      GT inDy what do u mean? I'm not good in english, should we let our legs straight while in in?bcos u said don't bend. Could u give example photo? Thanks you.

      Straight knees are leg raises if that helps.

      Reverse Crunch is simply "bend your spine bringing up the pelvis, not the chest" and from this simple statement opens an universe of variations.
      THE Problem is that every video start from different level of abdominal/trunk stability (generally made with athletes models).
      If you (general you) sit 8 hours for work, it will be very difficult to make even the first part of the video without back/neck-pain, because in the movement of returning with feet down, your lower back will rise from the floor (sudden Ileo-Psoas tension= ouch...my back...)
      THE point is: your lower back has to remain stable on the floor.
      whatever your legs do, you have to control with your abdominal core (every lumbar muscles more or less) the pressure on the floor.
      In the video the girl is already well trained and can properly control the back going down (eccentric control).
      So keep this in mind if you (the general "you" before) are approaching this kind of exercises: lower back has to be stable, whatever the legs do.
      Startng from this you can develop a good core stability and step forward on different levels.

    no one seems to know how a revers crunch works. al videos differ. i like this one but would just alter one thing..slow down alot. because the speed at which she is lifting the legs up, u are using momentum. rowing effect. so slow down , pause at top for half a second and same at bottom.. but nice video... and as comment bellow i would also not flex spine. only leg movements

      Don't forget to workout other body parts too don't only do crunches haha. Push ups and squats along with crunches are a good start

      @@umbrella3096 yes, 20 crunches,10 reverse crunches,30 bicycle crunches along with 10-15 jump squats and some diamond push ups really are good for teen aged 13-17. Results are noticeable wihin 1 month and everyday it just take upto 20/15 min
      from personal experience.... many can have different structure ... so it wont be exact same

      Just sticking with normal and proper push ups, I legit just turned 16 yesterday but I feel like I'm still doing pretty bad for my age

    everyone here from AOT but I'm here because this was Arnold Schwarzenegger's shoulder and arms workout.
    We are not the same.
    JK, I've never watched AOT but I suspect it to be mad good. I'll watch it sometime in 2022.

      AOT is definitely a must watch. One of the most well-animated, emotional, suspenseful, and beautiful stories I’ve ever seen. It has the right amount of unexpected plot twists, backstories, and gore. I recommend watching it in sub if possible, as I feel the VAs out a lot more emotion into their acting with it.

      Maybe it's just u should raise only legs up how it is shown without lifting spine. I would do it that way cause can do more so heart gets a better workout cause fook running for cardio cause not needing knee surgery is a good thing. :P

      Try not to touch the floor with the knees. Lower your knees just as long as your spine is straight. If you're arching your back you're putting too much stress on your psoas and your back hurts

      All lay down sit ups and crunches are bad for lower back.
      I had a disk taken out as I used to do LOTS!.
      I'm training again now, put on 3st in 4yrs.
      Only stomach work out I do and love is Hanging leg raise, with variations and weight as time goes on.

      Miriam 090985 when u lift ur legs. Make sure to engage your core as that will help u feel the burn!

      @@yazmin6769 no, you breath OUT during concentric movements (the leg lift portion) and breath in during the eccentric (legs going down). Always keep the core tight regardless.

      @@shereef3033 Someone's jealous... I always make sure I do my exercises 100% right, that's why I was looking this up on RUclips (bc I wanted to start doing this again). I even used to do this with weights, I was definitely not swinging around.

    Wrong form, don't let your thighs go further than perpendicular to the floor, and if you want to isolate de abdominal muscles keep you thigs still and jast repeat the last portion of the movement, when you flex the spine.

    She is doing this (partly) wrong, you should use no leg momentum in this exercise, it should be all lower abs--hesitate 1 sec at the start position after each rep.
