jeep not all jeeps have the second auxiliary battery
Hey Fred your audio is right channel only. Maybe check your mic if you’re using an external and make sure it’s plugged all the way in and/or it’s a stereo cord. Just a suggestion…
You can also edit with mono out, so even if you only record right channel, it comes out both sides.
I spent 15 mins messing with my headphones thinking one was dead. Loving the regular content!
Lol. I thought my left airpod died.
Really digging the content Fred, and cool to see you putting Newbsock back to stock first, then building it up.
Glad to see you're going back with an original motor and trans that's in better shape, in a world where everything is LS swapped to death. Would be cool to make this one a daily driver/trail rig, everything doesn't have to be a rock crawler.

Like Legos... Hats off to the Engineer that designed the Electrical to at least key in the right way.
Fred this is so much better than DED getting to watch you post several time a week vs a year. Love watching the detail that goes into a project rather than weeks of work condensed into 20 min. Also typo in the title 😬
I think it's because your on your own time schedule but you seem much more relaxed on these videos of late.
Can't wait to see Newbsock all done up!
I like the way you explain things where they go and how to put them back correctly no other channel does that.
Love the vlogs! Nothing flashy just doing work!Nothing more I hate then wasting time watching someone with a their face in the camera explaining what they are doing instead of just doing it while rolling footage.
Wow, there are so many hoses and wires and hard lines. Working on my 97 TJ, suddenly seems like it's a very simple machine.
I like the longer videos. This was handy for me since I've been dreading having to change the extra battery on my wife's Gladiator. It looks much more straight forward than the dealership had suggested. Thanks.
I really feel dealership’s make it sound hard to justify their prices.
It’s cool seeing the different styles of videos you and Dave create! Both styles are super cool, very informative, and entertaining! Thanks for the content Fred!
I love watching the progression of this channel. Just happy for the new videos, not too fussed about audio quality or anything. Keep em coming!
It’s always fun putting something together that someone else took apart.
Hey l was all excited to hear it start! What a cliffhanger ending! 😂
Congratulations on the 50k subs! I'm loving the content and the frequency of the videos. You're a natural at this RUclipse stuff. You'll have your silver play button plack in no time.

Success!! Good work! Almost time for the cool kid stuff!!
I am about to rewire my '67 Bronco and it has a lot of wires but not as many as that. Even with all the wires it seems they have that engineered pretty well. I have a JK which I imagine is at least similar, so its nice to see how it all goes together.
Good video. I liked it. I can see how all the wiring, and electronic doodads can be mind boggling. But good work there.
Fred i put those battery trays and little batteries in at the factory. Yes you have the little battery in facing the right direction. And you even have the big washer hardware correct on the big tray that mounts it to the fire wall. 😉
I am really enjoying the channel Fred! Nice job!
You are very good in front of the camera. Keep on pumping out the content!
duh justin.
Loving it. Videos are looking great. Awsome content.
Solid project, it will be up and running in no time
Excellent work with figuring that all out!
I’ve reassembled a few atvs from boxes of parts and bolts and I’ve wanted to throw the whole thing in the trash many times. Good on ya for taking on this giant task, it has to be infuriating at times lol

I'm loving my '91 YJ more and more everyday...
You can purchase access to Chryslers service library online. Most of the oems have it available. Also there are many ways to disable the stop start.
Can't wait to see NoobSock out tooling around on the trails!
My right ear loved this!
Just spent a day doing the timing belt and seals on my 2010 Subaru Forester. I was complaining to myself how hard it is to get to wire clips and spring hose clips.

A Gladiator was on my bucket list to own, not anymore unless they come up with a diesel like they fitted to export Jeeps to Europe and Australia (a VM Morini)
let's see the pile of extra parts you have left over when you're done! lol
Your engine compartment looks like it had dreads with all those hoses and wires. Bold move tearing into it 😂
I think Alldata will sell you the info on individual vehicles without buying a subscription. Nice work Fred
I’m going to need to see some off roading soon! Really I want DED back. But I’ll talk what I can get.
🤠👍now you're getting somewhere!😎
Hell Yeah Brother. Enjoying the content.
Great video! Very informative!
Keep it up, more Fred !
amazing info man thanks for all the hard work you do.

It's coming together. Just be careful that you don't have extra bolts at the end.
Great content would be awesome to see Fred and Dave do something off road once a month together for the monthly dirt
He eluded to a no compete contract that limits his ability to collaborate with certain folks
dave is in WA, fred in CA
Great job!
Just like playing with LEGO’s.
Consider a Genesis Offroad dual battery kit. Might greatly simplify the electrical.
Loving this RUclips look forward to these videos 👍Just gotta ask how big is your shop?
It is so close! Can't wait to see it running! 🤘 I never knew start stop had a second battery, or jeep had that option lol I wonder how that acts on the trail 🤔
You can turn it off and I believe it turns itself off in 4 low same as some of the other nanny features.
@@XmentalXX that's good too know!
These are the coolest glasses I have ever seen in my life. Can anyone tell me where to get these frame?
More power to ya guy, but WAY too big of a headache for me. Nowadays I don't touch anything newer than 74. I've got three projects lined up, a 51 Willys Overland wagon, a 46 CJ 2a, and a 63 Dodge Dart GT. Not a computer in sight anywhere. Good luck.
I guess 4 is for the aux switch? If the it is not optioned, then it is not available?
A lot of time stuff like that nowadays only goes together one way for the assembly line. Not always, but usually.
Wow, who’d have thought that Jeep would use poka-yoke to assemble their vehicles? Maybe the they did study the vaunted Toyota Production System. 🎉🎉
Well Fred I am thankful that you and Dave are still keeping us all a part of what you both are doing. Can you find a 78 or 79 bronco so I can live that dream through you building one of those cuz I want one big time lol. Have a great day brother
Check out Wayalife video on changing batteries on the JL
Awesome
So who got the pink Bigfoot suit?
Shitcan that battery box and install the genesis dual system, and watch their videos on the install, it's pretty straight forward how that box goes in.
video's are awesome, but I can barely hear you without turning the volume way up.
Yay
It would be so hard for me to reinstall dirty parts - gah!
Dude that would have stressed me right out
Diry?
Hey Fred you need 2 pieces of advice for RUclips. 1st your audio needs fixing on your videos. 2nd according to your poll you took you keep spelling Noobsock wrong 😉
Yor sound is still messed up mate.
And here I thought jeep engineers were idiots the electrical engineer was thinking things out. Good thing you didn’t disassemble the other jeep not all jeeps have the second auxiliary battery
no volume
Please do something about your audio , very hard to hear
Diry Daily???
Diry?
