I just made this last night, i let it cool and added the icing an hour ago, It's AMAZING!!
The batter is so soft and almost snow like, i didn't have any sour cream so I didn't put any in and its still moist!
I didn't have cream cheese for the icing and its superb!
Will definitely make again! It reminds me of the late 1960's with the neon green colour as well.

Your baked goods are beautiful and so appealing! This would be an awesome for St Patrick’s Day. The flecks of Lime green are so subtle that they’d be perfect for those looking for the green! You’d get the last laugh knowing there’s tiny flecks of green throughout the dessert! Also well represented on the icing
Looks good I will have to try this. Every time I do any baking recipe unless it's a cheesecake I always bring the temperature down 25degrees less than what the directions say but add a little more time to the product

Looks yummy absolutely beautiful! I was always taught to cream my sugar and butter until it’s a yellowish off white color and fluffy and my cakes are moist and light and I’ve NEVER had a streak and I bake a lot! I was always told the streaks happen from over mixing once you start adding the flour.
yeah i always cream my butter and sugar for 5-7 minutes and ive never had any problems
