The news of his passing has really shaken me. Rest in peace, Mr Sherman, I hope you and Robert can finally play this together for Walt up there once more. We'll never forget you.

I got to meet Richard at my church (they were doing an event dedicated to him), and I got to perform "It's a Small World" with him. That was a moment to remember.

They don’t write disney songs like this anymore💔 this is timeless and no “let it go” or “family madrigal” will ever EVER compare

I cry a river every time I hear this masterpiece, as Walt Disney did without fail. That lady had a heart of gold to feed those precious birds. The movie has not one bad song, and this is the best of them.

Thank you Sherman brothers for all the great work you've done for Walt!

  • @myah2545

This is obviously debatable, but I really think this is the most beautiful Disney song of all time.

  • @t.a.covers83

RIP sir. Thank you so much for your beautiful music, memories shared about Walt and your gift.

  • @soullifter3697

One of my favorite songs. You are now with both your brother and Walt now - writing songs once again - I am sure of it. Thank you Robert!

  • @terris7282

  • @SunshineAvenueSips

Rest in peace, Richard. You brought so many magical memories and melodies to our lives. Thank you. 🙏🏼 ❤

He was a genius. I miss him. I didn't find out till this morning. I'm not much of a cryer, but I cried. He gave us so much. Whether it was a phenomenon like Mary Poppins or a gentle masterpiece like Winnie the Pooh, he crafted essentially perfect music. Thank goodness that even with him gone, we have his legacy. What a lovely, kind, brilliant gentleman.

  • @CB-er4vy

Your music added a unique touch of magic to so many Disney films and helped us connect with the characters on a whole new level. Your songs told their own stories and continue to speak to people of all ages. May you be filled with peace and thank you for all the joy you shared with the world.

  • @elleramirez1373

Richard Sherman came to the arts school that I attend and it was the most amazing experience. I have never met a more influential figure.
